Bishop Cornish Preschool

Bishop Cornish is our daughter’s 4th nursery (due to moving & closures) and they have been fantastic at helping her settle in. The staff are very friendly and professional, developing lovely relationships with the children in their care. The communication is brilliant via the app and at the school gate. Our daughter has gone from strength to strength during her time at Bishop Cornish and I’m sad she only has 5 more months with them before school!

Such a lovely nursery! All the staff are wonderful. They are kind, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They make each day really interesting and varied for the children and all our children have come home happy and excited to tell us about the fun things they've done. Staff are so kind and friendly and really take the time to get to know each child as an individual.

Staff answer any queries you have and never leave you waiting for replies either.

Bishop Cornish is a brilliant preschool. My son attended for 2 years and now my daughter is in her second year. My daughter absolutely loves preschool and has really thrived there, as did my son. I can't fault the preschool at all. The staff are all amazing and really care about the children. There is great communication from the staff and It's very reassuring to know that your child is happy and well looked after. I feel very lucky that my children have been able to attend such a lovely preschool and will be sad when our preschool journey comes to an end.

Our daughter is having the most fantastic experience at preschool. The staff are amazing and look after her so well. The learning experiences that are provided are so well thought out and appropriate to the ages of the children. We have been so impressed by the way the children are taught to understand and manage their emotions and this is a particular strength of the setting. Our daughter comes home happy and excited to tell us about her day, and we feel 100% confident that she is being extremely well looked after, cared for and nurtured. Thank you amazing team - we couldn't ask for more!

It makes me happy knowing that my daughter wants to go in each week with a big smile on her face. I found it hard letting her go as she’s my youngest but I know that we have chosen the best place for her to thrive and to get a head start for her next journey in September. There is always so much planned and lots of creative and educational activities which I love to see on the app. We will be sad to say goodbye in the summer but are forever thankful to the amazing staff who have helped my daughter flourish.

I can't recommend this setting highly enough, it is everything and more that a parent would want it to be.

Amazing pre-school, my little one is always very happy to go and comes out at the end of the day very happy talking all about his day. Lots of updates throughout the day of what they are up to. Staff are all very friendly and lovely. Would highly recommend it.

We cannot praise the staff enough, our son has thrived. Staff are supportive and will accommodate any requests. Communication is brilliant with regular updates on the fun they are all having.

We would highly recommend Bishop Cornish Pre-school. All the staff are fantastic, so approachable and friendly. If we ever have any concerns we know they will help and put our minds at ease. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The care they have shown each child is amazing. Our son has only been there a short period of time and has settled in so well. He has thrived so much. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for our son. You are all amazing!

We honestly cannot praise Bishop Cornish Preschool or the amazing staff there enough. They have nurtured our daughter from day one and she has done nothing but grow in confidence under their care. The staff there, led by the manager who is just superb, genuinely care about the children in the preschool. They have been on the journey of our daughter's development with us every step of the way and they celebrate every achievement with us. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and it has been so wonderful to see how much our daughter has thrived since being there. They know the children that they look after and build their strengths. The facilities are excellent, the literacy and numeracy programme are great and we couldn't ask for anything more. If you are looking for a wonderful, nurturing environment, then this is it.

We are so glad we held out for this amazing pre-school! Our son has grown so much in confidence and thrives with the help and support of the teachers and his friends. The staff go above and beyond in all areas and foster open communication. Thank you so much.

The grounds itself are excellent for little explorers with access to a whole outdoor forest school experience.

A wonderful nursery. My daughter has really thrived here. I love the focus on being eco friendly and teaching the children about feelings. The teachers are lovely and I cannot recommend this place enough. Cannot wait to send my next child.

This is an amazing preschool! I’m so lucky that two of my children have come here. The ladies are so lovely, caring, fun and smiley, I could go on. The moment my children were greeted with big smiles off they went, I’m regularly kept informed via the app. They get loads of outdoor play and learn so much. With Covid-19 I was worried my youngest would struggle, the ladies were so supportive and reassuring and my daughter has loved every moment. They think of everything and keep you fully up to date. I have so much confidence in the preschool that my child is safe and having so much fun whilst learning. Thank you ladies for giving my children the best possible start, you’re all amazing.

This is an amazing pre-school! The staff are so friendly, happy, cheerful and lovely! I was anxious about sending my little one to pre-school as most Mum's probably are. The staff were amazing with handling my little one when he was upset going in on his first and second week and they reassured me throughout the day that he was happy and that he wasn’t upset for long. Which I believe was a clear reflection on how welcoming and friendly the staff are towards the children! (This helped so much with an upset mum too). My son always comes out of pre-school happy and is so excited to go to pre-school. We look through tapestry together after pre-school and he’s so excited to tell me everything he has done that day. What they teach the children is amazing too! Very impressed! I cannot recommend this pre-school enough! It’s amazing! Thank you to all the lovely staff.

The most wonderful preschool. Both of my older boys attended Bishop Cornish Preschool and when we found out that they had started to accept 2-year-olds we jumped at the chance to send our youngest son here to. I was very anxious about sending him as he is so little, having only just turned 2, but I really didn’t need to be. The staff are all so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, from a welcoming hug in the morning to the multiple changes of clothes from my little one loving the water play and mud kitchen so much! My little one loves his preschool days and has come on so much with regards to development and learning to share and play with other children. I can’t recommend this brilliant preschool and the wonderful staff enough, they have given all 3 of my boys the best start to learning we could ask for.
