Our daughter started at Explorers Aveley just prior to turning two, back in 2021. As nervous parents (and starting during covid), the management and staff could not have supported us better in the transition!
Our daughter is now four and has absolutely loved being at Explorers. The space is lovely
and calming with everything they need. You can tell how considerate they have been with the toys/books provided and areas made up for the children. They take the children on outings regularly and absolutely adopt a child-centred approach.
Staff are caring and attentive and build a great rapport with parents, both at the door and via the Famly app. They listen to any concern and her key person is always updating observations and discussing progress and development.
We could not be more pleased with the setting, and most importantly, our daughter has always loved going and has thrived there. We’ll be sad to leave when she starts reception - but would recommend the setting to anyone!

Best Nursery in Town! I am very lucky that my daughter attends this nursery since October 2020. Amazing Staff, you can see how much they care about each child in the nursery. My son has only recently started at Explorers Aveley but we are already very impressed with the professionalism, kindness and commitment of all the staff. My son currently has special educational needs and is supported by outside agencies with his development and Explorers have been cooperative and
keen to work alongside them to help my son progress. They use the Famly App which is great to keep you updated on your little one throughout the day and seem to be happy to chat about any concerns you may have as they arise. They do plenty of activities with the children to keep them stimulated and provide a substantial meal at lunchtime. Due to my son's speech delay we were very apprehensive about him attending a nursery but the staff at Explorers have gone above and beyond to reassure us. My son looks forward to going and absolutely loves it there.

Lovely nursery, very friendly staff.
I love this nursery because they are not doing just the basics. They have PE class every week, they do phonics and meditation.
It has helped my daughter so much to improve her communication skills and to have a lot of friends.
I highly recommend it.

The staff are so nice, the accounts team are so helpful. I love that they take the kids for outings to purchase fruit and veg for example. They teach the kids to prepare food/cook, wash and dry up after themselves. No complaints.

Where do I start? I was told about this nursery and told nothing but good things. I sent my son there Sept 22, he has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are always sharing pictures (with my consent) on the APP. I see what he eats and any wow moments, no matter how big or small. They venture out to
parks and fruit stalls and make our children very independent. The staff are lovely and friendly. I had some personal issues and they have been so adaptable and caring! I wish I knew of Aveley explorers with my first born.

The most incredible nursery with amazing staff. They are super accommodating and reliable. They have an open door policy which is so important for when your little ones start. My daughter has been in this nursery since she was one and is now three years old. She has always been really settled, learnt
so much and is really confident. She has developed her speech so much through nursery and I never have worries about her being there. Even as a fussy eater, the staff really encourage her to eat well. Happy mum!
My son has recently started and I was really worried about how he would settle because he can be quite fussy. But given how amazing the staff and setting are, he has settled amazingly. He has taken so well to the new environment and even after his second session, he has started warming up to other people outside our small family! I couldn’t be more thrilled!
Thank you Explorers Aveley! You are honestly more than what any parent could ask for!

Where do I begin.. as a first-time parent I felt so anxious leaving my son in someone else’s care but within the first 2 days he had settled in so well and his face lit up every time we have taken him since. He was 14 months old fast forward to today he’s now 3 and our daughter is 1 and a half and she’s
also been attending the setting since she was 9 months old. They both love it.


Staff are caring and considerate of each child’s needs and attentive when required.
They’re easy to approach when you have a concern or need something to discuss.
My two like many toddlers are very fussy eaters yet at nursery, they eat everything. The app is very informative and is regularly updated so you know pretty much everything your child had eaten and done throughout the day. So reassuring.


It is with such a heavy heart that we have to leave but as we are relocating to Australia next week we know how to search for a new nursery there that our children will hopefully love just as much.

We are so happy we found Explorers. They are fantastic with the children and parents. Our son absolutely loves all of the staff, and so do we. They are always willing to help, very accommodating and always supper friendly.

Cannot fault this nursery, both my children love going and they have helped loads with my son's speech. The app they use is really informative as well. We are moving soon but will still travel to this nursery as I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

My child is always happy to be in nursery. All the nursery staff are really good with kids. They have different activities for child development. The kids learn a lot from the nursery. All the staff are outstanding and extremely nice people. Best nursery so far in the Aveley area.

I cannot fault this nursery at all, my little boy loves going. He always goes in and leaves with a big smile on his face, he has progressed massively in all aspects since attending. The staff are amazing and very friendly. I love that you get updates all throughout the day of everything they have done

My son enjoyed each day in that nursery. They are very creative with the activities and learning methods. The staff are friendly, and the management is great! They are always there to answer any questions. The food provided is very good. I would highly recommend this place for any parent!

My son started nursery in March 2021 after all lockdowns and just before his 2 nd birthday. He is loving it! The staff is very friendly; the place is clean and bright. They have a great menu, and the app keeps up updated on what he is doing during the day. Great value for money, and I will highly recommend

My child loves going to school. We, as a family, haven’t got a bad word to say about this nursery. My son had been to another nursery and would cry and not say a word. Since being here, his speech has professed so far. We can’t thank the staff enough!

Being a first-time mom, one of my worries was finding a very good nursery for my kid. Being away from him was something I wasn't sure I was ready for. But after finding this nursery, my worries disappeared. The nursery is everything I have always wanted for my kid. The staff are so welcoming, kind and
are always willing and ready to help in any aspect. The nursery is very clean and lots of stuff for the kids to play with. My son loves going to this nursery, and for the days he isn't there, he isn't happy, which shows how much he loves it there. I can go on and on if I have to!

What a fanatic nursery, lovely inside, lots to do and fantastic staff. I honestly can not recommend Explorers enough. My little boy didn’t settle too well at another nursery, and I received a recommendation to try out Explorers from our local children centre. They have been fantastic from the very start,
they took the time to listen to my concerns and offered a few more settle sessions than the standard 1 hour. Two weeks in, and we are making so much progress already, he walked in the other day and didn’t even look back. A big thank you to one particular lady, the amount of support you have offered already has been overwhelming.
If you are looking for a nursery who truly care for your child and will take all necessary steps to ensure they thrive, this is the nursery for you.

It's a new nursery. My son started 6 weeks ago and so far we are very happy about the experience. He is always very happy to go, learning new things and staff are very friendly and supportive with his development. The facilities are very well organised, very clean and tidy.
Highly recommended.
