RGS Dodderhill Nursery offers excellent care for your son or daughter, between the ages of two and four years old and provides a nurturing environment where your child can learn through play and adventure.

The nursery is situated at the heart of RGS Dodderhill school, located in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Droitwich Spa. Your child will benefit from stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, where they can play and learn, build confidence and develop social skills. Specialist teachers work closely with you to ensure that your child will receive the best childcare possible.

Forming part of a wider school community, the nursery also benefits from superb facilities and specialist teachers on site. This provides opportunity for your child to gain exposure to the arts, music, dance, sports and have adventures outdoors in the wonderful, secure Forest School area.

Nutritious cooked lunches are prepared on-site each day, ensuring your child enjoys a healthy and well-balanced diet.

The Nursery is open 7.45am to 6pm and provides flexible sessions Monday to Friday.

Funding & Fees

For Nursery and Pre-School, the full-time termly charge is £4,392 (VAT exempt), and for those not attending full-time, the daily charge is £82.00 (7.45 am – 6.00 pm).

We offer between 15 and 30 hours funding through the Government Scheme for children aged 2+ until the term in which they turn 5. This support will reflect the prevailing Government regulations and is subject to a minimum of two days per week.

We've seen such an incredible difference in our child since starting at this nursery. His behaviour has improved so much, and he's grown in confidence and independence in ways we didn't expect so quickly. The support from the staff has been amazing, they've really helped him develop in every way.
We're
especially impressed with how well they focus on phonics and early learning. It's made a big difference, and we can clearly see his progress at home too. The team genuinely care about each child's development and go above and beyond to support them.
We're so grateful for everything they've done for our child and would highly recommend this nursery to any parents.

I could rave about RGS Dodderhill Nursery & Pre School all day. They are a wonderful setting, they individualise each child's care and needs and my husband and I are a thrilled with how our daughter has progressed with them since April 24. The rooms are not over crowded and every single team member
is so lovely and knowledgable in what they do. You can tell they all love their jobs and are passionate about what they are doing. We cannot wait for our next daughter to start when she is old enough. Thank you all!

Dodderhill nursery has dedicated staff and is within a lovely school community which provides excellent facilities and resources.
Small class sizes mean each child and their needs are very well known and met.

My child enjoys attending the pre school. She is confident and comfortable within the nursery and preschool environment and this is thanks to the nurturing and caring staff.
My child's is engaged with learning and is often sharing what she has learnt at home. I am pleased with the support and progress
my daughter is receiving and making in preparation for starting school.
Staff offer feedback from the day and regularly check in that everything is ok, this is reassuring as a parent that my child is happy and cared for, and it's always nice hearing about her day.

A fabulous nursery and preschool. My son is so happy here, great facilities and timetable with lovely outdoor activities planned daily which my son loves!

Since my daughter started the nursery in January 2026, aged 2 1/2 years she has come on leaps and bounds. We felt she was falling behind at her previous nursery and we are so glad we decided to move her to RGS Dodderhill. She is becoming so much more independent and she is talking alot more. The teachers
aren't there to just look after them, they actually teach and encourage the kids from 2 years of age, unlike most other nurseries. A lovely nursery in such a lovely setting.

I can not rate RGS Dodderhill Nursery highly enough. Our daughter is absolutely thriving there. She runs into nursery every morning happily, all of the staff are attentive and know each child personally. The range of activities on offer are always well thought through and there are lots of opportunities
like the Harvest Festival, Christmas Nativity and Fathers Day to go in to the nursery and get involved with your child's learning and witness the magic that goes on daily.

I can not fault this nursery in anyway! They are simple amazing. This is my second time using them. My middle daughter started with them back during Covid and they were fantastic with her considering how shy and reserved she was! My youngest daughter started in January this year and she loves it. Range
of activities and clubs is so varied and suitable for all children. Even their toddler group 'ducklings' that we often attended beforehand is excellent. The food for lunches and the cakes; that sometimes even the parents can indulge in; delicious. Every member of staff is polite and engaging, even the headmaster. What a wonderful place for a child to spend time in. Holiday club accessible and easy to book! If you can send your child here they will learn so much!

