Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-School

I am so grateful to the manager and her team for creating such a nurturing, loving, educational, energetic and well-organised environment for the children. It has given us so much comfort and confidence to know our child is being looked after by such a caring and supportive extended support network of our family. A huge shout out to the head chef who spoils the children with the most delicious-sounding, varied and exciting menus, along with lots of sticker fun and amusement.

Camberwell Grove is a wonderful nursery. Our son started in January 2023 when he was 10 months old and loves his time here. The staff are great and the children get up to all sorts of amazing things both in the nursery, in their great outdoor space or on little trips into the community. He is turning into a confident and fun little boy, and his language is coming on amazingly. As a family, we are so happy and would highly recommend.

We would definitely recommend this nursery and we have signed up our daughter to start next year!

Our son started here when he was fourteen months and is absolutely loving it. We are so happy with the quality of learning, every day he comes home with something new. His language has ramped up rapidly during his time at LEYF. Staff are warm and friendly.

My child attended the Camberwell Grove Nursery and Pre-School from the age of nine months until she turned four. We would like to applaud the teachers and the staff for all their hard work and dedication. The nursery is brilliant! Our daughter was going there with a smile every day, it was her happy place. She grew up to be confident in her abilities, sociable and open. The teachers treat children with respect and understanding, developing their skills methodologically and specifically to each child. The food is really good too, cooked at the premises and well balanced. Needless to say that the spacious greened open space of the nursery is unmatched in dense London. Thank you so much LEYF!

Both of our boys have attended LEYF Camberwell Grove for over two years and we couldn't have been happier. The staff are so caring and we've seen them both make such good progress. The outdoor space is also great.

Our daughter was at Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-School for 2 and a half years and my son for 6 months. Both of my kids settled well and loved their time at the nursery. They participated in great activities and I feel that the learning and development (especially with my daughter) was excellent. The staff were kind, caring and enthusiastic. But the main thing was that my partner and I trusted them to take care of our 2 children, they made it easy and stress-free for us to manage our work life which I am extremely grateful for.

My daughter went here for almost two years and was very happy there. The staff were lovely and caring and they provided a fantastic range of activities including gardening and cooking. She really developed and came out of her shell during her time there. Plus, the garden is absolutely amazing!

Our son was at Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-School for nearly three years and loved his time at the nursery. All the teachers are kind and caring with a great connection to the children and they plan and execute a wide range of activities to suit many interests. And of course, the outside space is fantastic! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Camberwell Grove to any prospective parent.

We feel so lucky that our son had the opportunity to attend Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-School. The staff are so attentive and caring. They really put time into his development. The environment is also great with amazing outdoor space. It really is a great place for kids to become bold, brave characters.

Our baby is so happy at Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-School and we are so grateful for her to have this fun place to go to each day! The staff and management are excellent and the outdoor space is fantastic. Also, our compliments to the nursery chef - my baby often has seconds.

I’m very happy with our Nursery. The staff are wonderful, caring and are great with kids. A particular advantage of this nursery is the extensive open space and garden around it. I feel that my child is happy and well looked after there.

Amazing nursery. Our child started going to the nursery when he was 5 months old and the staff were extremely reassuring and patient considering we were quite anxious about leaving our baby at this age. They have made the transition to going back to work such a great experience and we are very grateful. They were and have continued to be very attentive to our child and our feedback. From the very beginning and still today (our child is 18 months), our son has a giant smile on his face when he arrives at the nursery. The staff are also great at sharing with us what he has done during the day and what he has enjoyed the most. We also love the premises and the lovely garden. Last but not least, the food menus look delicious. Thank you very much to everyone at Camberwell Grove Nursery & Pre-school! We feel very happy and lucky that our son can go to such a great nursery!

I would highly recommend it as a nursery. Its been a great success for our little girl.

We’re so happy with this nursery. The staff are great and our daughter has so much fun there. Lots of fabulous activities, fantastic outside space, plenty of care and attention and a really tasty sounding menu every day. We always recommend it to local friends and families/parents.

My son has been attending for 2 days a week since starting at age 3 in Jan 2019. He is naturally shy and my hope was that nursery would help him become more confident and more comfortable in larger groups. He had a bit of shaky start and was quite distressed at drop-offs but the team (management and key workers) were very open to listening to our worries and responsive in offering suggestions and enacting solutions. As a result of those efforts, he's just come home from his graduation ceremony as a much more confident and happy-go-lucky boy, more than ready to start big school. I would wholeheartedly recommend Camberwell Grove - every staff member I've met has been warm, friendly, and caring and whenever I've had a concern, management response has been quick and comprehensive. Obviously COVID-19 has changed things but prior to this, they had a great programme of parent engagement in place and had we not moved to a different area I would have placed my younger son there in a heartbeat.

All the staff have been so welcoming and friendly - my son started at the end of August and the settling in process was really well thought through and personalised. The feedback from staff at the end of each day is really lovely - a detailed account of what my son has been up to and what he's been eating. The food is great - it's interesting to see the menus each day and the head chef did a parent cooking class recently that was good fun and very inspiring.

Our daughter has a whale of a time at nursery. She loves all her teachers and enjoys the range of activities that they organise for her and the other kids. I am often jealous of the food that she gets to eat for lunch and tea.

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery. He is a cautious child and his keyworker encourages him to take risks and join in messy play which is great. He really enjoys the freshly cooked meals and always eats well. When upset his carers give cuddles and comfort which is great, and we enjoy the daily feedback forms which tell us about his day. We are very pleased with the nursery and the care our son receives, he's definitely getting a lot out of the environment, Thank you.
