Amazing outdoor play area. My son particularly enjoyed the construction area as well as the sand and water area. There are also lots of lovely indoor resources, which change with various topics. The staff are all lovely and very supportive of the children, and the nursery is well managed.

I can confidently say the move to reception was seamless having had such a strong introduction to the school environment.

My daughter attended Weetwood nursery for nine months prior to her starting reception class. I had been worried about moving her from her existing nursery as she was settled. I soon realised it had been the right decision. Her confidence grew greatly at Weetwood nursery, and it definitely helped with school readiness, particularly as she mixed so much with reception children in the play area. Her phonics developed and set her on good stead for school. The resources are fabulous and set out in a way that encourages free play, creativity and independence. The outdoor space area is wonderful and very large. Most importantly of all, the staff were kind, supportive and encouraged my daughter to develop and explore her interests while also challenging her in a supportive way to try new things. We loved the nursery and are soon about to send our second child there.

My daughter has had a great experience at Westwood Primary School Nursery. The staff are very kind and caring towards the children. My daughter's phonics really developed during her time at nursery, she also had many activities planned every day to keep her busy and entertained. The nursery has helped her to prepare for Reception and her writing and reading have really advanced. The nursery is well managed and the outdoor area is fantastic.
