Banana Moon at the Bridge of Don opened on the 10th of August 2020 after a vast renovation and moderation. They have light and airy rooms to promote a cosy and friendly atmosphere and a warm nurturing space. They have enclosed gardens attached to the nursery buildings.

The staff team is eager to help raise the attainment level in Scotland whilst ensuring a child quality childcare and support network for families. Children have free flow access to the nursery's enclosed and high quality outside learning space which offer fun and child-led experiences.

My son has just finished up at Banana Moon after 4 years to head to school. He absolutely loved it there. The staff are amazing, my son was always loved and cared about. The management is fantastic, they do everything in their power to make all feel welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My little girl attends Banana Moon 2 days a week. The settling-in process for her was amazing, she attended 6 sessions which progressively got longer to allow her to adjust to the nursery and the staff.
The staff here are amazing, my little girls loves all of them. She has so much fun on her days in
nursery.
As a parent, I also love the app, where I get updates on her day and pictures which isn't normal at all other nurseries.
We are so glad we picked Banana Moon.

Our little one has been attending Banana Moon at Bridge of Don for 6 months now and we absolutely love it. The care and attention the staff show the children is just amazing. Our little girl is thriving. I don't ever feel worried about dropping her off as the app is great at keeping me updated about
her day and any concerns or things to note are sent as a message in a timely manner. We love Banana Moon!

My daughter has been going to Banana Moon Bridge of Don since May 2021. She didn't even speak yet and she is leaving nursery (to start P1) a smart, confident and well-rounded young girl. Banana Moon truly is a family. They know each child's strengths, and weaknesses and focus on both. They keep parents
updated via the app and we're lucky to receive photos throughout the day as well. As parents, we're away from our child for at least 8 hours a day and we have full confidence and comfort knowing she is being taken care of while learning fundamental life skills, playing with friends, eating healthy and well-balanced meals, and even visiting the local care home. We're proud and so thankful we chose Banana Moon for our daughter's nursery years.

The staff are so friendly and caring. I have twin girls attending this nursery, and the level of care they are provided is excellent. I love the daily updates and the more detailed chat at pick-up. The manager is very welcoming and accommodating.

The team at Banana Moon Bridge of Don are outstanding. Second to none! We were welcomed into the Banana Moon family from the second we enquired into a space for our son. Management bent over backwards to support our requirements, which we did not get from any other nursery. The building is always clean
and well-presented, and investment continues to be made to improve the facility for the children. Our son is fed healthy fresh meals which is good for his growth. The care and dedication from the team to ensure the children are learning as well as having fun is why they are the only nursery I have recommended in the Aberdeen area. Providing free extra activities outside of normal working hours to build a family community is another reason they are streets ahead. Banana Moon are on the higher price of Aberdeen nurseries but they are worth every penny. I would not have my son looked after by anyone else after receiving the loving care which the team at Bridge of Don provide. Thank you!

Our little one has been going to Banana Moon, Bridge of Don, for a year and absolutely loves it, the staff are incredible with all the children, taking into account their individual needs and interests and planning activities around each child to also encourage all children to participate. When joining
Banana Moon we became a part of the family, not just another parent, the staff genuinely care for the whole family, and are welcoming and friendly all the time. I could not recommend the nursery enough, our little one has thrived and developed so much in the time here, it’s amazing!

Our daughters have been going to Banana Moon Nursery at Bridge of Done since my wife's maternity leave ended, and we could not be happier with the place. Our girls have come along in leaps and bounds since they started in August 2023. The change in their happiness, abilities, characters, social skills
etc, has been so noticeable, and they have really found themselves since starting. The nursery ladies are absolutely wonderful with the girls, always so pleased to see them in the mornings and greet them with smiles.
They are well fed and looked after throughout the day, and I like getting the updates in the app, so we know how they've gotten on. Any minor accidents they have had (bumps or trips) have been notified immediately and very transparently, and we feel always that the girls are in safe hands.
We would fully recommend Banana Moon to anyone looking for a nursery.