All staff at RGS Dodderhill Nursery are exceptional. My daughter has been made to feel welcome, safe and has been given the support and opportunity to explore and learn through play. Their variety of activities and ideas are very individual and always child-led.

Our son has been attending RGS Dodderhill now for a few months. It took him a little while to settle in which i imagine is normal but the teachers were so accommodating and were very supportive towards him and us when he went in upset initially. I really appreciated the communication from the teachers
with a phone call or message to know he had settled down and was absolutely fine. He goes in with no concerns at all now as he loves it. All the teachers are so lovely and we feel really comfortable leaving him with them and have no concerns at all. He has a lot of fun at nursery and does so many activities. It is wonderful to see all the photos and updates each day he attends. I would 100% recommend RGS Dodderhill to any parent.

All staff are kind, have time to listen to the daily needs (these change often when children are young) and act upon any requests. My children are both happy to go to nursery/pre-prep, there is never a battle in the morning to put uniform on. Activities/themes are well planned and support the needs/learning
appropriate to their age.
I have only given 4 stars for the outside space as their play ground is probably due an update/renewal of a few items.

I absolutely cannot speak highly enough about Dodderhill Nursery. Ever since my daughter began attending, I've had complete peace of mind knowing she's in good hands. My little boy has been attending this nursery for 2 years now. I cannot praise the school, the staff, the setting and all of the other children enough. It’s not very often that you hit 5 stars in every area I’ve mentioned. My son is so happy here and has previously attended other settings but none are
comparable. He settled in so well and it’s safe to say that the staff have nurtured him throughout his whole journey. The nursery has a structure which has been great, yet there’s so much flexibility if that is not your child’s choice that day. As my child has got older, the choice of activities from french, music, pe, phonics and lots of play, has given him the best start in life. Then I can mention all the extras like festive celebrations and sports days. The food is top quality and the caring side of the staff is impeccable. The holiday club is a complete reassurance that our son can spend the time we need him to with his friends out of term time. We will be sad to leave.

RGS Dodderhill is an excellent nursery. My daughter settled in very well and talks about all the teachers in a lovely way. She has made lots of friends and comes home buzzing about what she has been up to. It is great that each day they have a specific focus, for example, phonics, maths or forest school.
The teachers, at the end of the day, tell us exactly what they have done in the day, and the rapport between parent/teacher is second to none.

My son has attended RGS Dodderhill for the past two years. He joined at age two and a half. Not only is the nursery and staff excellent, caring, supportive and nurturing; they have given him a wonderful all-round education from phonic to ballet. The nursery offers a wonderful and gentle introduction
to school without losing the elements of play. I would recommend the nursery to anyone, and we are all sad to say goodbye.

We decided to move our son to Dodderhill Nursery following an amazing session at Dodderhill Ducklings; a toddler morning open to parents. I was absolutely blown away with how welcomed we felt and knew immediately it would be a Nursery much more suited to our energetic son who would (and subsequently
have) encouraged his lively personality than the previous one he attended.
Since joining he has flourished - his speech has improved from saying almost nothing to speaking in full sentences, and other developments such as his social skills (sharing with other children), and potty training to name just a few.
The bond our son has with all of the staff speaks volumes and he often wants to stay longer even after a full day there.
We as parents feel we have a great relationship with each Nursery team member too and feel that they all really 'get' our son and his little character!
I cannot rate Dodderhill Nursery more highly, to say that the Nursery is outstanding would be an understatement

We are so happy we moved our son to Dodderhill when we did. He has developed so much since he moved from another nursery and compared to his previous nursery it is like night and day. All of the staff are incredible and go above and beyond every single day. I cannot rate them highly enough and I wish
