Our son attended Maryam’s Curlew Street from the age of 2.5 years. He was genuinely loved and cared for by the wonderful staff. We found them to be very communicative, and we always felt up to date about his development, activities and growth. We always felt our son was safe in the care of the team
and they addressed any incidents (very infrequent!) honestly and openly. In our son’s time at Maryam’s, we could see a huge improvement in his language, social and physical skills. While there is no outdoor space, the team make a big effort to take the children out to local parks and for walks each day. We were all very sad to leave due to a relocation overseas and highly recommend the centre and its staff. Our son still talks about Maryam’s and the lovely team. We wish them well.

My daughter loves the nursery and she talks about the staff at home. I can see that they do a lot of activities during the day. All the staff are always kind and very helpful. My daughter has adopted a few behaviours that they have been taught in nursery like washing her hands, her face, brush her teeth
and say thanks and sorry. I think that the nursery can do more about outdoor activities. I would love if they can bring them regularly to the park, 2 - 3 times a week. I understand that there is all of the organisation on that but if the nursery does not have an outside space they have to find a way to replace it. The physical activity of the children and contact with nature is essential to their development! Movement is an essential factor in intellectual growth.

Our experience at Maryam's Nursery has been excellent. Our son joined when he was 12 months old, and we have seen him really develop. The staff are all extremely friendly and enthusiastic with the children, meaning he’s excited at drop off and happy at pick up. There is no outside space, hence the 3-star
review, but the children get taken on trips to different places every day, which makes up for it. The communication from the staff is very good, and the app means you can contribute to initiatives and activities to make the children and adults feel involved and included. The children progress to other rooms based on their development, which is great, as it means they are always being stimulated and encouraged to develop and socialise with children at their level, rather than being made to progress faster than they are ready to or held behind waiting for a particular date. Would thoroughly recommend.

Maryam's Nursery is fantastic. Our daughter has been going there for 8 months now and absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly and caring and have so much love for all the children. They organise different activities every day - arts, crafts and exploring outside and the food is varied and nutritious.
We are very happy with the nursery and couldn’t recommend it more.

The staff are extremely caring and friendly, we really feel that our son is in a loving environment. The activities are varied and change every day, and have really helped our child to develop his skills. The food is organic and healthy, which is another great asset. Management is really helpful and

We took a long time viewing all the nurseries in the local area and fell in love with Maryam’s and the team.
The settling in process was handled very well and most importantly our child loves being there.
They have a full time chef which prepares great meals.
We are very happy with Maryam’s and the
team and highly recommend it.

We are very happy with Maryam's Nursery and would definitely recommend it to all parents. Our little one needed time to settle in but Maryam’s teachers and management were very patient, kind, and nice. Our little one is very happy at the nursery now, loves the toys (all wooden and new), and has fun
with the teachers and friends. The daily update through the app is also very detailed and informative and gives us comfort.

We love Maryam's. The standard of care has been excellent, our son loves going there and settled really quickly. The staff are lovely and really helpful. The space is fantastic with lots to engage little minds. We really recommend it.

We are extremely happy with Maryam’s Nursery. Our son absolutely loves it, he is so happy when he arrives in the morning! We have been really impressed with the care and attention of the staff, especially during the settling-in period in which they took great care to ensure our son settled in well and
comfortably. Our son who is a very fussy eater at home always eats everything at nursery and loves the food there. We are kept constantly up to date with how his day is going as well as being sent pictures daily. We would absolutely recommend the nursery.

The nursery is very clean, has an amazing selection of toys and staff and management are on top of things. The activities they do are both fun and educational. The food is carefully selected. My son loves it there. In a space of a few weeks, his speech improved and he eats by himself now. Could not
recommend this nursery enough. Also, they use a parent app which is really good to track what my son did during the day.

Job Title: Nursery Owner

Azi Alamani is the owner and director of Maryam’s Nursery and has worked in early years care for over 10 years. Having grown up amongst the children her mother cared for, Azi experienced Maryam’s passion and dedication first-hand.


After completing a degree she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and took over the family business. Azi’s dedication and commitment to the children in our nurseries is immeasurable.
