Kids Planet Farnham

Our son has been attending kids planet for 6 months now and he absolutely loves it. He is thriving in the baby room and enjoys nursery days so much. The staff are all so polite, friendly and incredibly professional. Such a wide range of skills, qualifications and experience really allows me to be confident my son is receiving the best care in the setting. The environment is always clean and tidy, staff are well presented and always cheerful. The main thing I love is the transparency within the setting. We receive regular updates and pictures from the room leader and also well being phone calls when necessary. Management are excellent at sending out relevant updates too. Overall I really do believe this is the best childcare setting available in the area and I am really pleased we chose this one as I had been very picky when selecting which nursery my son would go to. 10/10 would recommend!!

The staff are so friendly they go above and beyond. My daughter loves nursery days and has made some fantastic friends. They do so many amazing activities with all the children which they seem to enjoy and have a lovely garden for them to play in.

A very clean and well looked after nursery.

We are so lucky that we go to Kids Planet Farnham. Our pre school age child has been there since he was 1 years old, and now his little brother goes there too. The facilities are clean/robust, and staff are so friendly, flexible, and trustworthy. It feels welcoming & well-run when you enter. I know the little ones are in good hands. I don't have any negatives (except maybe the car park getting full/tight around typical drop off/collection times).

We're very happy with this nursery. Both of my boys attend and absolutely love it. The outdoor space is excellent and there are lots of fun, varied activities every day. It's a caring place I'd happily recommend.

Our daughter has been at Kids Planet for 18 months and I can't rate it highly enough. The staff are wonderful and genuinely care about each and every child. Staff turnover feels lower than other nurseries (My older child is now at school in year 2 and there are still many of the same staff there from when she started nursery when it was under the name Perfect Start). The management team are really engaged and present in all the rooms. Communication is great & the resources in each room are lovely and natural, and often tailored to the children's interests. The staff see families as a whole and are engaged with every member, children, parents and siblings alike. My children were/are engaged and challenged (in a good way!) and the staff are always happy to offer advice if needed, or take your lead as the parents. Genuinely this is a wonderful nursery and I feel very lucky to have my child there.

We loved our experience at Perfect Start. Our son was in the older babies room and the teachers in his room were incredible. They were so creative with all their activities they planned. They always were so happy and full of energy. They work really hard and I always felt like they were truly taking excellent care of our son. The only reason we decided to leave was for a logistics move with my work and it was a really hard decision. The management was also wonderful - very friendly and professional. We have already registered our 3rd child who we are expecting in July for September 2026 because we wouldn't want our #3 to go anywhere else.

We are really pleased with the nursery. The staff are brilliant and so caring. When my child has been upset about going in the staff go out of their way to settle them and make them feel special. Thank you!

Wonderful team, both my children currently attend the nursery and I only have positive things to say! Highly recommend. My children have developed both socially and educationally since attending the nursery.

Our son loves his Perfect Start family, having been attending since he was a baby (now 4!) The staff are kind, nurturing and really get to know the children and their likes/dislikes. Our son has hilarious 'in-jokes' with various staff members from across the nursery, including a particular fist bump with the chef! He is always happy at pick-up, usually running around outside with his friends. Communication between nursery and home is brilliant, as is the management of dietary needs (my son has a dairy allergy and I am always confident this is taken seriously and he is provided with suitable alternatives). He learns so much at nursery, he has developed great verbal skills and is making great progress learning to write. I have no doubt his time at nursery has set him up brilliantly for school in September and we will be so sad when he leaves this summer!

Our son attends Perfect Start and we have been blown away by the lovely staff and high standards of care. From the onset, their professionalism has shone through and their passion for ensuring the children are cared for and supported at all times is evident. I feel they truly listen to the parents and any concerns we have and strive to ensure we are kept informed at all times in what is happening both on a day to day basis and wider. They have been extremely supportive with potty training too- which is stressful as a parent but at all times they have worked with us to ensure a smoother transition. Their friendly faces and caring personalities give us the reassurance we needed that our son is in the best possible learning environment. Thank you ladies!

Highly, highly recommend Perfect Start. My little boy has thrived in the year that he's been there. The staff are brilliant. Kind, fun, nurturing and seem to really want to see the kids thrive. The environment is warm and friendly with the perfect amount of structure and play. It's also very clean and organised. Genuinely couldn't think of anything negative to say aside from the fact that there's a long waiting list due to it being so popular!

Lovely nursery. Well-managed and brilliant nurturing and fun staff. My son's been there for a good few years and he's had a fantastic experience. He's now school-ready but will miss everyone a lot! Thank you!

Both of my children have really enjoyed attending Perfect Start, Farnham. The staff are very friendly, kind and have a very warm nature with the children. Availability to increase days is limited which is frustrating but the same issue that all nurseries are facing at the moment.

My nephew attends this nursery four days a week and I do a few of the drop-offs and pick-ups in the week. I know his parents are super happy with the nursery and all that they do. My experience with the nursery and team so far has been very warm and welcoming. I love that they give me an information sheet about my nephew's day to give to his mum and dad when I take him home. My nephew is always so happy when I drop him off and he adores all the staff there which is all any parent can ask for!

The only slightly disappointing point is the overall lack of flexibility in accommodating extra sessions. I have also requested to increase my child from 2 and half days to 3 days which was denied. I understand staff availability and overall capacity, but also there should be a little bit of an understanding that circumstances may change for parents from when they sign up a baby through the duration of the 4 years in nursery.

My son began his settling-in sessions before Christmas 2023 and the nursery staff made the transition to nursery life seamless! My son has recently begun weaning and the chef and staff have supported me and my son as we’ve introduced foods and he has been provided lovely puréed meals at nursery. Even though he is a non-mobile baby, the staff makes sure he gets to spend time in the garden with his friends every day. We are a bilingual family and the nursery have made an effort to learn keywords and phrases that we would use at home. The nursery even recently invited us and other parents of bilingual families into the nursery to teach the staff and children some nursery rhymes in a different language!

The garden is great and safe with astroturf grass and I like that the nursery provide the essentials such as nappies and wipes.

The activities the children take part in throughout the day have great variety and there is something different to do every day.
