I love that the nursery is always doing fun activities with the children and helping them to learn in a different way. It is lovely being able to see them enjoying themselves now we are allowed to drop off and pick up inside the building. I also love seeing the updates on the parent's app.
I feel
the food menus could do with a lot of improvement. It seems to always be very similar dishes and is very repetitive which isn’t great if your child doesn’t like a meal, they go without eating anything at all. I’d love to see a 3 or 4 week menu so dishes are only repeated once or twice a month.

The staff at Lytham Lodge, have been so supportive to me and to my daughter, who has a range of additional needs.


They have been supporting my daughter for years but over recent months, I have relied heavily on the support of one member of staff, in particular, to pull together all the documentation

needed to finalise my daughter's EHCP and couldn’t have done this without her.


Staff are so accommodating in helping my daughter transition from lower pre-school to preschool and discuss the progress of this regularly with me so we can all work together to make this as easy as possible for her.


Another member of staff is my daughter's favourite person and she has so much patience and love for her. In October my daughter had a seizure at nursery and this member of staff, along with the other staff, did so well at handling it, especially as I was away for work and couldn’t get there.


Lytham Lodge is an incredible nursery with incredible staff. My daughter can be challenging yet nothing ever is too much trouble.

My child has excellent care and loves all the extra activities you put on thank you! The only improvement I would like is having a slightly earlier drop-off as my job starts at 8. Thank you for your hard work.

Hannah Farman

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Lytham Lodge and the Senior Manager for the region. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies and have a real passion for supporting quality and excellence across our nurseries. In June 2024, I was incredibly proud to lead Lytham Lodge to an Ofsted Outstanding outcome.


Over the years, I’ve also supported several other nurseries within the region — including Poulton Carr Head, Ansdell, Preston, and Bluebell Lodge — in achieving their own Outstanding results. I love sharing knowledge and delivering training, particularly around curriculum, SEND, and in-the-moment planning, which are my specialist areas.


I’m known for my bubbly, outgoing personality and for bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything I do. Outside of work, I love spending time with my two children, Boden and Nova, exploring the outdoors and enjoying trips to the local farm.
