Stars Day Nursery Oakdale

We like this nursery, the communication between the nursery and parents is excellent, the children are wonderfully cared of and we would love for the playground to be a bit bigger. Thank you to the nursery staff!!

I love that my older daughter can see her sister in her lunch breaks when playing and great transition up to big school

The staff really helped my son settle in and put my mind at rest as he seemed a little nervous in leaving me. He's made some great bonds with staff and peers and loves going in. He joins in a range of activities especially messy play which he loves. The staff have supported potty training. He looks forward to going each week. We get sent photos to show what hes been up and regular parents evening and other events parents can attend. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing staff, lovely setting. Couldn't be happier with my children going stars oakdale, my son has come on so much since joining , my daughter has autism and all her needs were met to a high standard and the staff genuinely love their job you can see this.

Stars Day Nursery Oakdale have really helped our daughter to settle into nursery life. They have an amazing connection with her and her family. They know her interests and encourage her to try new things. The communicate with all family which helps our daughter settle, develop and grow.

This Nursery does an amazing job, I am so proud that my child attends exactly this Stars Day Nursery Oakdale. All staff so professional and polite, and know how to encourage your child to be involved and wanted to come every day. I am so happy to see my child every day progressing with knowledge and being happy. I definitely would recommend this nursery. My daughter started in October 2024, neither of us had been apart from each other so we knew starting nursery would be difficult for us both. Everyone was so caring and welcoming, I had updates on how she was settling in and often saw pictures which made me feel at ease. She absolutely loves going to the nursery and always talks about the staff and her nursery friends. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and I felt they went above and beyond to make sure my little girl settled quickly by putting things into to make things easier for her. She walks straight in now excited for the day ahead. The manager and the team are wonderful, I feel lucky we found a fantastic nursery for our little girl.

Such a lovely nursery. My son settled in there so quickly and the team were absolutely brilliant in helping with that. He’s so happy there. The staff are really caring and supportive and do such a great job in looking after the children - I really can’t fault them. I get regular updates on how my son has been each day, which is also very helpful. The nursery itself is on the smaller side but this doesn’t seem to hinder at all as they really make use of their outdoor space and seem to have lots of different activities going on each day.

Could do with a bigger space for children but I understand is not possible due to the size of the building.

I cannot recommend this nursery more. Wonderful management team along with the other members of staff. My daughter loves going there every day, she has learned a lot since she first started. Almost every day she brings home some artwork. She sings so many songs and since September her speech has developed so much. I feel comfortable talking to the members of staff about my concerns etc. They had helped me a lot during the difficult episodes we had. Thank you for everything!

Such a lovely nursery, my daughter has settled in so well and she has been supported so well with potty training and other milestones. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Both myself and my daughter are really enjoying her new experience.

Communication is great, I’m always kept upto date and it’s wonderful to hear what my son has been doing during the day. If I have any concerns or need any support they are always there to listen. I have had two children attended and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Since my child joined the nursery in September 2023 I cannot fault the nursery in any way. The staff are amazing, the setting is great and the care shown towards my child has been outstanding. I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone and wish my child had longer at the setting.

My little girl loves to go to the nursery and is excited every morning of what the new day will bring! Staff members are friendly, supportive and always welcome us with a smile. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Can’t recommend this nursery more; they are fab!

My experience with the nursery has been overall positive. My son has additional needs, and the nursery has been very supportive. He is preverbal and has been taught to use communication tools (Mackaton). The SENCO representative is always on the ball with his needs. My son is always very eager to go to nursery as he enjoys being there. I am very happy and satisfied with the service the nursery is providing my son with.

We moved to Peterborough in May 2022; therefore, needed a nursery for our three-and-a-half-year-old son. Moving from London was stressful, but knowing that we found a great nursery for our son was reassuring. All staff are friendly, helpful, and most of all, approachable. My husband, son and I are very happy. Staff at the setting are very understanding and listen to our needs regarding our son. Well done to all staff for their continued support and care.
