Kindergarten Kids Day Nursery provides five-star childcare for your little VIPs in fantastic, newly refurbished premises right beside Londonderry Park in Newtownards.
They care for babies from as young as 12 weeks up right up to after-schools in P7 Mon- Fri 7.30-6.30pm.        

VIPS need Very Impressive Playrooms to ensure they reach their full potential. The nursery's rooms are carefully designed to meet the age-appropriate development needs of each and every child.
        
Kindergarten Kids is there for each stage of your Child's journey as they grow and progress through each of the rooms. Each of the rooms is equipped with resources and toys perfectly matched to their stage of development.

Your child is looked after by caring staff who organise age-appropriate activities and will monitor your child's progress to ensure they are meeting their milestones and give you regular updates on their progress. The nursery is run by a team of caring, qualified and experienced nursery professionals who provide structured, safe, caring and stimulating environments to enrich children’s overall development with encouragement of independence, and social skills.         

The superb location on a main route in and out of Newtownards is convenient and allows us to use the fantastic facilities of Londonderry Park for daily walks and outdoor playtime.

They are available for Covid-safe show-rounds in the evenings after nursery closes where one of the experienced management team can show you their amazing facilities and answer all your questions.

Kindergarten Kids is a Gem!
Our 2-year-old son attends Kindergarten Kids, and we couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They've built a genuine connection with our son, and it shows in how excited he is
to go each day.


One of the standout aspects is the emphasis on creative play. He absolutely loves the painting sessions, arts and crafts, and all the hands-on activities that spark his imagination. It's wonderful to see him come home proudly showing off his creations-and even better knowing these experiences are helping his development in such meaningful ways.


The team at Kindergarten Kids are not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating. They've made every effort to understand our son's needs and personality, creating a space where he feels safe, supported, and inspired. We're so grateful to have found a place that nurtures both his creativity and confidence.

We have been so impressed with Kindergarten Kids since our daughter started in August. The girls in the Baby Room are all so kind and caring and have done an amazing job in helping settle our daughter into the nursery. We are so pleased with our choice of Kindergarten Kids and would highly recommend!

My daughter has only started recently and the staff have been great with getting her settled she loves going just doesn't like leaving me and they are great with her. We have also started potty training with her since she started and they have been a great help with getting her to go in nursery.

My son has not long started at kindergarten kids and I have noticed such a big change in him. He has become so interactive with other children, he is talking a lot more and has made so many new friends. The staff at kindergarten kids have made us feel so welcome and part of their family. At the start
my son was a bit nervous to leave my side, the staff at kindergarten kids keep me updated through out the day to let me know that he had settled and was happily playing. It gave me reassurance and I love that they keep me updated. My son loves going to day nursery and is excited when he sees his friends and the staff members. I highly recommended kindergarten kids to anyone, you are made to feel like part of the family straight away. I can't think the staff enough.

My boys have been attending kindergarten kids from (9mths and 1 yr) been usimg this nursery from 2022 and i absolutely adore it. The staff feel life family and both my boys love it. My eldest is always so excited to go in, my youngest is a bit more clingy and struggles at times leaving mummy but the
staff are so attentitive and he settles within minutes of me leaving. The meal plan is well thought out and michelle in the kitchen does a great job, management are so accomodating and try their best if you need extra days etc. My eldest struggled with his speech and the girls were so good trying to learn makaton etc to accomodate him, ive loved my time at kindergarten kids and will be sad for my elsest to leave next september.

We have sent both our kids here over the last 3 years and I couldn't fault the experience from the level of care and communication, the level of service in terms of pre school pick ups, to the additional events they put on throughout the year. The staff in particular are excellent, nothing is ever too
much trouble to them, the key point being the kids like going!

We are coming to an end in Kindergarten Kids at the end of the summer. My son has had such a warm, loving and gentle experience. He is older than most of the children now but still skips in as the staff tailor their play to his needs. We will miss everyone very much but will be back to visit for sure!

Staff are amazing and my daughter feels safe and comfortable with them. She's only in one day a week but everyone knows her really well. Always get updates and photos of her day, the information they provide on what she's had to eat that day is great to see.

My baby has just recently started and the amount of milestone she has hit in such a short period of time is crazy! There hasn't been one day that she has cried going in or coming out. The girls are fantastic and would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son has been at kindergarten kids since I returned to work, starting in the baby room & they were brilliant with him, communicating amazing with us & being so kind & helpful. He has recently moved to the toddler room & it couldn't have been an easier transition for him, the staff put us both to rest
with a gradual move & they have made it so fun for him. We have really enjoyed our time at the nursery & look forward to more years there.

My daughter has attended Kindergarten Kids for little over a year and has fit in so well with all of the children and the staff.


My daughter is always talking about her friends at Kindergarten and the activities she does with them. At Christmas time they had a meet and greet with Santa day, and

at Halloween they had a party, it's


Each morning she is enthusiastic about going in to see her friends and play, and she has developed a good bond with all of the girls who work there.


They do a great job looking after all of the children and I have noticed that my daughter has came on leaps and bounds in regards to her social and physical development and has progressed well in the Preschool Room. They do lots of fun activities such as taking them to the zoo and the shopping centre and local parks. It really is great to see so many fun activities behind held for the children.


I would highly recommend this childcare setting and I do believe it is the best in Ards.

My little one had been at Kindergarten Kids for over a year and all the staff are super. They keep parents up to date throughout the day with photos and details of what they are doing that day.
The staff are all amazing with the kids and my child has formed such a strong bond with all the girls in

My daughter has attended Kindergarten nursery since she was one. I am so sad this is her last year before starting school in September. She loves going to nursery, has so much fun and always talks about the girls who look after her. They are so creative in learning activities, take them out daily to
the nearby park for a walk, are so loving to my shy girl who has really came on leaps and bounds in confidence. They are so accommodating when I speak to them, send regular updates and are so patient with the children. 5 star nursery which I recommend to all my friends with young children.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 8 months old, and we've had such a positive experience throughout the years. The staff are always so lovely, caring, and attentive - it's clear they genuinely care about the children. She's now in the pre-school unit and absolutely loves it.
She looks forward to going in every day, and it's been amazing to see how much she's grown and learned in their care. I couldn't be happier with the support and environment they provide.
