Beaming Stars day nursery offers childcare for children aged up to five years old. The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6.30pm and located on Butchers Lane in Ash, Sevenoaks. The rural location offers an idyllic surrounding for children to explore nature while building their imaginations and understanding of the world around them.

The nursery follows the EYFS framework to build each child’s skills and independence. Multi-sensory play areas, both indoors and outdoors, enable plenty of activities, from messy play to stories and singing.

Children are given healthy, homemade meals, with learning about a healthy and active lifestyle being part of their EYFS curriculum.

My little girl started at Beaming Stars in September 2024 in the baby room.
We are so pleased with the nursery in general, and how warm and welcoming they are each day. Seeing our little girls face light up when she gets in the room is lovely.
They take amazing care of our little girl and built
a bond with her very quickly. They are super communicative and approachable. All the staff are kind, welcoming and helpful, taking extra time to help explain things like funding to me.
They offer a great range of home made meals for the children and I was so surprised to find all the children in the baby room sitting quietly and peacefully for their snacks!
They provide updates on an app throughout the day so I can see photos of what my little one has been up to and has a summary of her day.
Beaming Stars has been a breath of fresh air to us after previously using a large chain nursery for our eldest child!

The staff here are amazing, I never have to worry about leaving little one and you get updates and pictures throughout the day on the app. Honestly the only thing I can fault is, I wish the place was a bit bigger.

My little one has been at Beaming stars for almost 2 years now and he has made excellent progress!
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really love their job and the little ones they care for. The little touches make a big difference, from remembering their (current) favourite
character or activity, to engaging and encouraging them into activities by incorporating their favourite things, it makes such a difference to them and for us as parents
The communication is always high, if I ever need to get hold of the staff I'm immediately able to speak to them or directed to who I can speak to with immediate efficiency
Finally, I love that they go 'above and beyond' and they really do, to creating new and fun games, to exploring the outside areas, planting fruit and veg, celebrating different dates and special milestones, the nursery really are a gem! Thank you

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Beaming Stars day nursery! My son has attended here since just after his first birthday and he absolutely loves it. All staff that we have come across have been kind, friendly and welcoming and I feel the children are treated as their own. The daily
updates and photos on the app is brilliant to see what they have been doing throughout the day. The children are offered a wide range of activities/experiences which seems to ensure a great time is had by all.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a home from home setting with amazing and caring staff :)

Our little boy has been attending Beaming Stars since he was 2 and he has absolutely thrived there. All the staff are so welcoming and professional and they immediately made all of us feel at ease. He absolutely loves the variety of activities that they do and we love the fact that he's learning while
having fun. With Beaming stars, he's developed onto the happiest, chattiest little boy and we couldn't be more happy with everything.

Beaming Stars Day Nursery is outstanding! They have provided our son with outstanding learning and play opportunities, activities for him to grow and develop all his skills in a warm, welcoming environment. We are so happy we chose this local nursery as the staff are exceptional, not just to the children

My son has been attending Beaming Stars for the last year since April 2023 when he was 8.5 months old and he has absolutely loved going every morning. He always walks in with a smile on his face and loves his days at the nursery. He even shouts his key worker's name on the way to nursery! The ladies
there are so lovely and friendly and have the children’s best interests at heart. The manager makes you feel welcome the second you step foot in the door and gets stuck in with the kids. The ladies are so consistent with the children and encourage independence and resilience. We really couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our little man to attend and develop in.

My son has attended Beaming Stars Day Nursery since July 2023. Being first-time parents in 2020, going through Covid and lockdown, I was very hesitant to let my son go to nursery but I knew it was vital for his development. Beaming Stars was the only nursery we viewed, from walking in the door I felt
immediately at ease and my son ran off to join in. After three settling-in sessions, my son was running through the gate, not even fussed about saying goodbye. He talks about what he gets up to, the friends he's made but most importantly, he talks about the staff. I cannot fault the staff at Beaming Stars, they are friendly, caring, loving, dedicated and attentive. Each staff member knows every child, regardless of what room they are in. I love that I don't have to just speak to my son's key worker to know how he's doing, eating etc., they all know. I cannot praise them enough. My son's confidence has skyrocketed. They are truly outstanding.

