The Redbrick Day Nursery - Welford Road

The care provided by the staff at Red Brick Day Nursery is truly exceptional. Every staff member knows each child by name and consistently shows genuine warmth and care. They always seem genuinely happy to welcome my little one when I drop him off, which reassures me deeply.

I can't imagine any other nursery making me feel as confident and at ease, knowing my child is in such safe, nurturing hands. The staff never make me feel like my child is a burden or difficult to manage. Instead, they maintain a relaxed, warm, and caring environment that really makes the nursery stand out.

My child has recently started at Red Brick Day Nursery and I am really pleased with how it is going. From the offset, staff have been really welcoming and helpful when signing up and sorting paperwork. My daughter has settled in very quickly and I like the interaction between staff and parents at pick-up time. Having gone to another nursery previously, I am given more information about her day at pick-up than I ever have. I could not fault our experience so far.

It's our son's second home. He absolutely loves Redbrick Nursery. His key workers are incredible, nurturing and loving. We couldn't ask for a better place for our little boy's early development. Would highly recommend Redbrick Nursery!

The staff at Red Brick Day Nursery are all lovely, caring and want what's best for your child. The set up is lovely with a variety of different activities for the children to get involved in. After my daughter left the nursery to go to school we had no hesitation in sending our son here too.

As first-time parents the staff at Redbrick Nursery have been amazing, not only have they taken the time to help settle in our son but also make us feel supported as parents. It has only been a few months but we can see a difference already in how well he is doing there. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a nursery as the team are amazing.

A nursery that truly cares. When we first joined, I had some initial concerns about the care my 2-year-old daughter was receiving. However, I was positively surprised by how supportive and understanding the management team was. They took my feedback seriously, handled the situation with care, and ensured everything was resolved promptly and professionally. Since then, our experience has been fantastic. My daughter now loves attending the nursery and has truly thrived. The staff are nurturing, attentive, and committed to creating a positive environment where children can grow and enjoy themselves. It's been heartwarming to see her confidence blossom as she makes friends and participates in the wonderful activities they offer. The nursery's communication and dedication have given me complete peace of mind. All the women are so lovely, it is a nice atmosphere with attention to detail. My son is always happy when being dropped off here. Went to efforts to get me an extra nursery day a week which is much appreciated!

I have nothing negative to say about this nursery. This is my first child and going through this all for the first time it has been so easy and clear. All staff members are so nice and friendly and do an amazing job! Could not fault this nursery at all. I feel so at ease leaving my child there. No worries at all. Thank you ladies, you're amazing.

Fantastic nursery. Great communication. Daily updates and our son is developing so much it's incredible. He walks in in the morning and doesn't look back which shows me he feels safe and enjoys it. We are thrilled with their service and every single member of staff goes above and beyond to help, daily! They respect our choices with food habits and really help build on what we are currently working on at home with him. Can't thank them enough.

Redbrick is a wonderful nursery, we have never had any issues and both my children have always had a lovely time there. The staff are all so lovely and have taught my children so much. We will truly miss them when we leave and wish them all the best.

My son has been at Redbricks since he was 2, it's an absolutely amazing nursery. He has gained so much confidence and learned so much in the times he's been here. This is not just a nursery, it's more than that, it's a continuity of a family. My daughter is part of this family for more than 12 months and we've seen so much improvement in behaviour, language, learning, socialisation and much more. The children are doing lots of activities, reading, games. The staff are more than welcome and happy to help you, every day coming with updates. They are approaching every child as they demand. Best nursery I could think of for my daughters, as my other daughter will attend this nurturing place soon.

I’ve been using this nursery for around 5 years for my children, my son who started there at around 1 and a half-2 years old who left for school 3 years ago and now my daughter who has been going for over 2 years. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, they really accommodate your childcare needs and really care about the children they look after and take such an interest in them. My children have both come on leaps and bounds since they both started this nursery as the staff are so interactive with them and make the effort to teach as well as play with the children. My daughter who is currently there absolutely adores all of the staff and has made lovely friendships there. My son also made lasting friendships there who he went on to primary school with. Me and my son absolutely love The Red Brick Day Nursery. The manager and all of the staff are amazing and make you feel so comfortable. My son loves going to nursery and he has come on leaps and bounds since being here. I can speak to the staff about any issues I’m having at home and they are so supportive. My son is always doing fun activities and comes out of nursery smiling every day. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery and would 100% recommend The Red Brick Day Nursery to any parent.

My daughter has attended Red Brick Day Nursery for the past two years or so and I am more than happy with all aspects here. Staff have gone over and above to accommodate any requirements for us and her progress and development have come on so much since she has been here. Not only would her key workers give a breakdown of what she's eaten and been doing/learning each day, but it was clear through their care and attention that they came to know her character and personality well which not only made her feel welcome and settled it has also given us as parents peace of mind that our child is in good and safe hands in our absence. Friendly atmosphere very engaging for children. Always make good use of their premises with fun interactive activities for the children. The staff are always enthusiastic about the children and their development. It's a nurturing environment as it should be and they do not hold back on play time either. Food is always something different and they take care to avoid certain foods that my child cannot consume. The entire team is fantastic taking time to listen, talk and understand. Like a home away from home.

Both of my children have attended Redbrick and it's been amazing. The staff are amazing at communicating with you about your child and their day, they are so friendly and welcoming and you can see each of them have a care and passion for what they do. The manager has been so supportive and always tried to accommodate me with childcare when I needed it. I always recommend them to friends who have actually put their children into the nursery and they always say it was the best decision they made. Thank you all

This nursery is absolutely outstanding! My son came from quite a ‘chaotic’ nursery before we found this one and I believe he had learnt some bad habits from there. I was worried about moving him as he hates change but he settled so fast and fell in love with the nursery just as quickly as we did. The staff are absolutely wonderful all so friendly and professional - you can tell they genuinely adore the children and want them to learn and develop just as much as you do.

They have helped him so much with his sharing and he comes out saying words I’ve never heard him say before. He runs in without looking back and always eats such delicious healthy food there too. It’s a very relaxed, calm, professional environment.

I am so grateful we found this nursery and I know he is too. I could go on forever about how much we love it.

A great team that really care and have a healthy bond with the kids. There's always a friendly welcome in the morning and a chat in the evening to provide a progress report and help with ideas we could use at home. It also provides a great ratio of kids per adult, which ensures our son gets the attention he seeks.

Our son soon climatised to the nursery and despite being a bit of a clinger to us, he grew confidence around the team which in turn has given us confidence to not worry about him. The team have helped our son from 1 year onwards and have been a great support in his development. As well as a great insight of knowledge to help us as naive parents.

In the near future, we hope to be sending child number two there.
