King's St Alban's Nursery

This is a wonderful nursery, with kind and gentle staff that really know the children individually and take genuine joy in their achievements. The team are always supportive and kind of my son, who has been with them more than a year. Communication is excellent; adult ratios are generous; and staff turnover almost zero, which is so good for the children and speaks volumes about this being a happy place. My son has a fabulous time at nursery and I never have to worry about his care at all.

As a mum, I feel incredibly grateful and relieved that my daughter is cared for, supported, guided, and educated by the wonderful staff at her nursery. She is always happy and excited to go in the morning and just as cheerful when she comes home in the evening, often with lots to share about her day. Kings St Alban's Nursery is a place we trust wholeheartedly, and as a family, we are truly grateful for their support.

Our daughter joined St Albans shortly after the New Year having moved from a different setting after we moved home. She was teary to start with but the team made sure she was well taken care of and as such, she settled quickly. The team also put us at ease by sending communication throughout the day with details of how she was doing.

We love how many different activities the nursery puts on for her which she throughly enjoys.

We couldn't be happier with King's St Alban's Nursery for our son. He is now in his 4th month and is absolutely thriving! He settled in quickly and clearly feels very comfortable in the purpose-built setting. He's enjoyed making new friends and particularly loves the Music and PE sessions. The staff are kind, fun and nurturing. The thought that goes into everything they do is impressive. It's also great to see all the staff working as a team, rather than only one key worker knowing your child well. Our son has developed rapidly over the last few months with better behaviour and improved speech and language. He is really happy. This is a credit to the wonderful Nursery Team at King's St Alban's.

Absolutely fantastic! My child's confidence has grown massively since attending this nursery and always has the best time. The communication is really good and I can relax knowing she is being looked after so well. I would recommend to everyone.

My son loves the preschool. From being worried and nervous holding on to me at the start to a happy and confident boy now. The staff are friendly and caring, nothing is too much to ask to do. The choice of activities is great, my son enjoys outdoor play and especially forest school. He is definitely in safe hands and thriving.

Excellent team who dealt with both our children, who to begin with were reluctant. After just a short time, they both love the teachers and now enjoy attending. They are both developing in all areas expected and more importantly at this age, have great fun! Thank you team!

Wonderful nursery have truly helped my children so much from being very worried and nervous to now thriving and being so confident and happy the staff are exceptional. The staff are always on hand to give the children a reassuring cuddle and are always happy to discuss any concerns or issues without making you feel silly as a parent. A top-rate nursery!

Drop-off is a pleasure, all the children are smiling and busy. The staff are amazing and always helpful and enjoy the task of nurturing the children. Our little one has developed so well at King's. She is entertained and enjoys the learning experience. The outdoor walks and forest school are legendary. On pick-up she is positively buzzing and can't wait to tell us about her day. All the children seem to be so happy which is always a good sign. The outdoor play area is great with plenty of activities to keep them occupied. The education program is well documented but delivered in a fun-to-learn manner which seems to engage our granddaughter. She has been at King's for 14 months and has gone from strength to strength in every aspect of her development. I would highly recommend Kings to any parent, you will not be disappointed.

We are so happy with how caring and kind the nursery staff are. When we pick up our daughter she is happy and clearly has excellent and warm relationships with the staff who really understand her and help her thrive. It's a very small setting and has a little garden but the children love heading off to forest school and for walks along the river and the cathedral. I love the small size and the tight-knit school community and camaraderie of the parents. A very social and happy place.

My daughter loves every day she goes to nursery. It is a bright, happy and nurturing place for little ones to develop. The staff are fantastic, caring and will always go the extra mile, understanding the challenges of a busy life and parenthood. Our daughter has so many opportunities to be outside and explore. They do walks on a regular basis and link learning to the walks which is excellent.

King's St Alban's Nursery is wonderful. The staff are so caring and our child absolutely loves going. She was very shy to begin with and she has completely come out of her shell and grown in confidence in the 6 months she is there. The range of activities and trips out they do is excellent.

We are beyond happy that we chose Kings, St Albans for our son's nursery. He really enjoys his time there and has made some really strong relationships with children and teachers. There are lots of activities available, from P.E, walks around the town, swimming and cooking to Forrest school and visits to the local coffee shop! It has been a pleasure for us as parents sharing our son's early years experiences with King’s! I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little boy has been going to this nursery for the past year and he loves it. The staff are so kind and caring. They do lots of activities like forest school, cooking and P.E classes. He really has come on leaps and bounds since starting at St Alban’s.