For being first-time parents, we debated between a nursery and a childminder, after our first visit at Beaming Stars, our mind was set on our daughter attending there. The atmosphere throughout the whole building was such a home-to-home vibe each staff member went out of there was to acknowledge our
daughter and to introduce themselves. My daughter was just 9 months old when starting here and we had no issue with settling she so happy and content there. She will happily put her arms each morning to the girls. We love the information we receive on the app and the photos. Overall, we would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. The girls are super and we definitely made the right choice with attending Beaming Stars.

Since my son has attended Beaming Stars his confidence has grown. He has so much fun at nursery and loves being there which makes any parent feel comfortable! All the staff are lovely, caring and give you all the time in the world - I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Beaming Stars is a great nursery. The staff are friendly and know the children so well, which means they can provide appropriate care for their individual needs far more than I think is typical in most settings. The children do so many fun activities and the nursery goes out of its way to plan great
events and celebrations, involving parents where possible too. Our son thoroughly enjoys his time there and our daughter will be joining him soon.

My daughter has been at the nursery since November 2022 in the baby room. She has absolutely loved it and she is keen to get her shoes in the morning when I tell her she is going to nursery. The staff are lovely, so kind and gentle with the children and they really care for their well being and development.
It's nice to not have any worries when leaving your child in the morning to go to work. I know she is well cared for and enjoying her day.

My child joined Beaming Stars Nursery at the end of December 2022 and has thrived ever since! The team in the baby room are amazing and were extremely welcoming. The baby room is intimate and homely which helped my child adapt really quickly.
As a first time parent leaving my daughter for the first
time with strangers was really hard for me but the whole team made me feel so comfortable leaving her. I love the fact I can track what she’s been up to throughout the day on the app.
My daughter has built relationships with the members of staff and loves going to nursery. Communication between the nursery staff is brilliant, I am always kept up to date if there are any issues and concerns or if my daughter has learnt something new.
I definitely wouldn’t want my child to attend any other nursery.

My little one started in September, and considering he was at home with me for a year and didn't like to be left with others, he settled into the nursery within a few weeks. He is so happy there and very settled. He gets three meals a day (including a hot dinner), which they provide. The staff are all
super friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Beaming Stars to anyone who is looking.

Lovely nursery who have helped me adapt going back to work without having to worry about my son. Every day he arrives with the biggest grin ready to see the girls.
I can log onto the portal throughout the day to see what he's been up to etc.
If I need to change my days at all they're so helpful
and accommodating.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery for the past four weeks, just once a week (this was our choice, not their capacity), but despite this, our daughter loves going, is comfortable, comes home smiling, and she is well looked after.

I was extremely hesitant to use a nursery with my children due to archaic and poor opinions via social media and misconceptions. However, My experience has been the polar opposite. Being able to trust the staff with my most precious children has really enriched mine and my children's lives. The positive
relationships and attachments they have made with my children has really helped stop any anxieties I may have had. My little ones are loved and cared for and as a parent- is the best thing! I appreciate the staff so much and you can see the culture at the nursery is extremely positive. My little ones look forward to nursery and chat happily about their days. It is clear that my children thrive in their care whilst I am working.

Beaming stars is an amazing nursery. The staff are lovely and so helpful. My 2 year old son is currently waiting for an ASD assessment. They have gone above and beyond to ensure my son gets all the help he needs whilst making hes time at nursery as fun and enjoyable as possible for him. Amazing all

Diploma in Nursery Nursing -NNEB level 3 qualified, Paediatric First Aid trained, Designated Safeguarding Lead for the setting, SENCO trained, Fire marshall training, behaviour management trained and Health and Safety officer.
Marie is married and has two children.

Amy holds a level 3 qualification in childcare and is working in our baby room with Emma the room leader.
Amy is also new to the team this year and is excited to grow with the nursery.

Samantha Lineker

Job Title: Deputy Manager/Preschool unit support. Joined: 2021

Sam is a level 3 practitioner who has 8 years childcare experience, working in larger nursery chains but wanted to make the change to our small family feel nursery. Sam took over the Deputy Manager role in Jan 2023, and is learning all the different aspects of managing a nursery. Sam is also the SEND co-ordinator for our nursery and is able to liaise with other childcare professionals, complete personalised plans and EHCP's When supporting Preschool, Sam works alongside Gracie, Kate, Hollie and Tia. Sam loves the challenge of Toddlers and Preschool age children and finds helping them to learn and grow very rewarding.

Gracie has graduated from school and is undertaking an apprenticeship with us to gain a level 2 qualification in childcare.
