RGS Dodderhill Nursery offers excellent care for your son or daughter, between the ages of two and four years old and provides a nurturing environment where your child can learn through play and adventure.

The nursery is situated at the heart of RGS Dodderhill school, located in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Droitwich Spa. Your child will benefit from stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, where they can play and learn, build confidence and develop social skills. Specialist teachers work closely with you to ensure that your child will receive the best childcare possible.

Forming part of a wider school community, the nursery also benefits from superb facilities and specialist teachers on site. This provides opportunity for your child to gain exposure to the arts, music, dance, sports and have adventures outdoors in the wonderful, secure Forest School area.

Nutritious cooked lunches are prepared on-site each day, ensuring your child enjoys a healthy and well-balanced diet.

The Nursery is open 7.45am to 6pm and provides flexible sessions Monday to Friday.

Funding & Fees

For Nursery and Pre-School, the full-time termly charge is £4,392 (VAT exempt), and for those not attending full-time, the daily charge is £82.00 (7.45 am – 6.00 pm).

We offer between 15 and 30 hours funding through the Government Scheme for children aged 2+ until the term in which they turn 5. This support will reflect the prevailing Government regulations and is subject to a minimum of two days per week.

Cannot fault Dodderhill. The staff are all really genuinely nice people who are amazing at their jobs and really care for the children. The updates are detailed and give a clear indication of what they’ve been up to. It’s also nice to see photos of the children doing the activities. The days seem well
structured, planned and varied. The management of the nursery is completely different to my sons previous nursery and the difference is like night and day.

I am so pleased with RGS Dodderhill Nursery and I am so happy to have chosen this nursery for my child. The staff are of the utmost professionalism and at the same time so kind and caring. It is a real reassurance knowing my child's care is in their hands. It is a highly child-focused nursery so feedback
given to me is always very personal to my child, which I am highly appreciative of. The only improvement I would suggest is that it would be great to receive arts and crafts sent home with the little ones so we can visually see what they have been up to and as little memories of their time there! I cannot recommend RGS Dodderhill Nursery enough!

Our son moved to RGS Dodderhill having had a bad experience at his previous Nursery. They have been outstanding, they made him feel very welcome from the very first day and he just loves attending. The team are amazing, they are always there to welcome you with a smile in the morning, and the end of
day feedback is honest. (I like to know that my son isn't perfect) Very pleased.

From my perspective all aspects of the nursery settings are fantastic other than the choice of food for my little one. There is no doubt in my mind that the food is nutritious and varied however I’d like options that are more suitable for a two year old. In my opinion gammon isn’t something that I’d
expect a two year old to consume however this is subjective and I understand others do.

The provision on offer is of very high quality. I like that each day is a different subject, which I feel will better prepare my son for school rather than just ‘free play’ that I found from other providers.
I believe the staff provide a wrap-around learning experience that also includes social skills,
understanding emotions, etc which is really important to us and is very evident with our son.
The holiday club is a fantastic addition, is fairly priced and has great hours, so holidays have minimal impact on our jobs as parents.
The communication between staff and parents is consistently good, and I always feel that I can raise any concerns with them.
My son speaks very highly of his day at nursery. For a parent, it is very reassuring that they are enjoying themselves as well.
I’ve previously had worries about the mixed age group and whether this would hold back my son, but has in fact done the opposite. He shows kindness and compassion to younger children when outside of the nursery.

Wow! RGS Dodderhill has absolutely blown us away! We moved from another nursery as our daughter was struggling. The staff at Dodderhill were amazing and she settled right in. She is back to being herself and the therapeutic approach by the staff is a huge part of this. They have built instant rapport
and trust with our daughter and are getting the best out of her.
We could not be happier and can only recommend you visit RGS Dodderhill yourself and see the team in action.
Our only regret is we didn’t come to Dodderhill sooner! We are looking forward to seeing our daughter grow through the school and beyond!

The nursery is a lovely, positive, nurturing environment. It has fantastic equipment and facilities as well as benefitting from the extra facilities afforded to them by the school. The staff are second to none. They go above and beyond and genuinely care for the children. My son is so happy, settled
and content at nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son has been attending RGS Dodderhill nursery for the past year. From day one I saw my son thrive and start to engage with adults and other children. It is a fantastic nursery providing many opportunities for the children. The main nursery room is bright and well-organised, providing excellent fun
experiences both socially and academically, which prepare children for school. The staff are phenomenal, the care they provide and the constant interaction and adaptation of activities to the children’s needs is second to none. It is extremely child-focused. As the nursery is set within RGS Dodderhill school, the children have access to a forest school, sports hall and grounds. Additionally, being part of RGS Worcester family of schools there is strong, supportive management.
