Banana Moon Day Nursery Littleover

Hiya!

My name is Paige, and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since June 2020. I have recently become the Nursery Manager after working my way up through the roles, starting as Baby Moon's Room Leader, Assistant Deputy, Deputy Manager and now Manager.

I have also taken on the role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). I have completed my training for this role, and I'm keen to help and provide the best support possible for the children and their families.

I have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification and have worked with children for over 9 years. I am also a Designated Safeguarding Lead and have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my cats, as well as days out with my friends. Along with watching and attending football matches.

I started the nursery as an Assistant Room Leader in Mini Moons and was then offered the Room Leader role in Full Moons in August 2021. I then settled into this role and became the Assistant Deputy Manager at the same time. In October 2022, I became the Deputy Manager.

I have also been the Nursery Manager for 3 years, since April 2023. Recently, I have started working back in the rooms as Baby Moons Room Leader and Deputy Manager. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, and I have worked with children for 23 years.

I am a Designated Safeguarding Lead and also have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

I am a Mum to two children, a daughter who is 18 years old and a son who is 14 years old.

My name is Nar, and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since October 2020. I am the room leader in the Mini Moons Room (2-3 years). In my spare time, I enjoy going to London, travelling to new places and trying new foods. I am very adventurous, and I'm such a thrill seeker. I also enjoy spending time with my best friends, watching Netflix and going shopping.

My name is Tina and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since June 2023. I am based in the Mini Moons Room (2-3 years) as a Key Person. I have a Level 6 Childcare Qualification and have worked with children for over 17 years. I also have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

What I enjoy most about my role, is seeing the children grow and develop and having a fun team to work with.

I'm a mum of two boys, who are 5 and 2 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on family walks.

My name is Meera, and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since January 2024. I am a key person in the Baby Moons Room (0-2 years), and I have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification. I've worked with children for 18 years. I'm also Paediatric First Aid Trained.

I'm a mum to two children: a daughter who is 9 years old and a son who is 5 years old. In my spare time, I love spending time with my children and my family. I also enjoy getting creative and crafty. I have a small side business with involves booking holidays, which I really love, especially going abroad with my family.

My name is Nas, and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since September 2025. I am a key person in the Full Moons Room (3-5 years), and I have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification. I've worked with children for over 14 years. I'm also Paediatric First Aid Trained.

I'm a mum to three children; sons who are 7, 5 and 2 years of age. In my spare time, I love spending time with my children and my family, keeping them busy with different classes such as boxing and swimming.

I have a Level 2 Childcare Qualification, and I'm currently working towards gaining my Level 3 qualification too. I have worked in childcare for 4 years.

In my spare time, I enjoy going roller skating, which I have been doing for 10 years. I love spending quality time with friends and family, too.

In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family and friends, along with jetting off to somewhere new and warm!

My name is Iram and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since January 2023. I am based in the Full Moons Room as Lunch Cover. What I love most about my role is forming lovely bonds with the staff, children and parents within the setting.

My name is Mariyah and I have been part of the Banana Moon team since October 2021. I have been in childcare for 5 years and I'm currently part of the Bank Staff Team, covering when needed. I used to be a full-time member of staff, working as a key person in the Mini Moons room (2-3 years), but I started University last year to become a Qualified Teacher. I also have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

In my spare time, I'm trying to stay on top of my Uni work, handing in my essays on time. I also love Harry Potter, watching the movies on repeat.

My name is Kuldip and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since March 2023. I am a part of the Bank Staff Team and work in all rooms at the nursery, covering when needed. I have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification and have worked with children for over 21 years. I also have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

What I enjoy about my job the most is playing with the children and seeing what fun activities they get up to whilst at nursery.

What I enjoy about my job is working with my colleagues; they are such nice and friendly people to work with.

I am Pam and I have worked at Banana Moon Day Nursery in Littleover since February 2024. I am the Nursery Cook. I have a Level 3 in Food Production and Cooking, Hospitality and Catering. I prepare freshly cooked meals every day for the children, as well as snacks during the day. I tend to the different dietary requirements the children may have. I'm also Paediatric First Aid Trained.

In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors; especially in my garden at home, where I love to garden. I enjoy going for nature walks and looking at all the beautiful scenic views. I also read books, particularly enjoying historic novels.
