My daughter has been attending Burlish since January, after a move from another nursery. I can’t tell you the difference it has made, mostly to her social development. She always looks forward to going and tells me what she’s going to do and who she’s going to play with. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable. They are also amazing at updating the app with regards to my daughter's learning journey! All round fantastic, thank you.
My child absolutely loves this nursery. He has come on so much with his speech and phonics since joining and made so many new friends. They also have an amazing forest school, which encourages the children to learn about the great outdoors.
All four of my children have attended Burlish Park Nursery. It is and always has been, a home from home for them. I have seen it only get better and better over the years. My youngest is currently attending and looks forward to his day at nursery every morning. The staff are all amazing and I feel my child is safe and well looked after in their care.
They are a wonderful welcoming nursery and ensure your child feels safe and enjoys learning. All three of my boys have attended this nursery and I love it! My son needs help with speech and language and they have helped him so much with his confidence.
This was my child's first term at nursery. He has fitted in so well and I have been kept up to date with all decisions and his progression throughout. I had some issues with my funding, which caused a big stress for me financially. Burlish, were more than understanding and helped me through this. My child looks forward to going to nursery and seems to have made great bonds with staff and other children already. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and definitely give the best care for the children. Love the idea of the app, which shows updates of your child's day and any development marks they have achieved. Overall, really impressed with the first term, for Burlish Nursery.
My son went there until September 2021. He loved his teachers, they were a fantastic influence on him and I'm currently waiting to send my other son to nursery, in September. They are very helpful and polite to parents and understand your concerns as parents. They were fantastic through the pandemic and my son grew up so much, working with the manager and certain members of staff. I may have missed someone, but I thank them so much for their hard work with my son.
Absolutely amazing nursery, my little girl loved it. They sent regular photos and videos of what she was doing and made the transition into mainstream school so easy. The staff go above and beyond and really encourage children, in a very happy environment. Cannot thank them enough.
Absolutely fantastic nursery, amazing staff and two fully stocked rooms with everything needed to teach the children through play and keep them happy and wanting to return. The forest school is one of the best I have ever seen. So much hard work has been put in for the children to enjoy outdoor activities and spot the wildlife that now habitat there. The children love it and parents are happy knowing they are safe and looked after.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Respectful and understanding of my son's needs and strive hard to try to meet his complex needs. My son enjoys his time at nursery and if there is a barrier they try to find a way to overcome it. For example trying to learn some sign-along to communicate with my son, allowing me to 1-1 my son in forest school for his safety, so he doesn’t miss out. The nursery staff work with and alongside parents to meet the children's needs to the best of their abilities.
The manager and her wonderful staff have made my two boys transition into nursery a very easy one. My children return home happy and certainly enjoy their time at the nursery. The nursery staff are well in the loop with any concerns with my childs' learning and they are working alongside us, addressing a couple of issues. Thanks to the nursery, we are now on track and progressing well in preparation for reception in September 2022. I cannot thank the nursery enough for their enthusiasm and support each day and my boys are very fond of all of the members of staff. They will certainly miss their time spent there, once they move onwards in their school journey.
I also love to receive the regular app updates, showing me photos and details of what she has been up to. Special mention to one member of staff in particular, who is an excellent teaching assistant, who goes above and beyond for the children. My son also previously attended the nursery and loved his time there. I will also be forever grateful to one particular teaching assistant for staying late with my son, when there was a mix up and no one picked him up from school. She waited with him in after school club until I arrived, without hesitation. Another staff member is also wonderful! The manager does an amazing job and I always feel happy and confident leaving my children in their care, where they thrive and flourish. Highly recommend.
My daughter has attended since January and can be quite a handful, to say the least! She has been well cared for and the nursery have kept me well informed. She absolutely loves attending and despite a few hiccups along the way, as to be expected at a young age, she loves to go into 'school'. She also loves the outdoor facilities, especially the sandpit! They have different adult-led activities each day, which I’m told my little one is always the first to go and complete. She also comes home with different worksheets she has completed as well as artwork every day.
Both of my daughters have been to this nursery and both times it was an absolute pleasure. The staff really encourage children to reach their full potential in all aspects. They teach them the basics of numbers and really strive to help with reading. My daughter's confidence both improved greatly and there is great communication between staff and parents. Overall a lovely experience and I feel so lucky that both of my children started their education here. I feel It has really cemented a great future for them by introducing them to new skills and experiences whilst in a safe and happy environment. They are very friendly, always helpful and dedicated to ensuring all children get the best care. I can’t thank the staff enough for all of their hard work and commitment.
