Just Imagine Maldon Day Nursery, rated Good by Ofsted (September 2025), is a warm and welcoming nursery offering a homely environment for children.

Catering for children aged 18 months to 5 years, children learn and play in age groups with age-appropriate equipment and activities. The staff team deliver the EYFS curriculum through a wide range of stimulating and educational activities and ensure all children are supported and encouraged to explore their interests through both adult and child-led play.

The spacious garden gives children the opportunity to explore the outdoors and with a varied library of resources, every child has the chance to learn new things each day.

The team work hard to establish positive partnerships with parents and families, allowing them to better meet the unique needs of each child.

Out of School Club is also available for 4 to 11 year olds, open before and after school and every school holiday.

Our daughter has loved her time with Just Imagine. The staff are lovely and so friendly. They treat the children like their own. The regular updates are great, it is lovely to see what the children get up to!

Very pleased with the staff and facilities. The staff were quick to point out that my son is colour-blind and took steps to help him identify which colours he could see. Overall, very happy we sent him to this school.

Generally, my child has had a really positive experience at Just Imagine. While like all businesses there are positives and negatives I am pleased that where feedback has been given regarding - number of accidents, playground equipment and frequency of update emails has been addressed in a timely manner.
Overall, the most important thing, does my child enjoy coming to nursery - 100% yes. The staff have created a great environment for him to learn, grow and play, that's the most you can ask for.

Very happy with the way my daughter has been treated here. All members of staff are polite and professional. She has learnt so much at the nursery. My son has been coming to Just Imagine for over six months now, and from the day he started, myself and my son have always felt so welcome. The staff are truly amazing and always happy to help in any way they can. I wish I found the nursery a lot sooner. I will be very sad to say goodbye when my son
leaves to go to big school. Would highly recommend this nursery.

I have two young girls that both attend Just Imagine Nursery - Maldon. They have both been attending there for nearly a year now after moving to the area. We could not have picked a better nursery. All the teachers are absolutely fantastic, the girls adore every single one of them and continuously talk
about nursery when at home, from; what they have done, who their friends are, to the teachers!
The girls have progressed amazingly too, both are doing so well academically and it’s fully down to all the fantastic work the nursery does. They have a brilliant setting with a lovely garden.
My eldest is already booked to attend the breakfast and after school club there, as a working Mum it’s hard not being able to drop your children to school but I feel so comfortable knowing the Teachers at Just Imagine are able to do this for me.
Thank you so much for all you do - I feel at ease when I drop the girls off to you, knowing they are safe and happy.

I have had daughters at Just Imagine since shortly after it opened, my eldest has moved on now, but my youngest still attending. She always enjoys her days there, excited to show me what she has drawn, written or made when I pick her up. She has progressed with eating a wider variety of foods and trying
new foods even if she might not like them. Being one of the eldest children there, the team have been supporting her with developing her writing skills in preparation for school, and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Overall, very positive feelings about Just Imagine. I know both my girls have loved being there.

Since my children have started this nursery they both have flourished, I can go to work knowing they are in good hands. I was very nervous sending my little girl to nursery (as was my daughter!), but the lovely ladies there have helped her settle in so well! My daughter looks forward to going and only a few weeks in asks daily if she is going to nursery! One staff member, in particular, has been a huge help and comfort
to her, but likewise, the other ladies seem sympathetic, warm and patient. My daughter has only just begun to stay for lunch, but the menu seems nutritious and tasty, the activities seem varied and stimulating and in just a few weeks I'm surprised by how far my little girl has come along, and she is loving her newly gained independence! The manager is also fantastic at replying to any questions and queries at all times, and seems very hardworking.

Our son moved to this nursery last summer after we moved house and he settled in so quickly. He absolutely loves to go to nursery and has made lovely bonds with all the staff especially his key worker. The staff really encourage him with his interests such as bringing him in books to learn more and
creating role play games, as well as working on areas where he needs a bit more help. He has made lots of friends since starting here and loves to tell us about all the things he did with his friends at nursery as soon as he gets out the door. We are really happy with his progress here and so glad we chose this nursery when we moved to the area.

I have nothing but continual positive experiences with Just Imagine Maldon Day Nursery and all their staff are friendly, welcoming and their communication is excellent, cannot fault it gold stars from me!
