My son has had a hugely positive time at Sunflowers Nursery. His confidence has soared and his independence support him to take part in different activities outside of school too. The nursery staff are extremely welcoming and the photos and communication via the app is exemplary. The wide offerings of subjects taught has been perfect for my son and they have and continue to prepare him for his transition to Reception next academic year. Now they accept from my 2, my younger son will be joining earlier which I am delighted by.

My son loves Sunflowers nursery. The staff have been amazing at helping him settle. He has developed so many new skills in a short space of time and is excited to go in each day.
All the staff are extremely attentive and know each child exceptionally well. The nursery offers trips, wonderful lunches, forest school and include the nursery as part of the SPS main school. I would highly recommend the nursery.

My daughter loves Sunflower Nursery. She joined in September 2022 and since then she has enjoyed every hour in the Nursery. She loves Forest Day, PE and Music class. All over I would say we have made the best decision to put her in Sunflower Nursery as each day she comes back home with new songs, new ideas, new stories and new skills.
Thank you very much for your lovely review of our nursery.
We have seen huge developments in his behaviour and learning, and also conduct.
We love the community the nursery and school have to offer.
Thank you very much for your kind review of our nursery.
Our son joined Sunflowers once he turned 3, having previously been cared for by a lovely childminder, but he was ready to step up his learning and socialising. He has blossomed under the care and support of the SPS Nursery staff! They have very small groups, a multitude of activities indoors and outside, gentle learning, parents are kept closely involved. Each week he comes back with new skills, new ideas, new songs and experiences like trips to the farm, cinema, Bollywood dancing. He’s really happy there and we hope to keep him in SPS long term.
Thank you very much for leaving us such a lovely review.
My son has been at Sunflowers Nursery since Sept 2022 and is now in 'Petals', the class before they start reception. The standard of the nursery is absolutely incredible, there is nowhere better in the area to send your children. All the children are so happy and well cared for, the meal options are delicious, and the facilities are fantastic. There is a lot of outdoor space and the children take part in PE lessons, cooking, music classes, forest school and visit the school library, and pictures of the children's activities are shared with parents so you can see what they have been up to. Our entire family are absolutely delighted with SPS Sunflowers Nursery and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!
We appreciate your review on our nursery, thank you very much.
My eldest child went through two years at the nursery, and now my youngest child is in his last term there. I have always been very happy with everything about it. The facilities and provisions are great, the staff are so good at what they do, and the children have loved their time there. They have really blossomed both academically and in self-confidence.
Thank you very much for leaving us such a lovely review.
We are very grateful for the wonderful care and attention our child receives at SPS Nursery. We have been consistently impressed by the level of professionalism and support from everyone, from teachers to admin staff. We also appreciate the regular updates we receive about our daughter's progress. Overall, our daughter truly enjoys the nursery, all fun and educational activities, the delicious food prepared onsite, and the friendship she is building not only with other children but also with SPS staff. Thank you, SPS so much for all you do!
The children learn excellent skills and the teachers track their development in every area! Amazing school and amazing staff. The hours are perfect and communication from the school is always open! We will never find another nursery like this, as we’ve attended a few settings where my child was unsettled. He has made friends and the staff support him so much! They have excellent resources and very creative activities set for the children. Great affordable fees which are so much better than day nurseries!
My son has attended the nursery for over a year and I have noticed a huge improvement in his confidence. I also felt his communication and language rapidly improved after joining this nursery. The staff are really caring and know my son well. The activities and environment is wonderful, the staff have organised lovely events to involve parents (for example, stay and play sessions, Mother's Day, Father's Day, spring festival assembly and a Christmas production). I also noticed from the previous year there was a good transition process and preparation for nursery children going into reception. The nursery are teaching numeracy and phonics to prepare the children for reception which is positive and my son enjoys this.
My child was supported very well in all areas.
The structure of their day was clearly planned and executed very well, with lots and indoor and outdoor activities.
They have a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Thank you very much for leaving us such a lovely review.
We currently (2021) have my younger child attending the nursery full time, and he absolutely loves going in every single day with a big smile! The nursery teachers are fantastic, and everything has gone smoothly for both our children. The transition between the nursery and reception is pretty much smooth sailing. We are always updated with lovely photos of daily activities, forest school, cooking, music and much more. The nursery has maintained a very high standard of cleanliness during Covid.
Both our children have bloomed here with their speech, manners, independence, confidence, and most of all, their happiness to be part of the nursery and school.
I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is looking for a nursery for his or her child.
Thank you so much for leaving us such a lovely review!
He has recently started reception there, and we barely noticed the transition as he was already so familiar with the school. He is having a wonderful time!
I have two more children, who will also be going here, and they just can't wait, nor can we!
Thank you for such a wonderful review! We also can't wait to have the rest of your family join us.
