Our two kids have been through all rooms in the nursery since it opened and we’ve been really impressed with the standard of facilities and care of the staff. Compared to our previous nursery, Perfect Start Day Nursery seems to be able to retain permanent staff slightly better meaning greater continuity
of care and building relationships. They do a variety of activities, deeply care about the welfare of the children, and keep them thoroughly engaged throughout the day - keep up the good work!

My niece has been attending this nursery since May and has settled in so well in the
preschool room. We were a little worried about her transition into the nursery as she hadn't had much experience around other children but the staff and her key person went out of their way to make her transition
as smooth as possible. She now runs in excited for her day and is sad to leave in the evening.


I am very impressed with the high quality of activities and the knowledge she comes home with. The food she is offered at mealtimes are very nutritious and healthy and is offered various snacks throughout the day. Overall, I am beyond happy with the care she is given and the communication we all get at the end of the day when I pick her up. Lovely nursery with lovely rooms and staff. 100% would recommend.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my two children. They both began when Perfect Start first opened at the end of 2019, with one going on to school and the other still attending. The staff have always been kind and caring, attentive to my boys - and us parents too. The premises are fresh, clean
and inviting, and the toys and activities are creative, fun and engaging. My youngest particularly loves being outside and gets to spend lots of time out in the garden as he chooses which I think is fantastic. I can’t recommend Perfect Start Sevenoaks highly enough!

Perfect Start have been nothing but outstanding in the care they have provided my son. My son is in the preschool room now but started two years ago in the baby room so we have experienced all the rooms and have nothing but praise for all the staff. Our son’s care and development at Perfect Start has
gone above and beyond anything we could have expected. From the beautiful nurturing environment to the fabulous garden and the great food prepared freshly on-site, you can’t ask for more from a nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves Perfect Start Nursery. The staff are fantastic and offer a range of fun activities to really help the children develop. I can't recommend Perfect Start Day Nurseries in Sevenoaks enough - the team has created a wonderful, nurturing environment and it is clear that the staff really care for all the kids. Any issues are discussed quickly and staff provide support to resolve them in nursery and at home. Access to feedback
via the app is fantastic and the regular progress reports /photos are lovely to see.

Our experience with Perfect Start has been amazing from day one. All the staff made both myself and my partner very comfortable with leaving our son at nursery for the first time. Handovers are always very thorough. All the staff look after our son very well, and it's very obvious to see that he enjoys

My son thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery. The atmosphere is friendly, lovely, professional, organised and fun! Perfect Starts' reputation preceded them with the Haywards Heath nursery and was delighted to hear they were opening the Sevenoaks nursery. The location has been built to suit the children's health, safety, learning and fun factor in mind and is always clean and secure. The staff are friendly and it
has ample parking with great gardens fitted with astroturf for year-round fun. The small but welcoming team instantly put our mind at rest with their attentive nature and a warm welcome for our son, we witnessed our son feel very settled on the very first visit. He relaxed enough to let us leave the room within ten mins of arrival, this had never happened in his previous nursery of seven months. After the first week, our son’s progression, sleeping habits, health, wellbeing and mood in general on pickup instantly improved, enforcing the decision to place our son as 100% the right thing to do for him. With the current team from September 2019 to today, we believe we really have given him the Perfect Start.

I am so glad we moved our child to Perfect Start Day Nurseries - Sevenoaks. They’ve settled very well. The staff are cheerful, engaged and welcoming. The rooms are bright, safe, clean, well-stocked and encourage independence. The gardens are fun and safe - with a pleasant separate area for each age
group so they don’t need to time-share. The staff organise a lovely range of activities and have a nice routine. My toddler has been teaching me the songs they’ve been learning.
Little details make the parent experience much better too - parking, a pram park, a toilet, coat pegs in the room and so on.
Communication is great and I am very glad to get updates about my child - verbally each day, phone calls if needed, in an app each week and even a parents evening. I feel better connected to what my child is doing and how they’re getting on.
I really appreciate and value the care my child is getting! Thank you.

What a breath of fresh air! We knew from the moment we stepped through the door that this was an exceptional nursery. The manager is an excellent leader and her communication is second to none. She has hired a very competent team and runs a tight ship. We were super nervous about moving our sons but
they settled very quickly and for the first time are no longer clingy at drop off (after being clingy at the old nursery since they joined 2 years ago). My youngest has had some health challenges and the team have been amazing and gone above and beyond expectation to ensure he receives the right level of care. My eldest skips to preschool and doesn’t look back. The facilities are excellent and the learning plans and handovers are thorough.

We have been very impressed with the nursery and staff who look after our daughter. They are supporting her growth and she is learning new skills every week. We highly recommend the nursery - it's clean, bright and with lovely garden areas. They spend lots of time outside which she loves. The staff
genuinely care for the children and it is such a happy environment.
There are a wide range of activities, including cooking/baking, and our daughter loves being so busy.
There is a good focus on development but in a supportive way. The staff are not pushy and let everyone develop them in their own time.
An excellent nursery - it was the best decision we ever made in moving her there in October.

My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery at Perfect Start. Since he joined, his vocabulary has come on so much, and he is learning new skills every day.
I am so happy we moved him to this nursery, its definietly going to give him the start he needs for school.
The staff are all very friendly
and knowledgeable, and he loves them all and settled straight away.
I would recommend this nursery wholeheartedly.

We moved our two young children to this nursery when it opened from another local nursery, as we were so impressed by the facilities and the ethos of the nursery.
The room provision is excellent in terms of having young and old baby rooms, as well as a toddler and preschool rooms.
All the rooms
have an inviting environment, they are very light and spacious, with separate gardens for the different age groups.
The staff are always very engaging and caring, both our children have settled very easily and love going to nursery.

My daughter moved across from another nursery in the area and the difference in her has been amazing.
She loves being able to go in the garden whenever suites her, and for however long she likes. Activities are provided constantly, and she often comes home with artwork or cooking.
Her education
and extension of learning has been a huge change as we can see what she is working on every week and get to have a say about her planning. The nursery feels very homely, and she is always very excited on a nursery day! She has a great bond with her key person, and all the staff throughout seem to know her really well.

Excellent setting with a good range of rooms according to age range. All rooms had adequate space for children to play and interact with staff. The separate gardens were an additional added quality as children were able to play within their age range. Staff were very engaging with parents and delivered

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am the Nursery Manager at Sevenoaks. I am Level 3 Qualified and have worked in nurseries since 2017. I started my journey in the nursery at Perfect Start as a nursery practitioner, working my way up to Nursery Manager in 2021. Since then, the nursery was acquired by Kids Planet in March 2025, where I continue to be Nursery Manager. I am extremely passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging and safe environment where children can grow, explore and thrive. I believe that the early years are a critical time in a child’s development, and I am committed to working closely with our families, staff, and the wider community to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life. As a nursery, we support all of our staff in their apprenticeships and all types of training to encourage continuous professional development and growth in their careers as early years educators.
