Fantastic nursery - highly recommended!
I couldn't be happier with Arcadia! The staff are absolutely wonderful, so kind, caring, and always happy to help. My little boy loves going every day, which speaks volumes about the warm and nurturing environment they provide.
The nursery itself is gorgeous,
purpose-built, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. Before my son started, I was quite nervous about leaving him somewhere unfamiliar, but those worries disappeared quickly when I saw how happy and excited he was to attend. It's so reassuring to know he's in a place where he's well cared for and eager to return.
I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and engaging setting for their child.

We are so happy with our choice in putting our son to Arcadia Nursery at East Bush. He has now been there for almost one year and we have nothing but praise for the nursery staff, management and setting as a whole. My child attended Arcadia - The Bush from 9 months old until they started school. My child ended up visiting the hospital on 3 occasions during their time at nursery. Maybe we were unlucky but on 2 of the occasions, I felt the accidents were completely avoidable. One incident involved my child getting
their toe stuck in a closing door while in the baby room. Pre-school has been the biggest disappointment for me, which has only become apparent now that my child is at school. My child doesn't appear to have been taught anything re. Numbers and letters, the other children in his school are quite a bit ahead. While my child was at nursery I did ask if they would spend time practicing writing (we'd been practicing in the house), but they said there was no point as the way they'd be taught at school would be completely different. This didn't make sense to me. The staff were all extremely friendly and the setup around meal times was good. The onsite chef was good. They were happy here though.

Both my children have attended Easter Bush Arcadia Nursery, with my youngest finishing in July 2024, to start P1 in August. They both loved it. The staff are very nice, there is a very big outdoor space and kids are free to take part in a lot of activities both indoors and outdoors, depending on their
personal interests. There is something for everybody.
Arcadia staff were also very accommodating with my son, who had some eating issues at the time, and their help and support meant a lot.
Transition to primary school was very easy for both of my kids and I am sure a good part of the merit goes to the amazing job Arcadia staff did.

All staff at Arcadia Easter Bush have been fantastic in all the years we have known them. We had both our children going through nursery there for a total of 7 years and I always found them caring, prepared, helpful, and incredibly professional. Would 100% recommend it!

My little boy started at Arcadia in January 24 and we have all been made to feel so welcomed. He settled immediately with the help of the lovely staff. The staff are fantastic and really take the time to get to know the families. They are so dedicated and knowledgeable.
The nursery itself is light
and airy and is always so well looked after. The resources are endless and I love to hear about everything my little one has been doing throughout the day. The meals are all home-cooked on site and sound delicious! We couldn’t be happier with Arcadia, the management and the staff.

Both of our children have loved their time at Arcadia Easter Bush. The oldest is now at school having left Arcadia last year, and our youngest is currently in Peace Room. She enjoys a range of different activities such as baking, yoga, stories, games, gardening, music and dancing, both on-site at the
nursery and exploring the areas round about. The children are fortunate enough to have the vet school on their doorstep, so get to visit there, as well as other places like the local care home and museums. The staff are brilliant - they’re hugely supportive and responsive to our daughter and her needs, and seem happy in their work. Parents are kept informed daily as to activities, meals, sleep, etc, through the app, at pick-up, and through social occasions such as family breakfasts.
The nursery building itself is clean, modern and welcoming. The children have constant access to a lovely outdoor space and enjoy a wide range of food options from the on-site chef. Highly recommended!

Arcadia has been a brilliant choice for our son’s first experience of nursery.
The wonderful staff have helped settle him in and we’ve noticed such a big change in him (in a good way!).
The food offered is of excellent quality (my son often wolfs down two portions!) and he has learnt to eat with
cutlery since he turned 12 months old.
The learning activities in place are varied and my son thrives there, we are so glad we made this childcare choice.
The payment details are archaic (no direct debit option) but that is the University of Edinburgh at fault, nothing within Arcadia’s control.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she turned 1, and now she is just about to turn 3. She thoroughly loves going to nursery and it usually takes me 30 mins to convince her to leave. The staff makes the nursery what it is. They are so caring and constantly looking out for my daughter's well-being
and encouraging her to push her boundaries. Whether this is with play, social interactions, or food. As a result, she is a confident, happy, and independent child. Thank you, Arcadia.

