Banstead Prep School Nursery

Our son has settled in wonderfully and is thriving - absolutely loves it! He's so excited to go in each morning and comes home buzzing with stories about his day eager to share everything he has learned and experienced. The teachers are welcoming, kind and genuinely invested in each child, thoughtfully planning creative and engaging activities that nurture confidence and encourage trying new things at his own pace. We love that children have access to the wider school and enjoy PE, music, cooking, wellie walks and other enriching experiences. The weekly updates are a real highlight, giving a lovely snapshot of his learning, progress, and achievements. The strong sense of community among parents and staff is wonderful and it's clear the staff truly cares about each child - they know each child inside out. Our son is happy, confident, and thriving and we are so grateful for the warm, nurturing and supportive environment that BPS provides.

My daughter has been attending the BPS nursery for a year now. The staff are wonderful and so caring. The premises is clean and very well run. The activities are very engaging and include cooking, welly/Forest walks, PE, music classes and lots of arts and crafts. My daughter asks to attend even on her days off! They are very nurturing and have helped her grow in confidence! I would highly recommend the nursery and to attend their stay and play sessions before signing up. They are a credit to BPS!

My daughter is currently in the nursery and benefits from access to the wider school, including specialist teaching in languages, music, sport and art. The staff are warm and consistent, class sizes are small, and each child receives a high level of attention. There is also a genuine sense of community across the school, which has made a real difference to our experience as a family. Overall we are very pleased!

BPS nursery is a true gem - the staff are genuinely so caring and go above and beyond to ensure every child's needs are met. My son is so excited to go to nursery, and having been at other nurseries in the area this was definitely not always the case! The facilities are second to none, they cook, do music, PE, Forest walks, all whilst learning through play.

My Son joined BPS nursery last September. Since joining he has come on leaps and bounds, is full of confidence and happy to try everything. All of the staff are so incredibly welcoming, jolly, caring and professional. The staff are so incredibly creative with making learning fun, it is great to hear about all things things they get up to each day. They have the best interests of each child at heart, and you really feel that they take the time to get to know each child and build on their interests and personality. I absolutely love seeing the updates every Friday and then can continue to build on what he has learnt in the week at the weekend and on holiday breaks. It is wonderful that the children are exposed to so many facilities and different staff members at such a young age (PE, cooking, music, wellie walks etc). We are thrilled we made the move to BPS, know that he is in safe hands and is super happy everyday.

Fantastic and supportive nursery. Our son loves being there and the staff are great. It's also a great transition into the prep school for those looking to go there. We've tried multiple nurseries for our two children and this is by far the best.

My daughter has been at Banstead Prep School Nursery since last March when she turned two. (Nearly a year.) Since her first day, we have been overwhelmed by the incredible kindness and enthusiasm all the staff have shown. They know all the children so well and really nurture them as individuals, helping their confidence to grow. Our daughter goes into nursery with such a big smile on her face every day and there is an even bigger smile at the end of the day after a fantastic day exploring with her friends! We are always amazed by the range of activities the wonderful lady and her brilliant team immerse the children in - expect stories of squelching through the mud on 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' welly walks and weekly food offerings made by the children! Thank you Banstead Prep School Nursery for loving our little girl!

All the staff and children are friendly and welcoming. My son has done amazingly well there, he's very sensitive and made lots of friends with both staff and teachers alike. I highly recommend it and would send all my children there.

My son joined Banstead Prep School Nursery last year, and it has been the best decision we have made. What a wonderful find! The teachers and site staff are delightful, and the school has such a lovely atmosphere. My son couldn’t be happier, and I can’t thank the teachers enough for how well he has settled. When collecting my son the other week his exact words were, ‘Mummy, I love my nursery so much - thank you’. So I think this sums up exactly how fabulous this school really is!

My eldest son joined Banstead Prep School Nursery in 2018 and is now in year 2. He has been very happy since his first day at nursery and it was a very smooth transition to reception. My youngest son has just joined nursery this September and has also had a fantastic start. He looks forward to going in every morning and his confidence has grown already. The manager and her amazing nursery team are very nurturing and have a great way to teach the children through play. The facilities are exceptional and the children have access to the main school also. They visit the wonderful library, have PE, music and French lessons with specialised teachers. Nursery children also attend forest school and 'boogie beats' dance classes. They are encouraged to bring in a toy/book to nursery in their 'chatter bag' once per week. This has really helped both of my son's confidence with speaking in groups. I highly recommend Banstead Prep and it's so lovely to know that they are so happy and well looked after!

My eldest spent two years at Banstead Prep Nursery and she loved it. The teaches are amazing, kind and they do lots of activities with them. She is in reception now and very happy. My little one has been attending nursery school since September and I can already see the difference, she has gained experience and can not wait to go.

I am very impressed with the dedication of all Nursery staff to the children and their development. There is a great variety of lessons and opportunities for the children as well. My little one has settled very well and is always excited when it is a Nursery day.

I cannot even begin to explain how happy my daughter is at Banstead Prep. She joined in September 2018 after being in a private nursery for 8 months. The difference in her enjoyment and overall engagement are truly noticeable. The staff at Banstead Prep are second to none and truly care about your child's wellbeing. They genuinely take an interest in the children and this is evident in the wide and varied activities that they do. I am so grateful to Banstead Prep for all they have done to support our daughter and couldn't recommend them enough.

My eldest loved Banstead Nursery, she gained so much confidence and her skills developed beyond our expectations. We are so happy with the care and attention to detail the staff provide that our youngest is now joining. There is great communication between staff and parents and it feels more like a family, which made it easier for us to leave our children in the care of the Nursery Staff for the first time. They have fantastic facilities and the ability to work with local businesses to allow for great trips and experiences that the children love. A happy environment that encourages all children of all abilities to achieve their best and enjoy learning.
