Busy Bees Glasgow Oakwood is located three miles south of the city, made up of two lovely buildings designed to support children at each age and stage of their development. Oak Cottage is a purpose-built facility for children aged 0-3 years while the Pre-School Centre is housed in a large Victorian villa and is home to children aged 3-5, designed to challenge children and prepare them for their next adventures in education.

The rooms at Oakwood nursery near Glasgow, are bright and airy and there is a beautiful, spacious and exciting garden to play and explore in, helping children develop their confidence, self-esteem and physical skills.

The friendly and welcoming team at Oakwood have worked diligently to facilitate a very high standard of child care and education. Offering quality learning experiences which encourage children to be eager learners, well-prepared and equipped for school.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Right from the very start from the initial meeting with the centre director in August 2024 to our son having his first keeping in touch day in December 2024 the communication has been excellent. I was really apprehensive about transitioning our boy into nursery as he hadn't really been left with anyone
else before. Our first few settle in days were hard however the girls gave me the reassurance that I was leaving him in the best hands. They even phoned with an update for me. It took an extra few settle session however he is now settled and interacting a lot better. All the staff are amazing with him and very patient. Would highly recommend.

Hello, my name is Emma and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Glasgow Oakwood.


I have worked within the Busy Bees family for over 10 years now in a variety of roles. I am passionate about providing all of our children with the best start in life and helping them to make memories that will last forever. My aim is to create a homely environment where children can learn and thrive, where they can feel safe and secure and lastly become successful, confident individuals. I have achieved my Level 4 in Social Services (Children and young people), I am qualified in First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid and hold a forest school leader qualification.


I look forward to meeting your family and welcoming you to our nursery in Glasgow.
