Coton Day Nursery

My son just started at coton day nursery and it has in just a few months done wonders for my sons development. The welcoming that my son has had from the team has been nothing but positive and truly could not be more grateful for how patient theyve been with myself and my son. Today I got to see the different bonds hes got with his teachers and it was beautiful to see how caring and loving they are towards not just my son but every child that walks through the door. I was very anxious when my son started nursery but seeing how much hes thriving i realise i had absolutely nothing to worry about. In just a few months i can see how much work and effort the team put into their day to day activities for the children, and thats including what we dont get to see behind the scenes. Forever grateful that i found such a lovely nursery to start my sons journey into school and its all thanks to the lovely staff :)

2 of our daughters have been to Coton nursery and I was previously really impressed with it especially the fact that siblings can be in the same room unlike some larger settings. Unfortunately recently, staffing has been an issue with last minute closures and changes of hours which has a real negative impact when we have no flexibility in our jobs and no other help with childcare. Unfortunately the nursery have given us 2 weeks notice to a change of hours (no longer a 730am start) again due to staging. This is no longer compatible with our work hours. I am genuinely heartbroken that we are having to scramble around to sort a new nursery over the Christmas closure and that my daughter who has been their since 5 months will have to leave somewhere she has thrived for her final 5 months before school. Overall has been a wonderful setting but unfortunately ongoing inability to retain staff or fix staffing issues have made it unreliable for us.

Tough to get places and this is always a nail biter when new term availability is released, more spaces would be welcomed by parents

We are new to the nursery. We have been impressed by the excellent communication from staff both in the nursery and wider family first network. Staff are warm and friendly and we have been welcomed with open arms. Our children feel happy and safe at Coton nursery and we feel happy leaving them with such a caring and genuine team. The updates throughout the day are much appreciated.

The outside space is small but works well and they have a lot of fun. When possible the children are given the opportunity to have a small outing to the village playground.

It would also be great to have a minimum of two observations a day so as a parent we can have conversations with our children about what they have achieved.

We can only say the most wonderful things about this Nursery. They took the greatest care phasing my daughter in, she was always eager to go and had a lot of fun and made many friends. The staff were loving and caring with my child and extremely professional.

Brilliant nursery, very accommodating with comprehensive tours of the facilities. Staff were so lovely and the children so happy and friendly. A great space for children to thrive in their early years.

Both my children have grown and developed within this nursery and I would definitely recommend this.

My child really enjoys the nursery. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and make the nursery a really happy place to be for the children. It's a small setting, meaning that everyone knows everyone well which gives it a community feeling. We get photos/videos and other observations on the parents' app to let us know how our child is doing.

Our son started at Coton Day Nursery in September 2023. We chose the nursery because it has a warm and inviting feel and the staff made us feel at ease. The nursery in our opinion is the perfect size and allows smaller children to interact with the older children, but still has a cosy and safe baby area. We absolutely love the creative displays/toys within the nursery and the personal crafts that our son brings home. The staff know our son well and he has a wonderful relationship with his key worker and all the staff that care for him, they are kind, observant and incredibly friendly. The app is another great tool they have and we look forward to the daily updates and pictures. Choosing the right nursery can be tricky, but we are so pleased we found Coton Day Nursery.

Coton Day Nursery has amazing staff and facilities, my son is very happy here, he has learnt a lot and made some wonderful friends. I recommend the nursery to everyone and will be sending my daughter in September.

She's a picky eater but always comes home full. She always has lots of happy stories from her day to share with us at home.

Amazing staff - young and energetic. Our 3 year old daughter is very happy and learns a lot every day. The playroom has plenty of cool toys and our daughter is in love with their amazing garden. The thing I love the most is receiving daily diary reports, photos, descriptions and observations of what my daughter did or learned during the day - it is really fun to read all the reports while I am at work.

We could not fault the staff at Coton Day Nursery. They are friendly, efficient, communicative, kind, caring and engaging and our daughters think they’re the best thing ever! The activities they organise are educational yet fun and the mixture of indoor and outdoor activities is also good. We would definitely recommend!

My son is the happiest he’s been at Coton Day Nursery. He loves the staff and other children. He always has so much fun at nursery. The food provided to the children is of great quality and usually goes down very well with my son who loves food.

Our experience at Coton Day Nursery is very positive, teachers are lovely, caring and trustworthy. The space and equipment for games, learning and activities seem varied and abundant. Our little one loves it and speaks about his key worker fondly. We feel that the food offered is ok but could be more nutritionally balanced. All in all, we are very happy and feel lucky to have Coton Day Nursery nearby.
