Woodlands Nursery is a warm and welcoming space that makes use of the great outdoors to encourage child-led learning. The nursery is purpose-built for children aged between 1 and 4 years old.

The nursery promotes active learning through experiences and children benefit from twice weekly forest school sessions built into their routine in their own forest garden.

The outdoor wooded area offers an abundance of changing activities to encourage children to learn and develop through a wide variety of stimulus and includes a climbing frame, large mud kitchen and sandpit.

Inside, the nursery has three rooms 'Worms' (babies from 1-2), 'Hedgehogs' (toddlers between 2-3) and Bunnies (for children aged 3 and over). They have been designed to allow children easy access to learn through self-choice with beautiful child sized furniture by 'Community playthings'. The nursery has home corners, construction and small world play in all of their rooms.

Woodlands Nursery has been absolutely fantastic with my little girl! All staff are lovely and welcoming and are very supportive and helpful with anything needed! My little girl absolutely loves it there and runs straight in and never wants to leave! They do such a good mixture of play and learning while
making sure all children are having fun! I can't recommend them enough!
