Kindred Cator Park Montessori Pre-school

Since the current manager has taken over as manager of Cator Park he has brought it back to being the wonderful Montessori Pre-School that it was known for. The staff in our class are truly wonderful, my daughter loves going in every morning and is welcomed with a warm smile.

For me, I choose Cator Park because of its Montessori principles and I'm so pleased that the manager is now at the helm with a strong team of qualified and loving Montessori teachers. Communication each week is fantastic letting us know what all the children have been up to.

The children are encouraged to independently learn, play, and ask questions, giving them a great start in life before big school and encouraging that desire to learn.

I am blown away by the dedication and care of the staff at Cator Park pre-school. My daughter has become a part of the family there. She always talks about her teachers in such a fond way. She even says when she grows up she wants to be a teacher now! It’s amazing that she is taking part in yoga, Spanish lessons and sporty stars. We’ve seen her soar to new heights with her communication, motor skills and creativity. We couldn’t be happier!

My daughter absolutely loves this Montessori. The staff are so caring and made my daughter feel accepted and welcome from her first day. They have taught her so much and always send lovely pictures of what she has been learning that week. I am sure her recent development has been down to the child-centred care she receives.

Since day one our little one found a great environment. He settled immediately and he was able to build strong relationships with all the children and teachers, which are all very knowledgeable and kind. Also, the place is nice and cosy and it is located inside the beautiful Cator Park which makes the ideal space for children to grow safely, far from busy roads and with plenty of nature to discover. Thanks to a great variety of activities and children sized events our little one has been growing at lightning speed both mentally and physically, meaning the learnings are having a great impact on his development. Last but not least, our son every morning is happy to go to the nursery, which is something we value a lot. We are very pleased with the school and definitely recommend it.

Staff are, by and large, friendly and caring. There is a good range of activities and the park setting is fresh. Inside is a little run down and there are surprisingly no excursions into the park - just a small garden.

Found out about extra charges (£26 per day) at time of invoicing. No breakdown offered but justified as due to the range of activities on offer such as Spanish, baking and yoga.

Our 2 and a half year old has settled so well into Cator Park nursery and that’s with much thanks to the staff and management who have gone out of their way to make his experiences there interesting, sociable and fun. I really feel the teachers here care about the children, they show them kindness and respect and in turn, the children show it to each other. He’s learned so much in just 1 term, baking, yoga, the celebrations of Diwali, as well as all the standard Montessori learning through play. The regular updates with photos each week are reassuring and give us an insight into his development there too. We look forward to hearing many more of his stories and adventures at nursery!

We are so happy our little ones are at Cator Park. They’ve grown in confidence and independence in just one term. The staff are lovely and genuinely interested in our children, their learning and wellbeing. Just wish we’d sent our eldest here, she would’ve loved it. Highly recommend.

My son loves to go to Cator Park nursery, and most importantly he comes out with a smile on his face everyday. The teachers do different activities constantly to keep the children engaged and really work on the areas they feel they need the most. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

We love Cator Park Montessori. We sent our first child, now 6 years old, to Cator Park and loved it just as much as we do now. It is a calm, caring, and supportive environment for our 3-year-old. She loves it there and has made great connections with staff and other children. The parent/staff interaction is great and remained constructive and proactive throughout lockdown etc. Thank you so much to everyone there.

I have been collecting my niece from preschool to help my sister out. Every day my niece comes out with such excitement and is full of stories to tell about her day. The staff always tell me about her day in detail and she clearly loves them.

Our daughter has loved every bit of time she has spent at the nursery and loves sharing her learning. Teachers are caring and keep parents regularly updated. Thank you for all your hard work this year to the teaching team!

We recently enrolled our son to the pre-school and have been impressed with the organisation of the enrolment, the range of activities for the kids and the imposition of a more structured class which our son’s previous nursery lacked. The feedback from teachers is extremely honest and helpful - I like the fact that as a parent you are seen as having the responsibility to reinforce the good behaviours that are taught in preschool. There is no slacking! I feel our son is certainly learning and adapting. I’d like to thank all of the staff who are doing an outstanding job, we are very pleased we moved!
