Sutton Valence School - Nursery Reviews (6)

Sutton Valence Prep School Nursery is lucky enough to have the most fabulous warm and caring team. My daughter has been here for 2 years, initially, she struggled to say goodbye but she now gallops into nursery without looking back. They have the most fabulous facilities and are always out and about the school. I would highly recommend this amazing nursery and I’m counting down the days until my son can join!
I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.
We moved our son halfway through the term and were amazed at how quick he settled in. The staff are the friendliest and most caring team with a genuine love for caring for little ones. The nursery has a very warm, nurturing and family feel to it. Very clean, has great facilities, excellent staff ratios and great value for money. All of our needs were met and we always felt reassured that our little one was in great hands. Everyone is kind, welcoming and always ready to help. Would definitely recommend.
I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.
I have put both my girls into Sutton Valence Nursery. They have thoroughly enjoyed their time there, it was a fun and well-structured environment with a great balance of learning through play, as well as basic number and letter skills. They skipped into school every day and still do. The teaching staff, particularly the Nursery Team leader and the head of Pre-Prep were both exceptional teachers embracing the whole family from the start. They thoroughly deserved the early years Quality mark. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone in the area.
A fantastically warm and welcoming environment for any nursery age, or older child. Nurturing and knowledgeable staff with a family attitude, a wide range of wraparound care for all ages.

I am Mrs Foster, and I am the Nursery Manager at Sutton Valence School Nursery. I hold a degree in Early Years Education, and I have worked in the education and early years sector for almost ten years.
My passion for children is to allow them to thrive in our care and become as independent as possible with the support and guidance from the team around them. I love to have happy children in my care and will always do my best to see the children reach their full potential in every way possible.
Some of my favourite things are:
Colour – pink
Season – Autumn
Animal – Elephant
Hobby – Musical Theatre

My favourite things are playing and teaching the children how to build small and large construction sets, and hopefully, one day I will be hiring one of them to build my retirement home!

Hi, I’m Alison, and I will be one of your Nursery assistants.

I’m Tina, and I am a Nursery assistant here at the Nursery. I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) in addition to a diploma in banking and finance.
I was born and raised in Ghana (West Africa). I have since spent 12 years living in the Middle East (Bahrain and Abu Dhabi) with my husband and two children, where I also studied for post-school qualifications and worked in other nurseries.
We moved back to the UK in late 2020, and I have been working for Sutton Valence School Nursery since 2021. I believe that it is important that children are able to learn in a safe environment. They need to be able to explore and adventure in their own personal way. In my experience, children develop faster with a steady routine that has clearly set boundaries.
Working in early years education is by far the most rewarding job, as you see young children develop at the fastest pace, and yet they remain extremely innocent, blunt in their descriptions and remarkably flamboyant with their personalities.
Here are some of my favourite things:
Dancing
Travelling and visiting new places
Cake making
Shoes, I love shoes, more shoes and more shoes, you can never have too many shoes... did I mention that I love shoes!

I joined the team at Little Lambs in October 2021, and I enjoy my role of supporting the children in their play - I am a big kid and enjoy working with children on their level!

Hi, my name is Amanda (or Mandy), and I work as a Nursery Assistant in the Nursery from 3 pm daily.
I joined the team in January 202,2 and I am currently studying for the CACHE Level 3 Award in Childcare and Education.
I hold a degree in Social Policy and Administration and a diploma in Counselling, and I am also a part-time counsellor, working for two local charities.
I enjoy helping to provide a happy, encouraging, nurturing experience for all the children in Sutton Valence School Nursery.
