Coworth Flexlands School Nursery is a provider of early years education in Chobham.
Pupils enjoy light, spacious classrooms filled with educational games and toys, books, dressing up clothes, craft materials and musical instruments. Children learn by exploring through play within structured days and activities. This child-led approach enables children to grow and thrive. There will always be adult led activities each day (as well as daily phonics lessons) and each table in nursery, including the 'play' table, have different activities which relate to the weekly topic/ theme.
Additionally, there will always be a variety of activities the pupils have access to such as cars and arts and crafts. Pupils also utilise the wonderful outdoor space a few times a day where they might set up car garages, make an obstacle course, draw on the blackboard, play in the mud kitchen or just use the different pieces of equipment.
With specialist teachers for sport, computing, music and Forest School who teach right up throughout the school, your child is very much part of the Coworth Flexlands family. A dedicated outdoor Nursery playground and woodland area further extend classrooms for open-air discovery, play and Forest School.
The Head of Early Years and Nursery Coordinator ensures a smooth transition from home to Nursery. Children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum to gain the foundations of mathematics, reading, writing and science. The approach of the nursery is to build the independence of children and install in them a strong desire for learning. This sets a great foundation for the next step into their reception class.
Experienced staff ensure children feel secure, happy and cherished, enabling them to form a trusting relationship with their peers, their key person and their teachers. A nursery where inspiring minds and nurturing spirit is at the heart of the approach.

My son has been attending nursery since Sep'25 and Coworth has been a dream for him. I have seen a nunber of nursery settings in the wider area and have never experienced such a warm nurturing care like the one the staff at Coworth are modelling.

My son has been attending nursery since Sep'25 and Coworth has been a dream for him. I have seen a nunber of nursery settings in the wider area and have never experienced such a warm nurturing care like the one the staff at Coworth are modelling. All the teachers radiate positivity first thing in the morning and throughout the day; I feel strongly the sense that for them this is not a job, it's a calling they thoroughly enjoy. They are always welcoming and they make every effort to make the anxious children feel settled within few minutes in the morning. The nursery has an open door policy for drop-offs in the morning and the teachers are always willing to discuss and concerns or any updates re the children.
The nursery timetable is very structured with carpet time for learning and allowance for free flow play and outdoor playing in the newly refurbished playground. Kids attend Forest School regularly and they get a chance to attend assemblies, preparing for transitioning to Pre-Prep

As a parent, this is my third school year going through nursery with my 2 children (one is now in year 1 & my youngest is due to start reception in September). The nursery is amazing & as a parent, there is nothing better than dropping your child off at the start of the day knowing that they will have a fantastic day & learn so much. The children have access to a wide variety of toys & equipment & so much care goes into the activities set up for the children. The outside area is a fantastic space for children to play in as well. What makes the nursery so special is the wonderful team of teachers who are looking after the children. They have it spot on & it's clear how much they all enjoy their roles nurturing the young minds. They all make such an effort with the children & so much energy is provided to ensure the children have the best day there.
The children are also exposed to school life and routine which is so helpful with regards to their transition into reception.

From the minute my daughter started at Coworth I knew she was going to be so happy there. The staff are fantastic, always so welcoming and understanding, from the way they great us in the morning to saying goodbye at the end of the day they always have a smile on their face. My daughter loves all the different activities and resources at nursery and is always very proud of the beautiful artwork and projects she brings home.
Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Coworth for making my daughters early years so special.

We could not be more thrilled with the nursery for our son. We saw lots of others before we discovered it and the main pluses of Coworth Flexlands School Nursery for us are: 1. The nursery teachers are the only I’ve met who I felt I could trust implicitly. Very experienced, genuinely caring and fun, and really good role models. 2. Outdoor space is wonderful and used as much as possible (and an amazing huge outdoor sandpit). 3. Their model of learning through play. This was a big factor for us. I work in education and wanted somewhere that specialised in play-based learning but - despite all the research showing how important it is - I was surprised by how difficult it is to find in a nursery. Coworth get the balance perfectly and have a particularly good approach to phonics. 4. Really clean and pleasant environment. 5. Great selection of toys.
6. Surprised how nice it is being part of a wider school community. We were made to feel so welcome and nursery parents are invited to school events and socials etc.

A wonderful nursery that gave both my girls the absolute best start to school life. Small group size, varied teaching (including forest school), lovely outdoor space and the most amazing, caring staff made my girls nursery years the happiest they could be. Both of them loved going in every day and by the time they were ready for reception they were reading with basic phonics, writing and had a good idea of numbers.

My little girl has been at the nursery for just over a year now and she has blossomed. She adores her teachers and has made some lovely, supportive friendships. I have been blown away by how good her writing and number skills are. At just four, she can write much more than just her name and loves sounding out words and this has happened in an environment where the emphasis is on playing and "being kind". The biggest compliment I can pay the nursery is that my daughter hasn't once done anything but run in happily in the morning. I can't recommend the school highly enough.

My son started Coworth September 19, after looking at around 12 nurseries within a 10-mile radius of our house in Ascot, I stumbled across Coworth Flexlands, I have got to say it is BY FAR the best in the area and beyond, it has a home from home feel, the children and teachers are lovely, you really feel your child is being well looked after, my son absolutely loves it here! He really has come out of his shell, things he enjoys the most... P.E, Christmas show, hot school lunch, cookie Friday, forest school, small class groups, his teacher, his friends, trying new things, puppet shows, structure and routine. Now he is in his second term phonics and numbers are being introduced, he seems more excited about learning and I only have the teachers and Coworth to thank for that. What a little Gem! From a parent that only wants the very best for my son!

The children are just so happy. They are treated like little individuals and allowed the freedom to play. Incredible grounds and equipment. Lovely, caring group of teachers who clearly love children. I can see that they are also learning, so many are working on their sounds, letters and numbers. If I was a student I would want to go to this school. The children play together and make the most lovely friendships. I am a mother of four and I regularly see very happy children at this school and nursery. They get the chance to do everything from drama and dance to science and sounds. They provide excellent food and wonderful wrap-around child care.
It also works in practical terms as they have acres of land so its easy to arrive and park and walk my little ones in.
