Banana Moon Day Nursery Bridge of Don

I can't speak highly enough of Banana Moon Bridge of Don. The team and manager always consistently go over and above in their service delivery. My son has been there for about a year now after coming from a nursery where we had a terrible experience, and we have recorded significant and visible improvements to his development since his time in Banana Moon BOD and we owe an eternal debt of gratitude to the manager and her team. I will recommend 100%!!

Having experienced a number of private nursery settings, never have we experienced the care, compassion and warmth that Banana Moon offer when caring for my baby girl! Nothing is ever too much work, this shows through their late night response to communication and attention to individualised care. Fantastic management and staff that go above and beyond at any opportunity. Truly faultless and a privilege to be part of the community.

Couldn't have asked for a better nursery! My son started Banana Moon 6 months ago at just 9 months old. I moved him from a different nursery which was by far the best decision I could have made. My son suffers from several allergies - cow's milk allergy, salmon & pepperoni allergy as well as a really bad washing powder allergy. Since he started Banana Moon, he has had ZERO outbreaks. The whole nursery have gone above and beyond to make sure they can cater for all his allergies. The bond between the staff is something special. You become part of a family and you can feel the love they have for your child. Our son loves going to nursery and most of the time, doesn't want to come home. Especially if he is with two of the staff members! The manager is outstanding. No matter how big or how small an issue or question may be, she is there and will go out of her way to help. Highly recommend this nursery!! We will be keeping our son there until he starts primary school.

The facilities are great and has a lovely outside play area.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. The manager and the staff made my daughter feel very welcome and the settling-in week really put her at ease. The management and staff are all so friendly and my daughter seems to be really flourishing. There's a great variety of activities offered and the play areas are really wonderful. Thanks again for such a brilliant service. You can tell the management and staff really love what they do.

I would like to give my highest possible recommendation for Banana Moon Day Nursery Bridge of Don. Our son has had a great experience ever since joining it. The staff are very friendly. My son was initially struggling to go to nursery but, over time, he has started to enjoy playtime there. He looks forward to going to nursery. Special mention goes to the manager who is an angel and goes beyond her call of duty, she works very hard and ensures the well-being of everyone. I would have no hesitation to recommend a child to this nursery.

My son has just finished up at Banana Moon after 4 years to head to school. He absolutely loved it there. The staff are amazing, my son was always loved and cared about. The management is fantastic, they do everything in their power to make all feel welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

Our little girl is thriving. I don't ever feel worried about dropping her off as the app is great at keeping me updated about her day and any concerns or things to note are sent as a message in a timely manner. My daughter has been going to Banana Moon Bridge of Don since May 2021. She didn't even speak yet and she is leaving nursery (to start P1) a smart, confident and well-rounded young girl. Banana Moon truly is a family. They know each child's strengths, and weaknesses and focus on both. They keep parents updated via the app and we're lucky to receive photos throughout the day as well. As parents, we're away from our child for at least 8 hours a day and we have full confidence and comfort knowing she is being taken care of while learning fundamental life skills, playing with friends, eating healthy and well-balanced meals, and even visiting the local care home. We're proud and so thankful we chose Banana Moon for our daughter's nursery years.

The staff are so friendly and caring. I have twin girls attending this nursery, and the level of care they are provided is excellent. I love the daily updates and the more detailed chat at pick-up. The manager is very welcoming and accommodating.

The team at Banana Moon Bridge of Don are outstanding. Second to none! We were welcomed into the Banana Moon family from the second we enquired into a space for our son. Management bent over backwards to support our requirements, which we did not get from any other nursery. The building is always clean and well-presented, and investment continues to be made to improve the facility for the children. Our son is fed healthy fresh meals which is good for his growth. The care and dedication from the team to ensure the children are learning as well as having fun is why they are the only nursery I have recommended in the Aberdeen area. Providing free extra activities outside of normal working hours to build a family community is another reason they are streets ahead. Banana Moon are on the higher price of Aberdeen nurseries but they are worth every penny. I would not have my son looked after by anyone else after receiving the loving care which the team at Bridge of Don provide. Thank you!

When joining Banana Moon we became a part of the family, not just another parent, the staff genuinely care for the whole family, and are welcoming and friendly all the time. I could not recommend the nursery enough, our little one has thrived and developed so much in the time here, it’s amazing!

First-class nursery. Our dear son has been going since he was 9 months old. And has been known to not want to go home at the end of the day. The staff are amazing caregivers and very professional, they have our complete trust that he is being cared for and given the attention and stimulation he needs to grow and prosper.

Banana Moon Bridge of Don is an excellent nursery. The staff there are very professional and well trained. Since my daughter joined the nursery, this has positively impacted her behaviour, skills and wellbeing. She is happier now and very keen to go to nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic, know how to deal with every child according to their needs. They are very enthusiastic. They actively listen to you. The manager of the nursery is a very caring person who focuses on everything, even the tiny details to make sure all aspects of care are appropriately provided. The staff are always smiling and kind. The social interaction and communication skills of my daughter have greatly increased. I believe that is mainly because staff were keen to actually take the time and effort to encourage her, teach her, be patient with her and provide her with all resources e.g visual stickers to help her understand and express herself more and more. The setting of the nursery is amazing, homely and very cosy.

No words are enough to describe Banana Moon Nursery at Bridge of Don. First of all, it’s a brilliant location at a safe distance from the main road in a green, beautifully designed, quiet location. The new modern building is an excellent recent addition to the facility. The staff are very dedicated, providing all the love and care to precious little humans. It makes parents feel safe and at peace, knowing their child has the best possible care in a clean environment. Management is exceptional and always available with a smile for any queries. I cannot recommend this outstanding nursery enough!

My son has recently moved to the toddler room from the baby room. The transition process has been great and the communication has been excellent. The room facilities are great and they really make great use of the outdoor areas also.

Our daughter loves the nursery and to be honest it is like her second home. She jumps and screams when she sees the staff and other kids on every single arrival to the nursery. We had a very traumatic experience from our previous nursery so Banana Moon Day Nursery Bridge of Don made a massive change for us! Their outdoor space and newly built Full Moon Room is just stunning. Every single member of staff is lovely and professional. The manager of the nursery is like the kid's second mom, she is very carrying, profesional and understanding. Simply said, Banana Moon is the best nursery in Aberdeen and we are very lucky and happy to be part of it.
