Bardfield Montessori Day Nursery

My son has had a very positive experience at Bardfield Montessori, and I am grateful for the care and support he has received. It has been wonderful to see him become more confident, independent and able to express his feelings and needs. He has also made excellent progress in his learning and often comes home excited to share something new.

His key worker was kind, patient and encouraging, and all the staff took time to understand his needs and help him feel settled. The wide variety of activities gave him many opportunities to learn, be creative and develop through play. Communication was consistently good, and I appreciated the regular updates on his progress.

Bardfield Montessori has given my son a happy and positive start to his education. He leaves with greater confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning. Thank you to all the staff for the important part you have played in his early years.

They kept us up to date with photos every day on the app which I always appreciated. They have a beautiful large garden area which was important for us as our child loved being outside. Forrest school was also a huge hit and not something I've known other nurseries to do. My child has thrived here, made so many beautiful memories and friends and I think I'll miss it just as much as she will. I would happily continue paying for nursery if I could keep her here longer x

We 100% recommend Bardfield to anyone looking for a Montessori Nursery! Our daughter has spent the last two years here and I can honestly say that it was the best decision we could've ever made! The dedication and care from every staff member is unmatched - they took their time with every aspect of our little ones Early Years journey, which allowed her to thrive. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with so much space for the children to explore and be "hands on", with mud kitchens, a huge sandpit and a sensory garden. The freedom to interact with different activities that are set up in the classroom and outdoors allowed our daughter to grow her own interests and let her creativity shine. Thank you so much Bardfield for being the stepping stone to our daughter's life journey!

They are incredible at dealing with all different types of children, key workers are very close to the children and my son made some friends hopefully for life. Thank you so much.

The experiences the children are given are amazing too. From regular Forest School sessions to exciting trips out on the minibus, there are so many opportunities for them to explore, learn and build confidence beyond the classroom. Our son has been here since he was 1, starting in the baby room. Emotions were high when I had to go back to work but the manager and her team made it so easy for us both to adjust to our new routines. They helped us to transition with settling in sessions and the staff are just so friendly and welcoming. Even though your child has a key worker, all the nursery staff take an active role in the development of your little one. You get regular updates throughout the day with pictures and details of the amazing food the children are eating - they will eat better than you! Activities are incredible for the children. My boy is now 2.5 years old and just loves going to nursery. He has his 'best friends' there and has such a great bond with them. If you want your child to experience the most amazing learning, nurturing and supportive environment, then Bardfield Montessori Day Nursery will encourage all of this. Well done to the manager and the team, we are so lucky for our son to be part of your wonderful nursery.
