Partou Park Road Day Nursery & Pre-School is quietly tucked away from the main road yet within easy walking distance of Chorley town centre and the beautiful Astley Park, offering a warm and nurturing environment where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are genuinely well known and well cared for.

The nursery is great and accomodating.
Shannen and Courtney are always frendly and welcoming for both kids.
The food is a struggle and the menu.

The best nursery I have experienced for my little one. The staff are kind, caring and considerate. They have learned my child to blossom over the last year and half.
They do different activities like painting, dance, playing in the garden and going out for walks to park and libary. All this is documented
on the app with pictures off your child's day.
We will miss this nursery and staff so much!

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery. My child is always happy to go in, which says so much about the caring and welcoming environment the staff create. It's clear they are very well looked after, and I feel completely at ease leaving them in such capable hands.
The team always
provides a variety of fun and engaging activities each day, keeping the children busy, stimulated, and excited to learn. It's lovely to see how much effort goes into making each day enjoyable and enriching.
Most importantly, I feel confident that my child is safe and cared for at all times. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents looking for high-quality childcare

Our youngest has been at this setting for 2.5 years and our eldest also attended before he started school.
We chose the nursery for their diverse play opportunities and resources having viewed a few others and we've seen this go from strength to strength. The current staff and management are excellent,
the atmosphere among the staff seems easy and happy, and the way they interact with us is also friendly and approachable.
My kids have both been very happy here and I've definitely noticed how much extra attention is being given to the activities offered and potential for learning through play in the last couple of years. They also get out into the local areas a lot and spend a good amount of time outside. We really have no complaints, the room leaders have now all been there for a few years and you can really tell how much that continuity and leadership brings to the setting, and how invested they are in providing a fun and safe space for the kids.

The nursery goes above and beyond to ensure children are happy, safe, and well cared for. They provide a wide range of themed activities that really support learning and development in a fun and engaging way.

Park Road have been amazing with our little one. She has settled in so well and staff are great with her. Becca and her team are make you feel so welcome at all times and always have time for any questions that we have. Can only recommend.
The only small downside has been the recent change to hours
from head office. It feels less about supporting families and more about business decisions, which is a bit disappointing.

My little boy has been at park road nursery since he was 1 and a half and we have never had any problems. We've Always been informed with anything in and around nursery. The girls are lovely and have always been very good. If ever I have had any concerns they would listen and help in everyway they could.

This is our second experience of Nature Trail, having sent our eldest to the same setting. We couldn't be happier - our daughter settled in very quickly and is always happy running in to see her friends. The staff are great, and actively encourage each child's interest. They regularly go for walks to
the park, and play outside whenever they can, which is something we really appreciate.

My children have attended this nursery since 2022 and absolutely love going. The staff are warm and personable, and they arrange a great variety of activities.


I'm confident that my children are happy throughout their day, and I'm pleased that I chose this nursery for them.

My daughter goes to this nursery . The staff go above and beyond for the kids here . Especially Shannon , who has been a great assistant manager . Also understand where we are coming from and has a great relationship with my little girl . I could not fault them , best nursery around Chorley . This is
my daughter second nursery she has been to due to having to move her as her old one sent her with homework . These don't do that they work with you and the team is so friendly .

Overall we have been happy with the nursery setting. Our child has been in each room and we cannot fault their development. The staff who work at the nursery, particularly those with longer service, are a credit to the business and clearly care for the children but I do feel the nursery is understaffed
at times.
Communication could be improved in regards to app updates during the day but our child overall appears to be happy and thriving and that is my priority.
Since Partou took the nursery over, the food options have been disappointing. I have been assured that an alternative would be provided should nothing be eaten and I do hope this is the case still.


For several months now there has been a lack of 'out of nursery experiences' such as park visits, out in the community, swimming, bus trips ect. It would be great to see this returned as was a major advantage of the nursery previously.

From day 1 the nursery provides thorough updates and handovers via the app and in person. My child loves going to nursery and enjoys constant activities provided throughout the day. The staff are friendly, nurturing and approachable and honestly can't fault any of them.

All of the nursery team cannot do enough for my child. In almost 3 years of attending, my child has never once said they didn't want to go to nursery, and I don't have to worry about whether he's safe or having fun.
My child is thriving and gets to learn about and do things and eat new foods they
won't normally do at home.
My child starts school in 6 months and I'm not worried. Nursery has set them up with good socialising skills, assisted with potty training, basic numeracy and literacy skills, and excellent gross and fine motor skills.
Although the outside space is limited, the location is great meaning they do regular trips to different parks and into town.
I will always be thankful to the staff and this nursery.

My son has been at this nursery since March 2024. Every single step of the way he has had full support and is now thriving in this nursery environment. The staff here are all incredibly committed and have your child's best interest at heart. I couldn't think of a better nursery for my son. The activities
they do with the children are brilliant and teach them so much in fun ways. Routine here is also brilliant and really works for my son. 10/10.

The staff are Nature Trail Park Road are lovely. They take the time to know all of the children really well, putting parents at ease. They arrange regular stay and play events which are really lovely to be part of.
It would be even better if updates on the app were more consistent and photos were
received more frequently.
Long term staff absence and staff changes arent always communicared well which can lead to some anxiety for parents. This could be improved.
Finally, since the new company have taken over, local visits have been less and it would be great if these could increase again.

I cannot fault the staff at this nursery! They are caring, compassionate and have lovely bonds with the kids.
I drop my daughter off knowing that she will have a fantastic day, being very well looked after.
Each staff member has their own individual qualities and I couldn't be happier sending my daughter
here.

My son has been to other nurseries before but this one stands out the most, it is so friendly and welcoming, the staff are very approachable and easy to get on with, my son loves it here they do amazing activities and go out on walks a lot of the time, I would definitely recommend to anyone.
