Explorers Aveley

All of our children attended Explorers, and this August our youngest children left to begin their journey at big school. It truly marks the end of a very special chapter for our family.

We cannot praise the nursery enough. The environment is always exceptionally clean, welcoming and well maintained. The staff are absolutely amazing, caring, nurturing and dedicated to every child. They have made such a positive difference to all of our children's early years, and we will always be grateful for the love and support they have shown our family.

The outdoor experiences provided are fantastic, giving the children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn and have fun while enjoying the fresh air.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe and caring place for their child. We have had such a wonderful experience, and although we are sad to be saying goodbye, we will always look back on our time here with very fond memories.

Both my son and daughter attend this Nursery and me and my husband are very happy with their experience there. My children enjoy going to nursery and are happy going in and being picked up. I feel the members of staff have a lot of care for every child and are very attentive. They keep us updated with pictures and logging my children's meals and how much they have eaten. If there are any accidents that occur they inform us very quickly. They are also great at teaching my children new things and giving the children activities which allow them to express themselves. We are very fortunate to have got our children places at Explorers Aveley.

We now have our 3rd grandchild at Explorers and couldn't wish for a better nursery environment. Our grandson runs in with such enthusiasm and sometimes doesn't want to come home, he has so much fun. He has made good friends, is confident and loves every minute. A big thank you to the kind staff for making his days so enjoyable.

I couldn't ask for a better nursery and the support the staff have given my son . I'm sad he will be leaving soon . And wish the staff could all go with him to his new school . He loves every member of staff and attending . They all make a difference and are very committed to make sure the children learn ,have fun and kept safe . Thank you to all the staff .

My son started here just after he turned 2, he was a little reserved and not too happy about leaving me.. Staff have been consistently calming, kind and supportive and now he is happy to walk in for a fun session and comes out very smiley.. I feel the staff are very much there for the children and it's more than just a job, they care.. I am very impressed with everything - learning, communication, environment, staff, outings, hygiene, food, activities set up; everything! Thank you for what you have done so far :-)

My son has been attending this nursery since April 2026 and he has settled in fantastically. He has come out of his shell so much these past couple of months and progressed so well within his development and I couldn't thank the staff enough! Forever thankful and grateful for their hard work! Always clean tidy and kept updated everyday. Amazing overall!

My son has been attending Explorers for 6 months now. After having some bad experiences with nurseries in the past with my eldest son I was nervous to send our youngest, however he has settled so well and absolutely loves going to nursery! All of the staff are so kind and caring, it feels like children are being cared for by a family member. I feel like they have a very personal approach and like to link in with home, which is lovely. The whole nursery feels like one big family! The children go out exploring the local area most days and make use of the huge field next to them. We love the app used and receive updates and photos all day long. We have regular check ins with my son's key worker and he is absolutely thriving there and smashing the targets set for him. I have personally recommended explorers to friends and family and would to anyone considering the nursery.

We're very grateful to the team for the support they've given our daughter and for helping her grow in confidence and independence.

Our Daughter is part of the family at Explorers Aveley, she Enjoys her time at Nursery and always excited to go back to play and develop. The App is easy to navigate but requires some better functions personal to Children ( recommendation only) she loves going on outings and comes home talking about her day. Three staff members that stick out for us are Miss Jade, Miss Sarah and Miss Lianna

Ever since our little boy started at Explorers at the beginning of September, he has settled in quickly and seamlessly. We specifically chose this Montessori program because of its excellent reputation with babies, toddlers, and kids. The dedicated staff have not only made his days fun but have also shown great care towards all the children. Looking at the photos of his activities throughout the day is truly the highlight of my day. Knowing that I can drop him off and head to work without any concerns is a huge relief and fulfills every parent's wish. We are immensely grateful to the staff for the positive impact they have had on him in such a short period of time. When we pick him up, we see his smiling face every time - that's all we could ask for. A big thank you to the amazing staff at Explorers nursery.

My little boy started Explorers at the beginning of September and has settled in straight away and has loved every second and I put it down to the amazing staff that make their days so much fun and are so caring towards the children. Seeing the pictures of my sons day and what he has been up to is the highlight of my day and I can drop him off and go to work and have no worries which is what any parent wants. Can't thank the staff enough for what they have done for him in a short amount of time! He is even trying foods that he would never try at home which my husband and I are so grateful for.

Cannot fault this nursery. It took us a while to find one that we felt an instant connection with. From our first visit over a year ago, until now, it has completely solidified why we chose this nursery for our son (and daughter who will be starting in September). There are so many skills that our son has learnt whilst playing and learning at Explorers, and he has all the fun whilst doing so, the updates on the app show! Communication is perfect and the team are so welcoming and accommodating. 10/10 - highly recommend

The staff are amazing and always helpful. When my child had his settling period all staff were comforting towards him, which helped ease him into nursery. Highly recommend Explorers. Great nursery. The garden area is slightly small however having the park right outside is very beneficial.

Very happy with this nursery! My daughter was very attached to me, now she can't wait to go to the nursery. Very friendly and supportive staff, the app where I can see what my child does in real time is amazing!

I want to say thank you for the positive impact the nursery has had on my son over the past 3 years. I have observed significant growth in my child's confidence and development of knowledge. The nurturing approach of the staff has been invaluable and I truly appreciate that. Additionally, I am grateful for the detailed reports regarding his activities and learning process including moments when accidents occur. The communication provides me with reassurance knowing that my child is in capable hands. Thank you for providing him with such an environment filled with love and care.

A very welcoming environment that has helped my daughter to grow confidently. The staff are very nurturing. My daughter loved every day going there and she learned a lot. What I loved was that they were always doing something outside at the park, the forest, the shops, horses and the local market. These activities are brilliant for their little brains and encourage them.

My daughter has attended for nearly 1 year and has enjoyed every day that she attends The range if activities they do are great everything is well planned out. Communication with parents is good as well sometimes thats one of the hardest points but staff always tell you about your childs day and upload lots of piccys for parents to see overall would highly reccomend.
