Coteswood House Pre-School and Day Nursery

I was nervous about sending my youngest to nursery as he was a very clingy child and lockdowns obviously made that worse. I allowed my son to choose the nursery himself so we visited six and I went on how he felt and acted etc. while we were there and when we left! Well……he didn’t want to leave Coteswood House Pre-School and Day Nursery the first time we went to look around which was a great sign to me! He loved every second there and I could not believe just how much he did there including an amazing forest school! I can genuinely recommend this place and have to many people before now.

Brilliant nursery, this is my son's first nursery and from day one he loved it and settled in straight away. He has learnt so much and made so many lovely friends, all the staff here are amazing! Would highly recommend Coteswood House Pre-School and Day Nursery, we will be sad to leave here.

My son attended Coteswood House Pre-School and Day Nursery starting as an ‘owl’ baby until leaving in July 2021 for school. This small, warm, friendly and professional nursery is a rare find and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Management and staff are passionate, caring and polite and they work and communicate well to ensure all your child’s individual needs are met. There is a unique family atmosphere, with excellent toys and facilities for fun and play with valuable, educational themes immersed into daily activities. My son woke up every day excited to go and came home every evening wanting to stay! Thank you Coteswood for caring and providing him with the very best early years start and education anyone could ask for.

Could not recommend Coteswood House enough. We have such fond memories and with a beautiful, soft approach to early years learning I will always be grateful for the staff who encouraged my daughter and built up her confidence, resilience and readiness for primary school.

My daughter went to Coteswood House Pre-School and Day Nursery and I couldn't have wished for a better nursery. Fantastic staff where no matter who comes to the door at collection, knows all about your child's day and what they have been doing. Always did all they could to help and support my child, giving my child a fantastic start to school life. I would recommend this nursery to everyone who asked. It's been 5 years since my daughter went there and we still wave hello as we go past.

Coteswood is wonderful, fantastic, amazing and 'the best school ever' according to both my children! I can only sing the praises of the staff and management. Nothing is ever too much. Easy to approach and genuinely a lovely team. Such a wonderfully nurturing environment, helping children in their learning, developing life skills and growing their confidence to ready them for the next stage of learning. The small, intimate setting has made a world of difference to the confidence level of both my children. The setting also enables all staff members to get to know your children, to allow for a more personal touch. The outside space is a beehive of activity and with the added bonus of forest school sessions! In turn, this lends to making this place really something special. I’m so grateful I found Coteswood House.

Absolutely fantastic preschool. We loved how person-centred and caring it was and we felt totally reassured that our daughter was happy and well cared for. Being a preschool, they offer a great academic start for children and it really does give them a boost in their educational journey. The teaching staff go above and beyond to ensure parents are involved and updated at all times and it has a lovely homely feel. 100% recommend Coteswood House.

Coteswood House is a fantastic nursery. After visiting a few other nurseries in the area, we were blown away with the facilities provided by Coteswood and it's so much more intimate than all the others we considered. The class sizes are small, and as such, the staff really get to bond with your child. My son joined when he was 2 years old and struggled with his speech, only saying the odd word when he first joined. A year on and we're in disbelief at how well he's progressed, not just with his speech (he's now a little chatterbox!), but with all his education, people skills and daily activities. The standard of education at Coteswood far exceeds the other nursery's we looked at, and I'm so glad we chose to send him there. He also loves the forest school sessions run by the nursery, which was one of the things that initially drew us to Coteswood. Couldn't recommend it any more!

Coteswood is a lovely preschool where all the staff go above and beyond to care for every child. My son started at Coteswood when he was 2.5 years old and stayed until he was 4 years old and left for primary school. I was drawn to Coteswood as it is a small and homely preschool, where every member of staff knew each child and their families on a personal level and they provided lots of engaging and educational activities each day for the children! My son made lots of lovely friends, and the preschool staff were very effective in communicating with us as parents and keeping us updated on his learning and development. My son loved his forest school sessions' and came home every day happy and content.
