Explorers Gidea Park

I strongly recommend this nursery to all parents who want to know that their child is safe during the hours spent away from them.

My child has settled very well at Explorers Gidea Park after a few weeks of crying. The manager and staff have supported his settling in period with great success and have constantly communicated (via the app) his day to day activities, which has been a huge comfort. He is constantly asking to go back to his preschool now, to play with his friends, and is always asking where his teacher is. As parents, this is a huge positive and we were lucky enough to find the perfect preschool for him.

Having experienced different nurseries over the last few years, having two kids, I was extremely impressed with the level of communication; with daily updates on what the children have been doing. It’s so lovely to see what they have been doing and how the interact without parents around. It is a lovely setting to get them ready for school. My daughter absolutely loves her phonics with 'Robot Reg', football and science week. We will be sad to leave. However, I feel she has been given the tools to transition into school well.

My little girl attends this nursey Monday to Friday, full days, and she loves it. She is always happy going in and coming out. The staff are so friendly, helpful and the activities they do with the children are amazing. There is always a new focus for the week and the children love it. As a full-time working mum, I don’t always get to drop off or collect my little one, but the communication between home and the nursey is outstanding. The app is so simple to use, to message the teachers, and I'm always receiving daily updates on what the children have been doing. I would highly recommend this nursey to everyone.

So pleased with the amazing staff and activities for our little ones and you can also be all the time in contact with your kids and their teachers by using the famly app where they post pictures and other relevant activities

My daughter loves going to nursery and the staff are all wonderful. So patient and understanding not only with the kids but with me as an anxious mum. Love the range of activities provided. Can't rate highly enough.

Our son started at Explorers in September 2022. Since starting, he has been very happy and settled. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Our son is very shy and can be anxious at times. However, Explorers have been brilliant with him, and he's really coming out of his shell. The communication is fabulous, and we are well-informed and often get sent pictures of what they are doing in the session. We are really happy with the preschool and highly recommend it.

Excellent. My 2-year-old son started nursery in September and since then he developed so much. At the beginning, he was speechless now he is talking so much and is more active, more involved in our daily activities. Well done and congratulations!

My child attends and he has special needs, the staff are absolutely great making sure his needs are met, they are very friendly and approachable and keep me up to date on a daily basis. My child is always happy to attend and I would highly recommend this Preschool to anyone looking for a great setting for their child.

I highly recommend this nursery and will be signing my daughter up too. The staff are friendly and helpful. They helped wean my son off his dummy and now his speech has rapidly improved as well as him learning to share with others. But more importantly, he absolutely loves it there and loves getting ready and going to nursery - his excitement makes me a contented mother!

Fabulous nursery. My daughter has the best time there. Staff are excellent at keeping you up to date with how your childs day is going. Love the pictures that i receive on a daily basis. Things like this really put my mind at rest.

My daughter absolutely loved going here. Shes moved on to big school now, but she still talks about her time at the nursery constantly. Staff communication was amazing. The app is really helpful to know whats going on with the kids while theyre there for the day. Thank you!

Lots of lovely memories. Surprise Easter bunny appearance, cooking, singing, painting, outdoor visits, mud pies from mud kitchen, robot reg and a lovely graduation ceremony at the end. I loved that parking is just right on the door step which makes pick up and drop of a nice experience too. Finally, this place really prepared my daughter for big school. She is a quiet girl who struggled to leave my side in the beginning of nursery. The transition to big school was so smooth. Thank you Explorers.