I have had both my children in Arcadia Easter Bush since they were 1 years old. The staff are amazing with them and create lovely bonds with children. The activities particularly they have done over the years are greatly additional and over and above most nurseries - the care home visits, forest school
days, and football skills classes.
The nursery is like an extended family, and my kids have thrived there.

Settling in for our child was excellent and he has after a few months really enjoys going into nursery. He loves the space inside and outside and the staff respond excellently to what the child expresses an interest in doing that day. The daily feedback is also much appreciated and the working together
in eg naps makes the transition from home days to nursery days much easier. Fantastic experience.

Arcadia is a brilliant nursery with great outdoor space, creative activities put on for the children daily, and caring staff. We have had great experiences for both our children at Arcadia. The outdoor location is one of my favourite aspects about the place.

Very happy with Arcadia nursery and the service that it provides. Our child has now been attending there for several years and really enjoys going. The facilities are very good and it's in a great location with lots of outdoor space.
The staff are always very helpful and go to a lot of effort to put
on a range of learning activities. They always provide lots of feedback on how our child is getting on and we can see that they care about his development.
Overall it's a very high-quality nursery and we are very happy with sending our child there.

Both of my daughters have attended Arcadia since they were 11 months old and we love it. My youngest is currently in the Peace playroom and is very happy there. She has bonded with her friends and all the staff are lovely. The nursery itself is a beautiful, modern space with excellent facilities and
an amazing garden overlooking fields. It’s a lovely environment and we feel very lucky that our children attend. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great nursery overall!
Our kid loves it there and often doesn't want to go home.
Great staff. Polite and informative towards parents, caring and nurturing towards kids. Regular online updates throughout the day.
Facilities are nice, purpose-built building and not an adapted space. Good location,
and offers plenty of outside time, with farm walks, woodland walks, etc.
We're very happy with the nursery.

I am very proud of my child for learning new skills at Arcadia. I believe the learning and nurturing environment Arcadia provides enables my child to thrive in her current stage of development. My child wakes up excitedly on the days she goes to nursery and calls out to go as she enjoys her time there.
I feel reassured knowing she is very well looked after in this facility.

This is a snapshot of December but would also reflect every month. I have a child who has transitioned through all three rooms, and I have been impressed at every stage. When there are special events, (eg Christmas), Arcadia always includes all children in as much as possible. They often have multiple
Christmas parties to make sure that all children can attend depending on their days. They even add special touches like a piper! And they always cater for special diets at these events (my child needs this). The staff are so thoughtful about that! They are nurturing and supportive of my child and his development, and make going to the nursery a fun, rewarding experience. He always wants to go. I feel the staff are respectful and willing to discuss my child, and whilst they have a difficult job, they never let me see that! The outside space and focus on nature are wonderful. Great meals too!
I am genuinely going to be gutted when he has to go into P1.

Fab nursery with great indoor and outdoor spaces. I love the areas surrounding the nursery, the woodland and the vets where the kids get to out on walks. They get taken on other fab trips such as visits to the vets and more recently a nursing home.
The staff are super friendly and trusting. Always
keeping us updated on our child’s well-being, progress and learning. Always wanted my children to attend here, and glad they got in!

As a parent, who has had children attend a few different private nurseries, Arcadia is head and shoulders above. All staff are very welcoming and take extra time to update you on your child’s day on drop off and pick up, never feel rushed. Always feel like they really want to know you on a personal
level.

Doreen is our Easter Bush nursery manager and has many years experience in Early Years.
With her wide range of knowledge and skills Doreen leads her team to ensure the children are at the centre of all they do and that high quality childcare is delivered to our families.
