Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School

Amazing nursery. Amazing team of people. Over the past 2 years our son attended Bushy Tails. During that time his english language skills developed rapidly. The team even recognised his initiall struggle and made additional efforts to supprot his development since english was not his first language (Special thanks to Victoria, Kiran and Milie!). The team is very knowledgable on child development, leading them to gradually build their skills, grow confident and become more independent. At the same time the children had so much fun there. From water play, to puppet theatre, to gardening, to singing and playing music. A warm and friendly environment that in many regards feels like home.

Bushy Tails is a truly wonderful nursery, I can't recommend it highly enough. My son joined the preschool mid-year after we relocated, and everyone went above and beyond to help him settle in and feel so welcome. The outdoor space is fantastic, with lovely large gardens, with lots to explore. The compost, wormery and vegetable patches were his favourites. The food always looked great, and they often went out to the park, the shop, and the garden centre. They planned new fun, engaging activities for the children everyday. In just a short time, my son developed so much. I also really appreciated the extra effort the nursery put into organising events like Mother's Day, Father's Day, and graduation, which created such a lovely sense of community. Bushy Tails is a really special nursery, and we feel so lucky that our son had the chance to be part of it.

My daughter went to this nursery from 9 months old until leaving for school. I did not ever want her to leave, the nursery was so excellent! The staff are fantastic, they treat the children like their own family. They really get to know each individual so that they understand how to care for them and entertain them. My daughter loved all the days out they did, going somewhere on the bus or walking, but also really enjoyed the garden facilities. I liked that they got the kids outside all year round. Daily verbal feedback is really detailed as well as information on the app, it's nice to know what they've been up to. I couldn't recommend the nursery more.

Our 4 year old feels safe, happy, and supported every day. We couldn't ask for a more nurturing place! She has been attending since she was 9 months old and as we have no family around has only ever been cared for by us and Nursery. They really really care and I'm so thankful. She has learnt so much and is truly ready for school thanks to the teachers at Bushy Tails.

This nursery is an amazing place. My child attended from the toddler room to preschool, and we were extremely pleased with our choice. The staff are wonderful, always attentive and caring, and the facilities are excellent .The garden is a standout feature, making the environment even more enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved running around there in the summer, having fun outdoors. Additionally, the food served is healthy and well-balanced, which was a huge plus for us. Without a doubt, it made a significant difference in her development.

Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School is a warm, caring, and nurturing place where children thrive. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and creative, helping little ones learn, grow, and feel truly at home.

My children have been at the nursery for 3 years and have enjoyed every stage of their time there. There is stability in the management and team of excellent room leaders who have been there a long time and are very supportive and knowledgeable on child development and learning. The outdoor facilities are brilliant and allow for shade in the summer, and for the different age groups to all be outside at the same time but playing separately. There is huge benefit for the children in being so close to Bushy Park and they really enjoy their trips there and to the stables on Park Lane.

This nursery is the best! The manager and every single member of staff are truly amazing. So much love and care and attention is paid to every child. The food is fresh and prepared with love and super healthy and delicious. I would sing the praises of Bushy Tails from the mountain tops if I could, but I'm not a climber!

My little one (now a year and nine months) has been attending the Bushy Tails Nursery for over half a year, and I couldn’t be happier with it. He loves his days at the nursery (with plenty of engaging activities), and he has developed strong relationships with his teachers. The members of the team are indeed fantastic, and I couldn't praise them more. He is well cared for and very well fed (the food quality is excellent!). I would strongly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My daughter joined in May, and as this was my first child, I was very anxious and worried about leaving her! Not no more - the nursery has been amazing at making me feel comfortable leaving her, and she is so happy to go in the mornings - she shouts nursery excitedly every morning. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food that is served sounds so tasty. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you, everyone at Bushy Tails.

Maybe could do more school readiness in preschool.

Our daughter started going to Bushy Tails (2-3s room) in November 2022. Ten months in, and she is thriving. All staff have been very kind and patient during her adaptation period. The activities the toddlers do are very diverse, and the weekly reports are very comprehensive, explaining the concepts behind each activity (sensorial, motor, language, etc.). The nursery has a great outdoor space and a nice garden where children learn too. Our daughter loves all the staff. Her key person is very attentive and very knowledgeable. At pick-up, we get daily updates on all activities, and we can also follow meals and nappy changes in the phone app.

My daughter started at Bushy Tails in June 2023 when she had just turned 11 months old. As a first-time Mum, I was so nervous as I'd spent the last year with her every day. From day one, the staff at the nursery were amazing. They put me at ease and had a really good settling-in plan in place. Now, over two months later - my little girl is absolutely loving it. From a developmental perspective, she has progressed so well. They do lots of activities every day, the outdoor space is amazing, and I love it when I see pictures of them in Bushy Park. The food is varied - I love seeing all the updates on the parent app. I've only experienced the team in the baby room - but what they do is clearly a vocation for them - they are patient and very kind to the babies.

I am really pleased with the nursery, the outdoor facilities are great and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The children always seem happy and engaged in activities. Also, appreciate the visits to the library and the park which they take the children - I know from friends that some nurseries haven’t resumed this following Covid. Looking forward to seeing the new rooms once the refurbishment is completed.

My (toddler) son loves attending Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School. It's always comforting to see the genuine affection he receives from the staff every morning during drop-off and to hear about the fun and educational activities he’s done during the day at pick-up.

They have an excellent ethos as a childcare provider and feel like an extended family for us nowadays.

Our one-year-old daughter attends Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School and absolutely loves it. Being a dad that works away a lot, I had some time off lately which allowed me to do the drop off for a couple of weeks. The staff looking after her are incredibly lovely, and I have full confidence in them when leaving our little one there in the morning. The baby room team have been amazing at helping her settle in and she adores her key worker. There is lots of learning activities through play and we couldn’t have chosen a better nursery. A big thank you to all the team.

My son went to this nursery for 3 years. He loved his experience there, surrounded by caring and loving staff. Now my daughter is in the toddler class and she is enjoying it. They play a lot outside, in one of the three gardens. They also do a lot of stimulating activities to develop her fine and gross motor skills and she loves it. The staff are amazing, always focus on the development and the wellbeing of my child. I truly recommend this nursery. I find the communication easy with her key person but also with the great nursery manager.

The level of teaching at nursery is excellent. All teachers are fantastic and they really go the extra mile to provide the best service. My boy is very happy coming into the nursery and I am confident that he is being well looked after. The nursery settings are great with loads of outdoor space near the big park. I highly value that Bushy Tails is a green nursery, teaching children how to recycle, reuse and regrow. Children are involved in a lot of activities, contributing to looking after their classroom and gardens. The food is healthy and has a wide variety. My boy learnt to eat all different types of food i.e. olives, rhubarb which is not a usual children’s favourite foods, but this has taught him to make healthy choices in future. 5 stars for overall experience.
