The Railway Children's Day Nursery

This nursery is one of a kind. My daughter started recently and she absolutely loves it. I was nervous about sending her to nursery but the staff and the manager are so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel comfortable sending her here. It is a home away from home, my daughter never wants to leave when I pick her. They are always celebrating different events and always go above and beyond. Honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough.

The staff at the nursery are so lovely, they were so good at helping my son settle in at the nursery. The feedback we get in regards to our son's day is so good, and we get a communication book with all my sons day-to0-day activities, food, etc. Thank you, everyone; keep up the good work!

It's a very clean, neat environment with friendly staff, a very welcoming place for children and adults. My daughter loves/likes everyone at nursery, and the environment is so good. The place where they prepare food is clean for hygiene wise and a good environment.

My son attended this nursery when I first came to the area, while I was very apprehensive about putting my son into an unknown area, the staff made the whole process so easy for me and helped me through all my concerns. The whole environment is very uplifting and positive. The staff keep you well informed about your child’s daily activities, which are always comforting, and the overall progress of your child is recorded in-depth l. I would say that the nursery is unique in the amount of effort they put in to keep every festival from every culture and beliefs fun and exciting. They will always give every parent the time to walk and talk them through any questions they have. Very happy, keep up the good work!

My eldest son went to this nursery which made me confident to send my youngest son. As the baby of the family and a mommy's boy, it was hard sending him to the nursery, to begin with, but as I already knew the nursery, I was more than happy to send him. He loves it and as come on lots. Before going, he was a selected mute and now doesn't stop talking, the nursery is attached to a soft play, which they get daily use of, and freshly cooked hot meals, which I remember being shocked on as most nurseries that I looked around was serving sandwiches, even before the covid.

Amazing service’s, friendly and very competent staff. The children are constantly engaged, and they do exciting activities to keep the children envigorated at all times. They are constantly learning new things about different cultures and occasions throughout the year.

My daughter started the nursery when she was 5 months old. The family environment and loving staff made me feel at ease knowing she was safe. I would call at least twice a day on my breaks to see how she was. The staff are brilliant, they always go out for events and my best memory is 'Jamaica Day' where the nursery was transformed into a beach, filled with palm trees. As we walked in were given coconuts with straws. They look after the children well but also ask parents how they are and are always available to help. The play centre is a great resource as my daughter is very active. I also compared prices to local nurseries and the nursery is great value for money. Other local nurseries charge at least £100 a week more.

What a lovely nursery but how blessed are the children to have full daily access to the soft play centre? My son literally bounces out of bed on his nursery days to go to 'Humpty Dumpty nursery' and cries on his days off. All I ever hear about is the big blue slide - he tells everyone! But what I love most about nursery is their school-readiness program. They really work hard to ensure the children are ready for school both developmentally and emotionally. My son has learned to write his name, numbers, draw shapes and is even beginning to read! All credit is down to them and their hard work because honestly I am so shocked with the new knowledge or skills he comes home with, and more importantly, is that he loves learning because they always make it fun. We have only been here for a year and I am just amazed. They really are wonderful. Railway team, thank you so much. We really will miss you when we leave!!

My daughter has been going here for two years. Every day is different, and she has the best time creating beautiful memories. The staff so friendly, loving and fun. They do everything possible to provide the very best experience. I can't thank them enough for all of the support and wonderful memories. The nursery itself is beautiful, bright, clean and fresh and bonus... they have a huge soft play attached, which the children can use daily, as well as a lovely garden. It's just wonderful all-round!

Fantastic nursery with friendly and cheerful staff. My daughter loves it here, and they do so many activities. She has devoted so much in the past year and so many months at this nursery and the staff have helped me through a lot of personal stuff with compassion and professionalism.

I was so hesitant and full of anxiety about putting my little girl into child care, I had serious attachment issues! Luckily, I was fortunate to find this nursery. As soon as I walked in, I instantly had a “this is it” vibe, despite it being the first and last nursery I visited. My daughter has come on so much since starting; she absolutely loves it and settled in so well. The staff here are amazing; they always go above and beyond ensuring no two days are the same here! If you are looking for a nursery, I highly recommend this one. It's perfect, and they even capture all the best moments for us to look back on. Thank you for all that you do for my daughter.
