Little Lancing - Lancing College Day Nursery & Forest School

My son has just started at Little Lancing and we are so impressed thus far! The staff are lovely and he seems to be having a fantastic time. The food always looks great when we receive updates and I think he is genuinely getting a lot from being at nursery.

We are happy that our latest little boy will also join next year and benefit from the experience at Little Lancing.

Since the first day my child started at Little Lancing, I knew it was the perfect place for her. The staff are so accommodating and understanding and go above and beyond for her and our family. Being a military family, Little Lancing arranged for certain books to read to her that relate to our family life. I can't express how much this meant to us. Our daughter loves nursery and has made a lot of lovely friends.

The staff at Little Lancing are extremely supportive of us and, most importantly, our child, who also has a long-term, rare condition and requires daily medication at certain times. Nothing is ever too much for them to do or help with, and their communication with us and each other is second to none. I have absolute trust and faith in how they care for my child, and I feel so happy knowing that they are a big part of her life and help shape what a lovely child they are and continue to grow to be.

My son settled so well into nursery thanks to the wonderful staff who took the time to get to know him. The different activities each week are great and cooking school and forest school are particular favourites. When my son started he was a fussy eater but now eats a wide variety of food and loves the food at nursery. We love that it is fresh and prepared on-site. Communication between nursery and home is fantastic being able to see snippets of his learning via the app is also great.

Starting nursery is a daunting time for parents, but from the very first phone call with one member of staff, in particular, to enquire about our son starting at Little Lancing, we knew we had made the right choice. The warm welcome as he goes in, the fact that all the adults knew his name after his first day, the care when he is unwell and the detailed reports at the end of the day, are just some of the outstanding features this setting offers. Our son's keyworker is incredible and has already built a highly effective relationship with him (and us!). In just a few short weeks, our son has settled fantastically and absolutely loves coming. We can't thank the staff enough for what they do and we are so excited to see what progress he makes with them. At Little Lancing, the children are clearly at the heart of everything they do and we could not be happier with our decision to start there.

All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My daughter loves it there and has made lots of lovely friends.

An absolutely outstanding setting! I was so nervous and apprehensive about sending my child to nursery and found it very hard choosing the right one... until I stepped inside Little Lancing.

It absolutely blew me away - the setting, the management, staff, ethos, resources and provision! From the day I looked around I have always felt such a warm and nurturing feel from everyone who works there and it really is like a family.

During the settling process my little boy was upset (very normal) and so was I! The staff were amazing with us both and reassured me every step of the way with phone calls, messages on the app, photos and videos. They just went the extra mile and still do now even though he is very settled.

Can't recommend Little Lancing enough!

This is an absolutely remarkable setting for young children. The facilities are outstanding and the staff are nurturing and work relentlessly to aid the young children’s progression. My children love attending this nursery, they enjoy every second of their time. The days are jam-packed full of activities and learning opportunities, which has really enabled my children to grow as individuals. I would highly recommend this nursery, we couldn't be happier as a family. The management are flexible and understanding and the nursery staff have pure care for every child.

We are so pleased we chose Little Lancing for our daughter as she loves it in Explorers. She has been in two days a week since she was eight months old and staff have all been so good throughout. Thank you all very much.

From the moment we had our first visit to Little Lancing we knew it was perfect for us and our baby. It’s always so clean and the staff are wonderful. The Key Worker is so kind and patient. Could not be happier. I have no anxiety about leaving my baby there.

Our son has loved the first four months at Little Lancing. As first time parents, we did not know what to expect but we have been delighted with the varied activities, the friendly staff that allowed him to settle so quickly. He gets really excited about coming to nursery and we could not recommend it highly enough.

Little Lancing Day Nursery & Forest School is great, my son loves it there. When it's a nursery day, he's sitting down on the stairs demanding his shoes so he can go and see his friends! The staff are wonderful, keeping me up to date as to what is my little one is up to all day. I feel that my son is truly flourishing in the nursery.

The staff at Little Lancing nurtured him and his confidence soared. He had so much fun playing with all the activities and enjoyed his time in the garden. He loved the food provided. The staff were proactive about liaising with staff from his previous nursery and his Speech and Language Therapist to ensure they were providing him with the best possible support. They helped prepare him for the transition to school, which he has now successfully done. We are so grateful for the love and care they gave him, he really blossomed during his time at Little Lancing.

This is such a wonderful nursery! My children started nursery at Little Lancing a year ago, and I have been so impressed with their care and development. The staff are friendly and attentive towards my children and to us as parents. Communication is excellent, and we can regularly see what our children have been doing using the online portfolio. The rooms are spacious, calm and engaging for children and the outdoor area is great too. Each week the children happily skip into the nursery and come home full of stories of the day. I would highly recommend it.

My son really enjoys it at Little Lancing. We cannot thank the staff enough for settling him in so well. All of the staff are fantastic with him, and they keep you informed of everything that is done throughout the day. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

My son was suffering quite badly from separation anxiety when I had to start him at nursery so I was very anxious about it. Little Lancing have been amazing, giving him (and me!) as much settling in time as we needed and working closely with him to make him feel at ease and ensure he had everything he needed to create the right environment for him. It's such a lovely atmosphere there, like a home from home. They do lots of great activities and have a wonderful natural garden. My son has settled in great he comes out so happy each day he goes there and I'm really glad we chose Little Lancing for him.
