Hiya I’m Mel i am a dedicated Nursery Manager with a true passion for fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children. With a keen focus on developing spaces that inspire growth, creativity, and learning, I thrive on creating an atmosphere where both children and families feel
we are supporting them through their child’s journey and making sure they have everything they need. It’s rewarding to see the positive impact we can have on the children and families we work with every day.

Before joining the Banana Moon Aberdeen International team I work in our sister Banana Moon nurseries since 2017 supporting and improving alongside other managers.

Hi, my name is Megan. I am the nursery Deputy Manager and I have loved working with children for the last 7 years. Throughout my studies at Norland College, I worked alongside children from all different backgrounds and developmental stages. One of the things I love most about my role is building strong partnerships with parents. I believe that working closely together creates the best opportunities for the children and families we support. I’m also passionate about thinking outside the box to create exciting and engaging experiences that inspire curiosity and learning. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the children grow and thrive in an environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

Hiya, I am Kai. I am the baby moons room lead and level 3 qualified. I have loved working my way up to this position and have learned and experienced so much over the years. I enjoy helping the babies meet their milestones and achievements and watching them grow and develop throughout the nursery.

Hiya, I am Stephanie and I am mini moon lead. I received my level 3 qualifications at the beginning of 2023. I enjoy building bonds with the mini moons and watching them meet their development milestones. I also enjoy at this age that the children communication skills begin to form and you can start having conversations with them but they also still enjoy having a cuddle. My favourite thing to do is role play and watching their imagination skills take over their play.

Hiya, I’m Kim and I am the full moons leader, I am current level 3 qualified and working towards my level 4 childcare qualification. I am passionate about watching them meet Full moons grow develop their skills in the nursery, getting them ready to move on to school.

My name is Abbie, I am 19 and in the babyroom. I have been working towards my level 3 qualification and am in the end started waiting for my conversation certificate! My favourite part of working with the children is getting to see them grow and learn and my favourite activity to do with the children is messy play.

Hiya, my name is Lisa and I work in the Full Moons room. I’m currently working towards my level 3 qualification. I love my job here, and I especially enjoy doing lots of messy play with the children! Alongside watching them grow and develop throughout the nursery.

Hi I’m Catia, I’m happy to be part of this nursery team! I’m a proud mum of a 1 year old boy, so I’m learning something new everyday about this incredible journey of parenthood. I originally came from Portugal, where I worked in different places, but to go back to work with children was my goal! I’ve also gained experience working in early years practise which has deepened my understanding of how young children grow, learn and thrive.
