Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School

My children have long since left this lovely nursery. However, years later I still say hello to some of the amazing ladies who took care of them. They remember my name and my my sons' and what they were like. High staff turnover is such a problem in some nurseries but this one manages to retain some great people for years and years. Thank you for giving my children the best start to their education.

I have recommended the nursery to many friends and would recommend it to everyone looking for a safe loving environment for their child to flourish. Thank you, Cornerstone staff and management.

Our daughter has been at Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School since she was 7 months old. Having the confidence to leave a child that young in the hands of the Cornerstone team is probably the strongest testimony of how much we trust their staff. They are an incredibly caring and professional nursery team that is absolutely adored by our 1 year old daughter!

My son has been attending Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School since the age of 1 and has been placed in the baby room. He is now nearly 2. My experience with Cornerstone has been exceptional. Right from my son’s setting in sessions you felt such a warmth and genuine passion from the staff. They all go above and beyond every day. They host so many interesting activities and events relevant to different things that happen throughout the year. They always make such an effort. We are provided with reassuring updates via an app throughout the day, including photos, nappy changes, sleep times and a food diary. My son has flourished over the past 8 months and he loves attending. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice in nurseries. Well done Cornerstone!

I feel comfortable and safe leaving my child there and she is developing in confidence day by day. The nursery leaders are excellent from the manager through to the head of learning. Additionally, I feel confident that the team have been promoted internally and that there is a stable staff base (compared to other nurseries).

They are very caring, loving and hard-working. They love their job and do it with pride. The managers are also very helpful. My son likes the place, he has improved tremendously with the support of the staff.

Lovely nursery and preschool with caring, fun staff. Great outdoor space. I’ve had two children at the setting over the past five years and have been impressed by the low staff turnover and the way they go above and beyond to stimulate and engage the children. Our kids have made great friends there and it’s rare to see any of the children looking bored or unhappy.

The carers really make Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School a great place and our child loves going there. They provide lots of activities inside and out. We get lots of pictures throughout the day. Really glad we decided to send our child here.

I have only positive things to say about Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School. The staff are all wonderful, bringing such care, thought and fun to looking after the children, focusing on their development, attuned to their needs and feelings, and encouraging the independence and resilience they will need for the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone, and would love to pass on my huge thanks to every member of the team!

My son has been at Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School for nearly 2 years, arriving at ten months old. I only have good things to say. The staff are lovely and they all know every child in the building. The activities are well planned and educational. They manage behaviour very well and issues are raised early. The only thing which could be improved is the outside space but being a London nursery I know this is trickier and they do take the children on day trips to the park when the weather is fair. A lot of effort is put into special events, charity days, Christmas performance etc, it's a lovely and thoughtful environment.

The staff and management are lovely and very welcoming.

Our daughter has been at Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School for a year and we really love the nursery. The staff are so caring and committed and go above and beyond for the children. The range of activities is fantastic, and our daughter always arrives home bursting to tell us what she has been up to. The staff are “on it” with any issues and have created a lovely environment where our little girl is thriving.

We have put our son into Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School for five years and really are very happy with how things have worked out. The staff are lovely and really do their very best for the children. If there has been an issue raised they have not ignored us and have been 'on it'. So this is key for us. We feel very happy and secure leaving him there. The garden area has improved and we think overall things have got better - which is the best way around! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and put any other children we have in!

The care provided by Cornerstone from before her first Birthday right up until her final days as she prepares for school life has been outstanding. My child has flourished in an environment where she is cared for and she is a happy and content child. She has learnt a vast array of educational topics, social skills and simply understanding the world around her. With extra needs, I couldn't have been happier with her being anywhere else as she has been looked after attentively and compassionately. I thank each and every staff member for being a part of her amazing journey at Cornerstone. Very happy and grateful parent.

Cornerstone Day Nursery & Pre-School is an excellent nursery. The staff are gentle, kind and nurturing and genuinely care for each and every child. They adapt their care to each child's needs and go out of their way to make the nursery experience a positive when. When my son started there he had never fallen asleep independently - they cuddled him to sleep every day for weeks. That sums up their approach, in my mind. Facilities are excellent, management are engaged and approachable and the children are happy. It's a wonderful place, it really is.
