Tiddlywinks Nursery Walmersley

My daughter has been attending this nursery since April 2024. At the beginning she really struggled with adjusting being away from me but the staff in her room were so patient with her and set up a plan to slowly get her used to her new setting at her own pace. After the settling in period she started to really thrive, making great relationships with the staff in her room as well as socialising with children in her age group. All staff that have cared for my daughter have been fantastic and just ooze with care for the children they care for. The new activities that are set up in the children's room everyday ensure a fun learning experience. Management are always helpful and friendly and answer any questions you may have. What I also like about this nursery is that each month they have a few days dedicated to something encouraging the children to dress up, wear a certain colour or accessory which gives the children something to look forwards to.

I had changed my child's nursery and since starting at Tiddlywinks Nursery my child has come on in leaps and bounds. He has developed in a short space of time. He loves going to nursery as the staff are so friendly and caring. I find the staff easy to talk to and very welcoming and always make me feel at ease. Fantastic nursery highly recommend.

My daughter has attended this nursery just over a year now. From the minute she started, I felt comfortable leaving her knowing she was going to be well taken care of. The detail on handovers at the end of the day and sharing updates of what my daughter gets up to on a daily basis, is great to see. She recently went on a trip to Manchester City Centre, which was great for her to experience. She always talks very highly of pretty much all of the nursery staff (anyone she has come across) and I have been able to see where staff have really made the effort to bond with my daughter. I would be more than happy recommending this nursery. Our experience has been amazing.

My son has attended Tiddlywinks since he was seven months old, they have always gone above and beyond for his care. He has additional needs both learning and medical and the girls have always kept him safe. The care that they have given my boy has been amazing. They have been a support network for both me and my little boy. I can't thank them enough, his face when I pick him up from nursery is a picture he enjoys every day he's there and the attention and care to detail the staff give the children is just amazing. The warm welcoming atmosphere each day we attend allows me to leave my son there cared and looked after by an amazing group of people.

My little boy has settled into nursery so well, I felt at ease leaving him with the staff at Tiddlywinks as my eldest also attended and everyone is so lovely. My little boy has only been at nursery for a few weeks and already has such a lovely bond with his key worker, he is her little shadow. Thank you to everyone who has made his settling-in period so easy and relaxed.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to move our 18-month-old from his previous nursery to Tiddlywinks, straight away from our initial visit we felt at ease, all the staff are warm and friendly and treat our boy like their own. The app is brilliant, we're updated with pictures and development steps, putting us at ease while we're at work. The facilities are great and they have chickens which our boy is fascinated with. We highly recommend this nursery.

Since taking our daughter to Tiddlywinks she has developed so much, being around other children has been brilliant and the staff are excellent, we are kept up to date on what she gets up to during the day, everyone is friendly and I can't speak highly enough of everything.

All staff are very kind and caring and my daughter has settled into nursery so easily and is very happy there. She is always happy to be dropped off at nursery and I like that I can see what she is up to throughout the day with the updates on the app.

After visiting 5 different nurseries in the area for my 8 month old and not feeling the right vibe I decided to look a little further out to Tiddlywinks and I am so pleased I did. From the ambience in reception to meeting all the women who work there it is clear to see why they have an outstanding Ofsted report. They treat my son like their own and he absolutely adores them. Receiving regular pictures and detailed updates on his development is amazing. It’s truly so much more than just childcare. As someone who didn’t think I’d ever be able to leave my child in anyone else’s care due to anxiety, we have already increased his days from 2-3 and will be increasing to 4 as he gets older. We live hours away from any friends or family so Tiddlywinks has become our village and we are so grateful to them for giving our son an incredible environment to thrive.

My eldest child attended this nursery so I had no worries when my youngest child joined at 9 months old. The staff at the nursery are incredible, each one is so caring and I know my all my child's needs are met. Thank you Tiddlywinks Walmersley.

Our two children have been at Tiddlywinks Walmersley for six months now and we are delighted with our choice. Our children are happy, thriving, developing and excited to go in each day. The variety of activities and trips sets it apart from other childcare settings. The staff have formed close relationships with our children and go above and beyond in their care.

A great bunch of people who go above and beyond for the care of my daughter. Nothing seems to be too much, and they are all approachable. Have been great for advise throughout my daughters journey through the nursery.

When I looked around Tiddlywinks Nursery in Walmersley, it was a lovely experience. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, they were proud to show off their wonderful work and lovely environment. The nursery felt like a safe and happy place and ultimately this is why I chose it. My child started in February 2024 and has really settled in. The ladies are lovely with her and welcome her in with a smile every morning. The app is amazing as it keeps you up to date throughout the day! On collection, the handover is amazing, very detailed and informative. My child is very happy here and enjoys going to nursery.

Fantastic nursery. My daughter who is 19 months and in the baby room loves it here. The staff are always kind, caring and helpful. They helped her settle in so well and she is thriving thanks to the nursery. My 6-year-old daughter uses the out-of-school club which she loves. The nursery has allowed me to work knowing both my children are in safe hands.

Amazing staff all around never fail to cater to my child's needs! Even more so with his condition. A safe place for my child other than home. All staff communicate fully and let me know what goes on at all stages of the day good and bad

All members of staff are incredible and are all loving and caring towards my daughter. I wouldn’t want my daughter going anywhere else. The value for money is brilliant, they catered to my daughters milk allergy.

My baby absolutely loves coming into nursery, she gets excited every morning she is in, she has built lovely bonds with all the ladies in the room and try’s to say there names. She has come on so much since starting and learnt so much!

nursery is Good and safe.. kids are happy.. some staff are very jovial and have patience to talk to parents.. kids are engaged in good activities.. and are learning well.. kids are taken care of well with individual needs..

They are all the best! They care so much about the well-being of your children the education is brilliant my little one has learnt so much and more importantly they have allowed her to go at her own pace. Making me feel at ease that I’m not doing anything wrong. They have shown my little girl how to care for animals by having chickens, rabbits and a tortoise which I believe is something that should be encouraged at a young age. They do stay-and-play sessions so we can spend time understanding what they do and it gives us an opportunity to play with them. They also do parent gatherings to give us an overview about how our child develops when I speak to my friends their nursery doesn’t do these things. It’s very homely and feels like myself and my little girl are part of one big family.

Fantastic care to my little one and older one in after school club and they love it there. Very friendly staff who work very hard. I couldn't be happier with the service the Nursery provides. Good communication
