HappyWoods Nursery is a term time only Nursery for children aged 2 to 5 years old who benefit from two large playgrounds, daily child let activities based on the children's needs for indoor and out play.

Offering extra curricular daily activities in Spanish, Yoga, Cooking, outings and Forest School activities in order to provide a fun day at the nursery, the caring and experienced staff work closely with parents to ensure their child's needs are catered for, providing the best possible learning experience.

In addition to a wide range of activities, the nursery holds the Millie's Mark accreditation which means that all of the nursery staff are first aiders, providing first class service to all children.

The children are provided with a healthy snack in the mornings and afternoons and are required to bring pack lunches for those that are accessing full day care.

Funding & Fees

Morning sessions are charged at £30.00 from 8:00am to 12.00am
Afternoon sessions are charged at £30.00 from 12:00 to 16:00pm

We are pleased to accept funding for children aged 2 years old, as well as for working parents with 2-year-olds. 30 hours childcare is available to eligible working families of 3 and 4 year olds in England. This is an additional 15 hours on top of the 15 hours available to all parents of three and four year olds. Please call us to request pricing and availability.


Please kindly call the nursery and ask for the Nursery Manager as the nursery fees depend on the number of days attended and the age of the child.


The nursery fees are available to all parents once they have received an official email from the parent/carer of the child. Their fees are calculated for 52 weeks of the year.

HappyWoods is a really nice nursery. It is like a second family. The staff are very friendly and smiling. They really care for the children. My daughter has been coming for a year and a half. She is learning so many new things. She is always showing me some yoga moves.

I just want to warn all the parents out there, who are looking at sending their child to this setting.
Management - unprofessional with no understanding of how a nursery setting should be run. This nursery has demonstrated a lack of care on many safeguarding concerns, with their ethos focusing purely
on the business end of a nursery.
Staff - Many of the staff here shouldn’t be working with kids, where they care more about just getting through the day, rather than making a positive impact on these beautiful kids. They have no understanding on how to manage or treat kids.

My son is really enjoying his time at HappyWoods, ever since he enrolled he has developed so much more and I praise the team there for this. The onboarding was smooth, and the team there is very professional and knowledgeable, from all hierarchies. They all communicate very well and are always there
to answer your questions. I highly recommend HappyWoods and want to again say a big thank you to them all.

The nursery is literally the best. My daughter came first and her development was so noticeable that I had to bring my son. The teachers and managers are so lovely and patient and the setting is so clean. Both children love it so I will definitely recommend because I've had no issues.

My daughter has only been at HappyWoods Bell Lane for just over a month and I cannot express enough how much she has developed since attending this nursery. She loves going into the nursery every morning and settled in really quickly. I love that this nursery encourages the skills and steps to take
the children into reception. I would highly recommend this nursery. We receive updates every few days on how the children learn and develop their skills in a variety of learning activities. The staff are very friendly and my daughter enjoys learning Spanish and yoga.

I am very grateful to the Happywood staff for taking care of my little boy and for helping him learn to stay together with others and away from me for the first time.
I see him growing every day and learning new things.
The staff have been very patient with him and was close to him since the first
moments.
My son can't wait to go to the nursery in the morning.

My daughter started at HappyWoods nursery, EN3 in September after already doing a year in their other nursery setting in EN2 (which was great). I was a little apprehensive after my daughter had been off for so long and changing the setting but it was the best decision I made. My daughter is so happy
at the nursery and the staff are amazing. She talks about nursery a lot and she has even started to count in Spanish. I am very pleased and would recommend this nursery to anyone within the local area as both me and my daughter are happy.

My two-year-old daughter previously attended the other Happywoods setting but as this was closer to home, we decided to move her. She is just as happy here as she was at Heene Road and has settled in really well. I cannot fault the staff and manager for their excellent management and communication -
I am always calling and emailing and they always reply quickly. Three members of staff are among those who my daughter just loves to play with and they have endless enthusiasm!
My 19-month-old son just started here and although he has separation anxiety, the warmth, understanding and dedication of the staff have helped him to settle. They have been incredibly proactive and pragmatic in trying different tactics in order to help him feel confident in the setting. I cannot thank them enough. My daughter and son both love the food at HappyWoods. They also love the garden and my daughter really enjoys doing Spanish. I must have viewed over 15 settings before I chose HappyWoods. It was the right choice.
