Through a strong partnership with Cheadle Primary School, children have access to a range of facilities, including the sports field and forest school area, which enhance outdoor learning and encourage physical activity, exploration, and discovery. These experiences help children build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
The close relationship between the nursery and school also allows children to take part in a variety of community events and special activities throughout the year. From seasonal celebrations and performances to wider school events, these experiences help children feel connected to their local community and support a smooth transition into school life.
The kindergarten maintains strong links with primary schools across the Cheadle area, helping children move confidently into the next stage of their education. Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared on-site each day by the Catering Manager, and convenient on-site parking is available for families. Funded places are also available for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old until they reach 5 years of age.

Cheadle Kindergarten is the only place where my son felt safe when he suffered with separation anxiety. They kept me updated all the time if he was/wasn't well. It always gave me peace of mind and I could do my job properly knowing that my son is in very good hands.

Absolutely amazing service for my daughter. Had issues with the previous nursery, but Cheadle Kindergarten took over and was so welcoming and helpful. My daughter was made to feel welcome, and without them, we would have had huge issues that month.

My little boy has been coming to the nursery for nearly a year now, he will be two next week. Although he is always a little dubious going in in the morning he is always very happy when I pick him up and sometimes doesn’t want to leave. I’m kept well informed with his own personal contact book and staff are available to chat to morning and night. We are also sent reports of his learning and development with pictures which I think is very good and keeps you up to date with what your child has been learning.

As a parent of one of the first children to attend Cheadle Kindergarten, we have seen big progress in both our daughter and the nursery. Our daughter has grown in both intellect and confidence and loves going to nursery. The staff are brilliant and show a lot of care and attention for all of the children and the facilities are constantly improving including a chef cooking proper (varied) menus (who also teaches the kids how to cook/bake) and outdoor facilities/visits which are stimulating for the kids. We love the nursery and even though it's not the closest to us, we felt it's by far the best.

We love this nursery. My son settled in straight away and really enjoys going. He is always happy and full of stories when he gets home. There is always a different theme/activities which is changed weekly. He is quite shy and they've brought him out of his shell so much. We love it because he loves it. Staff are friendly and helpful in all situations and really accommodating. Dinners are always different and he seems to enjoy them.
We would 100% recommend this nursery.

I have worked in education and childcare for over 15 years, beginning my career in a primary school where I gained valuable experience working with children across all age groups, while also completing my degree in Education. Growing up with my mum as a childminder inspired my love of working with children from an early age.
I enjoy supporting every child as they learn, develop and discover their own unique personalities, and I believe there is nothing better than hearing children's laughter throughout the nursery. I also love working closely with our families and leading our wonderful team to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences.

From an early age, I always knew I wanted to work with children. Growing up, I loved spending time with my younger cousins, and those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in early years education. Now that I’m a Mum myself, my passion for supporting young children and their families has become even more meaningful. I have now been part of The Kindergarten Group for 10 years and have progressed to the position of Deputy Nursery Manager. During that time, I have developed my knowledge and experience while supporting children and families, and I enjoy being part of a team that helps every child thrive.
One of my favourite parts of the role is planning creative activities and watching the children take part, learn new skills and grow in confidence. I especially love arts and crafts, as it's wonderful to see how proud the children are to take their creations home to share with their families. I also enjoy spending time outdoors with the children, exploring, playing and making the most of our outdoor environment every day, whatever the weather.