First-class nursery. Our dear son has been going since he was 9 months old. And has been known to not want to go home at the end of the day. Banana Moon Bridge of Don is an excellent nursery. The staff there are very professional and well trained. Since my daughter joined the nursery, this has positively impacted her behaviour, skills and wellbeing. She is happier now and very keen to go to nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic, know
how to deal with every child according to their needs. They are very enthusiastic. They actively listen to you. The manager of the nursery is a very caring person who focuses on everything, even the tiny details to make sure all aspects of care are appropriately provided. The staff are always smiling and kind. The social interaction and communication skills of my daughter have greatly increased. I believe that is mainly because staff were keen to actually take the time and effort to encourage her, teach her, be patient with her and provide her with all resources e.g visual stickers to help her understand and express herself more and more. The setting of the nursery is amazing, homely and very cosy.

No words are enough to describe Banana Moon Nursery at Bridge of Don. First of all, it’s a brilliant location at a safe distance from the main road in a green, beautifully designed, quiet location. The new modern building is an excellent recent addition to the facility. The staff are very dedicated,
providing all the love and care to precious little humans. It makes parents feel safe and at peace, knowing their child has the best possible care in a clean environment. Management is exceptional and always available with a smile for any queries. I cannot recommend this outstanding nursery enough!

Our daughter loves the nursery and to be honest it is like her second home. She jumps and screams when she sees the staff and other kids on every single arrival to the nursery. We had a very traumatic experience from our previous nursery so Banana Moon Day Nursery Bridge of Don made a massive change
for us! Their outdoor space and newly built Full Moon Room is just stunning. Every single member of staff is lovely and professional. The manager of the nursery is like the kid's second mom, she is very carrying, profesional and understanding. Simply said, Banana Moon is the best nursery in Aberdeen and we are very lucky and happy to be part of it.

Fantastic nursery!
Our son joined after failing to settle at a previous nursery and within a couple of months we no longer had the drop-off tears and he was actually looking forward to getting in! Fast forward a couple of years and he absolutely loves going to Banana Moon.
All the staff have been
brilliant and their attitudes clearly demonstrate that they care about the kids within the nursery. One member, in particular, deserves a special mention. she always makes a fuss about our son and he adores her.
Banana Moon is our little man's second home and we love seeing the pictures and hearing the stories of what happened that day when we pick him up... after he's finished eating his car sweeties.

Absolutely amazing nursery! We had a very bad, (I would even say traumatic) experience with a nursery in England so I was very scared that my daughter will never settle in Banana Moon. When she attended the previous nursery, she was waking up many times during the night crying and begging us not to
send her there. Also, she was crying in the evening and morning when she knew she was meant to go there. This took over a month and a half almost. After 5 days in Banana Moon nursery she is settled, and happy to go to nursery, she doesn't cry and even wants to go on Saturday and Sunday. For me, as a mother, this says a lot about the nursery and its staff. I am delighted with the work ethic and attitude of all staff in the nursery. They are the most amazing, caring and kind people who are doing their jobs over 100% every day. I want to specifically speak about the nursery manager, who goes above and beyond to accommodate and help to make the nursery a second home for every single child.

Our baby has been attending the nursery since she was 7 months old. Despite the anxiety of leaving the baby with other people at a very young age, the Banana Moon Day Nursery Bridge of Don team helped at every step to make sure this anxiety is not justified. And it surely worked. Our baby is thriving

Our baby joined at 7-months. We've made our decision after looking into five nurseries with great reviews. The team here made us feel like they will approach safety, care, food and education for our baby as they would for a loved member of their own family. It's been 10-months, and we are convinced
we made the right choice. From day one, they have invested time, energy, patience, talent and care to stick to her routine and to help her grow healthy, happy and confident. Our baby is thriving. Last but not least important, when I found it emotionally difficult for me to leave our baby with other people, albeit professionals, the entire team showed me patience and empathy and helped me navigate that new phase.
