Kids Planet Woodstock Road

My daughter had a great time at the nursery/rising threes'. She was well taken care of by the nursery staff and she was very happy to be there. My husband and I were very pleased to see that the nursery made changes to the nursery environment as that excited my daughter very much. They could do a little bit better with the food as my daughter might need sometimes more encouragement. Otherwise we are looking forward to her being at preschool and creating memories there.

A wonderful nursery with a real sense of community and happiness. The kids' happiness is apparent, as is the support and care the team provide.

We love Kids Planet Woodstock Road nursery! Everyone in the baby room is lovely and they made the transition as smooth as possible. A special thank you to two staff members in particular, who are always running around after our little Miss!

Our son moved into 'Rising Threes' at Easter time. He almost immediately loved the new room with easy access to the big garden. The team in the room is terrific. The room leader is fabulous; she puts her heart and soul into leading the room. She creates astonishing, stimulating worlds for the little ones to explore (which must also take her a huge amount of time in both thinking up these ideas and then putting them into practice). She pours all her energy into the room and our son (and all the children) are flourishing as a result. The other members of her team are also wonderful and work really hard with the children.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience with the Kids Planet Woodstock Road nursery. And I’m so grateful to every member of the staff who takes such good care of my precious little one. You are all angels!

There are regular activities which my daughter really enjoys and I love seeing photos of her taking part.

We moved our children out of Woodstock Road after a long period of decline. Our oldest child started in late 2019 and we were happy with it then. But as the sector generally struggled, staff left and the nursery came under the management of Kids Planet the nursery failed to meet basic standards of safety and hygiene for both our children (our youngest started in 2022). After complaints, and with the introduction of a couple of really good staff, we felt things were improving. But these staff left, Kids Planet didn't seem to take the problems seriously, and we lost confidence in the nursery to keep the children safe. Staff didn't know which children were expected to attend or who their named key person was. There were few activities visible beyond crowd control. Our oldest started having regular nightmares which have stopped shortly after switching to another nursery. When we left in August 2022 no staff remained from when we had joined. I would not recommend this nursery.

We are extremely happy with the care that our daughter has received at Woodstock Road Nursery. The staff are lovely, hardworking and conscientious. She is very happy/ looks forward to going to nursery each day. There are lots of events and opportunities for the kids to get involved in themed days. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and keen to really get to know the children and make sure they are cared for. I would highly recommend Woodstock Day Nursery to other parents.

So far, so great, especially under the new management. Last weekend, we enjoyed the picnic activity with all the Kids' Planets Nursery. It was a great and lovely time to catch up, see parent friends and their kids from the other nurseries, the kids engaging with one another, finally meet some of the parents and have time for a good chat. The staff there was very welcoming and friendly. I had fun myself with the paper mache! The token bag at the end was very kind. Thank you for organising this event. Hope there is more to come. Now, regarding the nursery itself, it is very well located (short walking distance for us), which is a plus! The classical music in the background (especially in the morning) is quite soothing. The welcoming refreshments every Thursday is very thoughtful. Meals are diverse; it would be helpful to access meal plans for the week (e.g. in the weekly newsletter). Staff pictures and names at the entrance of each room would be beneficial. All the best!
