King's St Alban's Nursery

It’s been a great experience for my daughter that has attended King's St Alban's Nursery since a year ago. All the staff are really nice and look after our child quite well, always careful for the well-being of all kids. Highly recommend to other parents to consider St Alban's as a nursery for their kids.

I wish this nursery had existed when my older children were little.

Really great, staff care for our son and very friendly staff. They provide a detailed care record to track his growth and develop a focused scheme to aid his development. Also, very impressed with the level of attention given to his daily needs and support.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for almost a year and we were quite anxious for her to start as she didn’t have a support network outside of us until then. They were really supportive, especially at the start and they really seemed to know each child individually and try and get the best out of each child. As an example, our daughter is a bit more observant and they noticed she thrives more in smaller groups so they try and create that environment for her to enable her to build her confidence. She loves forest school and the meals make me quite jealous I have to say! It’s a relief to leave her in a safe environment with people who clearly care about the kids and make an effort to give them a nourishing environment every day!

The staff identified issues with our son's eyesight very early and alerted us to it, which has helped us to manage the issue sooner.

Every interaction with the nursery demonstrates excellent knowledge and awareness of my son. They understand his personality and strengths. Always providing excellent summaries of how his day has been. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and a part of the community. The standard of care is exceptional and whenever you drop off or collect them you feel the warmth and energy. The nursery provides a wide range of activities as part of their programme and my son thoroughly enjoys his time there. They have excellent all day care and communicate really well through class dojo and emails. Always responding to any questions with prompt answers. I have no issues in recommending the nursery and the care provided.

My granddaughter has been attending this nursery for the last 14 months and quite simply is having the most wonderful time. She can’t wait to get there in the morning. The teachers are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, caring, attentive, fun etc. All the children look happy and content no matter what time of the day I have been there. My granddaughter has grown from strength to strength both socially and with her early learning. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

The best nursery we could have wished for for our little boy. He has flourished since being with King's St Alban's Nursery, he has lovely friends and every day it is a joy to see the smile on his face. Thank you to all the amazing nursery staff that make him so happy!

King’s St Albans Nursery is wonderful! Since joining my daughter has absolutely flourished. The nursery offers wonderful activities and experiences for the children. My daughter absolutely loves forest school and going to choose a book from the school library each week. The staff are very approachable and really care about the children. Thank you!

King's St Alban's Nursery is a really wonderful place. My son is severely short-sighted - we were only able to diagnose it after the amazing nursery practitioners noticed that he seemed to be struggling with reading and other classroom activities. His whole world has been transformed because they were so quick to pick it up. He couldn't be happier there and is developing at an incredible pace. We are so grateful for their continued support - I have recently returned to work and they made the transition seamless! Couldn't recommend it more.

Always welcoming and helpful and, most of all, our daughter loves to attend school and is keen to learn at King's St Alban's Nursery. This for us as parents, is lovely to see.

Outstanding nursery setting - my son has thrived whilst at King's St Alban's. The nursery team are fantastic, kind, nurturing, supportive and attentive, and an absolute credit to the school. An all-round brilliant nursery, setting and team.

Our son started King's St Alban's Nursery at age 2, now due to start Reception. There were generous settling in sessions which meant no tears when he started. Staff managed his picky eating with practical, caring solutions and because of the new school caterers, he seems to eat all sorts. Plenty of activities and lots of learning seems to take place. We found the staff to be enthusiastic, caring and to provide care individualised to each child. Our son has been very happy at nursery here. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this nursery. Nothing is ever too much. Staff are so attentive and thoughtful. I would most definitely recommend. My little one loves attending and jumps out of bed on a nursery day! I don’t need to say anymore.

King’s St Albans is a fabulous nursery - my son is so happy there. The staff are very experienced and they are so kind and engaged with the children. They have dealt with any developmental phases excellently, suggesting solutions and being so patient with my son. The activities are great - river walks, yoga, forest school, french and day trips out. Great value for money too. I can’t recommend them enough!

The days are always filled with lovely activities and things to look forward to. The school has some wonderful facilities, including Forest School - a real highlight! They take advantage of its beautiful setting, nestled next to the river and the cathedral. Our daughter enjoys these visits and others too. It really is a wonderful nursery.

My daughters have been attending since September and they have settled in really well. The staff are welcoming, friendly and engaging with a clear passion for what they do which is evident in the atmosphere of the nursery. My daughters have really gained confidence since coming to King's and they really look forward to each session with enthusiasm, often not wanting to leave when it's time! They are full of stories from their session and excitement which is so lovely to see. We were a little anxious about leaving the girls as they had not spent much time away from us at all due to the pandemic. We saw a couple of nurseries but none of them gave us 'the feeling'. King's St Alban's felt right, it has a warmth to it that is difficult to put into words and we would absolutely recommend it!
