Crescent Corner Day Nursery

My child is very happy to go to nursery everyday. Staff are very helpful and understanding. This nursery has helped the development of my child. (Eating, learning etc) I feel comfortable leaving my child at nursery.

I was really anxious about our daughter when we initially started. She has got language barriers, but the staff are excellent and she became really close to the staff and the staff are really friendly and approachable.

Amazing staff, great friendly atmosphere. Couldn't do enough for the children couldn't ask for anything more.

I am happy with the development I have seen in my son since I have sent him to nursery. He has become more adept at using utensils, is more active and more confident in the recent days. Me and his mother are happy to see the positive changes that we have seen in him since he enrolled at the nursery.

Amazing staff, so caring and my child has learnt so much whilst being here. Always such a great atmosphere, and he is very happy here.

It is nice that the children have rooms with others the same age but can mix at lunchtime. Good range of snacks. Lovely care summary at the end of play. Management is always dealt with us with kindness and patience. Only things I'd like to mention; nappy changes perhaps too frequent for little one as he doesn't have a lot of wet nappies.

This is a very caring nursery. Great communication and imaginative activities. Our granddaughter has mobility issues and the staff cope splendidly. They are sympathetic but stretch her also.

The staff at the nursery are amazing and are always willing to support the children in their early learning. They come up with great games and interactive activities to challenge them and encourage them to learn new skills. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone with small children - they will love it.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys attending Crescent Corner Day Nursery and has built good relationships with both staff and other children since she has been attending. She always comes home excited to tell me what she has been doing. She is always learning new things.

Both my grandchildren attend Crescent Corner Day Nursery, Halifax Road, it’s so lovely and clean and very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and my grandchildren have come on so much with their speech, numbers and confidence. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My child started here when it opened in September and he absolutely loves it. Unfortunately since this situation with the Ofsted inspection his favourite person had to leave her job. I had a very upset child trying to explain to him she won't be there anymore. This is the main reason we decided to change nursery. I really didn't like how they handled this situation. No support from owners to staff. They should be monitoring staff better and give more support etc.

The staff are lovely and approachable. They always have time for the parents as well as the children. I always get to know how much my child has eaten that day and what she has been up to. My daughter has been attending since January this year. Loved the nursery as soon as we visited, as did our daughter. Excellent spaces for each age group and a lovely outdoor area. The staff are really friendly and helpful. This was my daughters first experience of going to nursery and it couldn't have gone any better, she loves it which is obviously a reflection on the setting and the staff.

My little boy started here in January, at eighteen months old and so far I am really impressed and glad we made the decision to send him here. Due to the pandemic he had not had the best socialisation and gets very upset when I drop him off, however the ladies are great with comforting him. The difference we’ve already seen in him is amazing and he now soon settles and happily plays. I’m looking forward to watching his confidence grow and I’m sure the nursery will be a massive part of that.

My little girl's 2 and started here the beginning of January. I use 15 free hours and pay extra around when I work. I was apprehensive about sending her with it being a brand new nursery and there not being any reviews as such for it. However, my experience has been brilliant and so has my little girl's. She absolutely loves going and when we wake up every morning the first thing she asks is if she can go. When I tell her it is a nursery day she cheers and gets so excited. She loves all her teachers but has one favourite. I always get a good handover when I go to collect her and I am told about everything she has done that day and I cannot fault a thing. If anybody is sitting on the fence like I was I would say go for it because it has done my girl the world of good. All the girls are doing a brilliant job of working through such a rubbish time. They are all lovely and most importantly to me they are amazing with my little one and they make sure that every day she has there is a good one.
