From the moment my eldest son joined at 16 months and my youngest at just over 10 months, Hedgehogs became more than just a daycare-it was a sanctuary, a second home where my children felt safe, loved, and supported.

The two ladies who run the nursery with remarkable professionalism. Their unwavering support and dedication have made all the difference, especially when my eldest was having a hard time at drop off, and I'm especially grateful for how they always went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, whether it was an extra day here and there or just offering a listening ear.

You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Keep doing the amazing work you do!

We love this nursery, our twins have been coming here since they were 11 months old. The staff are wonderful, the activities they do with the children throughout the day are brilliant. We love seeing what they've been doing throughout the day on the app. They have lots of outdoor time which the girls love. The food is really healthy and nutritious. The opening times are perfect for working parents. No mad rush in the morning before work and no clock watching during meetings in fear you'll be late! So happy with the foundation this nursery is setting for our girls future.

Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester has been a breath of fresh air for my son. Since joining Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester, we haven’t looked back. He has grown to become independent, talkative and the curiosity approach has expanded his imagination more than we could have hoped for. This nursery has given him so much confidence and he has a group of little people he calls his friends. The staff are friendly and always there to listen and to answer any questions we may have. He really has come on leaps and bounds since joining and we couldn’t be more thankful to the staff.

My daughter has been attending Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester since July 2020. The staff at the nursery are caring, knowledgeable and experienced. My daughter loves going there. She leaves home happy and returns excited to share what she has done during the day. I receive regular updates when I pick her up and get to see the activities on Tapestry, the nursery online portal that has photos, updates and a care diary. My daughter's speech has been progressing rapidly since she started nursery and I could not be more pleased with her progress. She is happy, adjusted and has made friends there. I would highly recommend Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester.

Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester is a high-quality nursery where both of my children are extremely well cared for. I have a three-year-old and a one-year-old there, two days a week and they both love going. I rarely even get a backward glance these days once the door it open. The use of Tapestry to see photos of what they get up to each day is handy, so we can have "how was your day" conversations with our three-year-old. The staff are professional, caring and well qualified. They have been very supportive in continuing things like EC (early potty training) from home, catering to our daughter's food intolerance's and easing our super-clingy son into nursery life, he is now right at home. I would (and have) recommended Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester if you're looking for a caring, stimulating and fun place for your child to spend their time when they're away from you.

Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester is just brilliant. The care of the staff is outstanding and their commitment to explorative learning and play is great, exactly what our daughter loves - she is full of stories of her day each time we pick her up.

My daughter absolutely loves it there and I know the staff really care for her and they have helped her grow into a confident, resilient and sociable little girl.

Don't send your child here. Please. Then perhaps we can up our daughter's days as the waiting list is so long! And quite rightly so. Our daughter has been coming here for 2 days a week since July last year and we are thrilled with the level of attention the staff pay to our specific family requests. She absolutely loves it and repeats everyone's names over and over and over again. All day long! The Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester setting is fantastic with the park just behind them and a kitchen big enough that the older children can get involved learning about food. The only negative is the wait at the front door that Covid has brought but they are making arrangements to address that issue. They stay open later than some of the others and there is barely any plastic in sight. The children are often playing and climbing outdoors and the daily updates with (blurry?) photos really sets your mind at ease. Even though the staff must work very long days they are always very cheery on pickup. We couldn't be happier.

Hedgehogs Rochester is a fabulous nursery and our young son is extremely happy here. So much so, that all weekend he recites to us the names of staff members and his peers, he enjoys all aspects of nursery life; learning, playing and interaction with other children. Every day is a new adventure!

I cannot rate them and thank them enough, sending him here was the best decision. Special mention to two staff in the Hogletts room, two very caring, patient and lovely ladies, always a joy to speak to and keep us posted of the kind of day our son has had and they also contact me on the app if he is having an off etc.

The location right on Jacksons Fields is ideal. The space is organised like a home, with life-like objects and no noisy, plastic toys at all and no digital distractions, and focused on as much time outdoors each day as possible regardless of weather. That reassures me as a parent that most of her day is spent in a wholesome, active and child-led environment - which we all know is much harder to achieve at home, especially in lockdown. I have heard it from many and can confirm that Hedgehogs is hands down the best nursery in and around the Rochester area.
