Opened in October 2021, Kids Planet Winnington is a brand new and purpose-built nursery that provides childcare and education for babies through to preschool. The nursery features large, open plan rooms, outdoor play areas as well as a state-of-the-art sensory room. Parents will benefit from opening hours between 7am and 7pm, which allows for flexibility. At every Kids Planet nursery, the focus is on the children's interests and staff go above and beyond to enable each child to learn and grow in the way they want to.

My little boy started Kids Planet Winnington in September 2025 after my maternity leave came to an end. The staff were all very welcoming towards both me and my son. They assigned a key person to support my son whilst he attends nursery and he absolutely loves her. The girls are all very friendly and
professional. The nursery is always very clean and homely which is reassuring as it gives a home from home feel. The management team are easy to approach and very helpful with any advice or information we require as parents. Keep up the amazing work, you're all doing a great job.

Our little boy started at Winnington when he was 8 months old and has been thriving since. He loves being there, the staff are fantastic and supportive of us when leaving him behind was scary for all of us.
We love the app, staying in touch with him through the day with pictures and updates.
Little
boy gets crafts, outdoor time, trips outside and lots of attention - the staff can always spot when progress is being made on a milestone.

A friend recommended Kids Planet to us when we were looking for a nursery for our son as I was heading back to work after maternity leave. It was the best decision we ever made and we can't recommend them enough. As first-time parents, we were anxious about leaving him with people who were once strangers,
but they have been truly incredible. He has settled in so well and really enjoys his time there. There's so much for the children to engage in, such as outdoor play, messy play, and endless fun creative activities, not to mention the different areas within the room for them to explore and use their imagination. If you're looking for an outstanding nursery, look no further than Kids Planet.

I have nothing but praise for this fantastic nursery. My little boy started age 2 and a half and he was welcomed so well by the staff. They helped massively with his potty training ready for preschool. He has made lovely friends and is always excited to go to preschool (most days asks to go). The staff
are friendly, understanding and non-judgemental. They go above and beyond with the enrichment activities and special events they put on. They have just held the most fantastic graduation party for all the families and children. The amount of time and money that went into putting that on and my little boy was blown away. Amazing job and I am gutted to be leaving!

I've been so happy with how well my daughter has settled at Kids Planet Winnington. It takes a lot for a parent to leave their child for a day at the nursery, but the staff are friendly, and they value, respect and honour the children in their care. The nursery is a second home to my daughter and not
that her graduation is done, I know she will miss Winnington. Thank you so much.

My son is just changing from Tots Room to Toddlers and the change was smooth and well coordinated. I was informed that the change was gradual which made everything easy for my child. This is just an example of the good job of the nursery. Another example is that he just needed an antibiotic to be taken
after his nap and kept in the fridge. Again, the team at the nursery took all these requirements without issues. Maybe this is standard across the sector but it feels good when is been done right.
Lastly, in the tot's room, my son picked his favourite carer and she was amazing. The lead carer of his room was also great. It feels good to get to the room and get all the info about your son and his development. Again, it might be a standard thing, but my feeling is that is been done right.

We have been extremely impressed with Kids Planet Winnington, it really is a fantastic nursery. Our son absolutely loves going there and his development has progressed such a lot which is credit to the hard work, patience and dedication of the amazing staff who genuinely care about the children. The
facilities are brilliant and the variety of food is excellent too. We also really enjoy receiving regular updates and photos of our son taking part in the activities via the app. The location is perfect too with it being based in Winnington Village as we live around the corner so we can easily walk to and from the nursery. We would highly recommend this nursery, thank you to everyone who makes this nursery such a special place.

Since my son joined the nursery all the staff have been so kind and welcoming and have been excellent with the development of my son and he is very settled. All the staff have been so understanding and helpful during the teething and injection phases. They have helped me adapt his schedule to fit both

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet Winnington since she was 9 months of age and she loves it. All the staff are so friendly in every room. Even if your child is not in that room any longer or not yet joined the room, all the staff know the children and it’s very warming knowing your child is
in a safe nurturing environment every day.
During the Christmas holiday, my daughter and I were involved in a car accident, when nursery were informed they sent their regards and when my child went back to nursery they ensured she was well looked after, sensitive to her needs and that friends and family collecting her on my behalf were who they say they were by maintaining safety and safeguarding procedures via passwords.
They always asked how my daughter was coping and myself. We get regular updates on appropriate and engaging activities, great outdoor space although small, is well thought out with lots of resources. The kind and enthusiastic hearts of every staff member make it a special nursery.

All of the staff are friendly and approachable. The nursery is always clean. Massive thanks to four members of staff in particular who are always open to conversations regarding my twin boys' progress and anything they may struggle with. Open dialogue with what works for them and what works at home
is always welcomed. Very loving and supportive family feel to the setting. I’ve no doubt that my boys are in the best of care.
Another three members of staff who the boys used to be with are always lovely too

My child is in the baby room and I can't speak highly enough about it, he started when he was 3 months old and he's now 9 months old, they've given me such confidence in someone else looking after my baby and also brought him on leaps and bounds.

Great nursery, they do lots of different activities with the children and make sure they get lots of time outside. My little boy loves going there and looks forward to it every morning!
The meals are always changing to give them a wide variety which means he is trying new foods.

The staff are so friendly, particularly in the preschool and toddler room that my daughter attended. She enjoys the range of teaching, including of different cultures. The staff care about not only the child but the family also. Parents' evenings and information are informative and the app is used well

Our 12-month-old son is in his second month in the baby room at Kids Planet Winnington, the staff are absolutely fantastic! We receive regular updates during the nursery day which is fantastic. We have also been really impressed with the variety of activities the children get to experience whilst at
nursery, they also go out for little trips in the pram which is brilliant! Every member of staff in the baby room and the office knows ours and our son's names which also gives a really personal experience. The nursery was very flexible when we had to delay our son’s start date, due to illness, and were very patient with his settling-in days. Also need to mention the choice and standard of food on offer which is superb and our son always eats his lunch, sometimes two helpings. We are extremely happy with Winnington Kids Planet!

My son has attended this nursery for two years and moved through each of the rooms, so we have got to know all the staff very well. Throughout his time there, I have been thrilled to see the high levels of care and attention shown for all the children. The nursery truly treats each child uniquely, taking
into account their own needs and likes. I receive frequent updates throughout the day, meaning I am fully informed of what activities are taking place or what food is being served for lunch. This means we can have family discussions each evening about what has happened in our day. A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff and management team for all they do.

The preschool team helped my child settle into her first nursery settling so well. Communication was amazing from them and also the manager. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There is constant communication throughout the day about food and activities.

Our little boy started when he was 10/11 months old and has come on leaps and bounds during his time there. In each room, the staff have been lovely and provided the best care/attention and learning environment. All staff, including management, are friendly and approachable and always happy to help
with any queries. I would highly recommend this nursery and will be gutted when our little boy has to move on.

Wow, so impressed on arrival, lovely, friendly staff and a beautiful environment. Great to see the children being able to play inside and outside.
The safety of visitors arriving is brilliant. The manager greets us at the door, and lots of information is clearly visible for each room. Love the library
and sensory areas. Wish I was small again!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am originally from Essex, which is where I completed my CACHE Level 3. I then attended Manchester Metropolitan University at the Cheshire campus, where I achieved my BA(hons) degree in Education and Early Childhood Studies. I have worked at Winnington since we opened, and I am looking forward to welcoming all the new families and continuing to support the children on their journey.
