The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The stunning nursery is over two floors and consistes of 8 rooms; 3 baby rooms, 3 toddler rooms and 2 Pre-School rooms. Each room has been purposely designed and resourced for a particular age group. On the first floor, there are 4 children’s rooms along with a community room and a reflections room.

On the ground floor, in addition to 4 children’s rooms, there is a library. All of the rooms have access to an outdoor space which all have breathtaking views of the countryside, ensuring plenty of space for outdoor exploring. The nursery is set in a beautiful 3-acre site so the children are often found outside discovering new things in nature and the environment.

At Wolverhampton, the nursery have paid thoughtful attention to creating an environment that enables children to develop relationships with the world around them, themselves and each other. They see the adult as not the giver of knowledge, but instead children search out the knowledge through their own investigations.

The Reggio Emilia approach is known for regarding the environment as the third teacher. All rooms have materials that are easily accessible, uncluttered and inviting. Staff work with the indoor and outdoor environment to ensure the space children use is a source of learning opportunity.

The Reggio inspired nursery respects the need for comfort and a place to pause, for both children and adults alike.

As a 1st time mother, I was very nervous about returning to work and leaving my son, but the staff at Sandhills could not have been kinder or more helpful. My son absolutely loves it at nursery and knowing he is safe, cared for and having so much fun made my return to work so much easier.


All the

staff are fantastic, they really care about your child. The facilities are excellent, I really love all the outside space the children get to enjoy. The eylog system is a great idea, allowing you to see regular updates on your child.


I couldn't recommend Sandhills Day Nursery (Codsall) enough.

Very traditional nursery with great staff. A warm welcome awaits every time you go and the nursery itself is very colourful and safe. The outdoor play area is exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to this nursey and my child has come on in leaps and bounds since being there and enjoyed
it thoroughly.

Sandhill's is a fantastic nursery. My son is really happy there and thoroughly enjoys his days at nursery. I have really noticed how much he has developed since recently moving into the pre-school class.

The best thing about Sandhills Day nursery (Codsall) is the standard of care of the staff towards the children. They genuinely seem to care about the children and this is so reassuring as a parent. My daughter has bonded very well with some of the carers and this puts me at ease to leave her in their
care.


I would recommend this nursery to any potential parent and I have been really happy with our choice.

Both my children have attended the nursery and moved through various classes. All staff engage with you, whether walking down a corridor or in a classroom.


The classroom teams are excellent. They genuinely love to be with my children, which brings peace of mind when you leave them on a morning.

The development of children is well documented on the observation reports within the Eylog app and reinforced verbally when completing the handover debrief at the end of the day. The range of activities completed each day is varied and stimulating. Office staff are also accommodating with altering days and supporting invoicing queries.


Overall a comfortable and welcoming nursery with genuine, loving and hardworking staff.

The staff at Sandhills, Codsall are exemplary. They are committed, caring and loving towards every single child.
Our daughter started her journey at Sandhills in August 2016. She was nine months old and was very attached to both myself and her dad and we were very worried that she wouldn't settle
in. Now, 8 months on - our little girl is confident, very chatty and independent. The staff have shown her so much love that now she feels safe when we drop her off. Without the dedication of the staff and effective communication, this would not have been possible.
We look forward to continuing our daughters learning journey at Sandhills, Codsall.

From the very first time we came to Sandhills Codsall for a visit, my husband and I knew it was the one. We were taken round by the deputy who was very knowledgable about each room, the routines and the EYFS Curriculum. My son was also greeted by staff in the first few rooms we went into and then we
were kindly asked if our son would want to spend the time in the baby room whilst my husband and I had a good look around. We've been happy with the information we receive about our son on every pick up about his day at nursery. He didn't immediately settle like we'd hoped, but the staff were very good with him. He now loves going to nursery and when we pick him up earlier than usual, he's not best pleased! Every occasion in the calendar (St Patricks Day, Children In Need, World Book Day etc) is celebrated. The EY Log is a great resource to learn/share about our child's progress through the observations at home and at nursery. The monthly newsletter is useful too! Thank you!

My daughter has been at Sandhills now for almost 3 years and I couldn't ask for a better nursery. All of the staff and management are friendly and very accommodating. There have been some big changes in our home life over the past 18months and the nursery staff and management team have been amazing
through it all. I would definitely recommend Sandhills (Codsall)

My experience with Sandhills has continued from last seven years. Both of my children have attended this nursery. Staff are very supportive of parents and children's needs. Great place for kids to start their journey of education. Varied activities done here have always motivated my kids to develop
their confidence. I will recommend this place to all. One of the best decision I have made to give my kids the best start. Manager and the staff team are always very attentive to individual needs of every child. Extreme attention to detail has always been their main focus. Keep the good work on!!!

I think the staff are great, always very friendly and enthusiastic about the children's activities.
I find the ELogs extremely useful too, it's good to be able to have updates so regularly. Less paper is always good too.

Lovely nursery, my son is very happy there. Great outdoor space they use whenever possible. Very helpful in being flexible when I need to change days for work. I like their flexibility in moving children between rooms when they are ready for it rather than at set ages.

Fantastic place. My son has come on leaps and bounds and loves Sandhills. The level of education is brilliant and he asks questions about everything. He loves the outside area. The staff are great and anything that he finds interesting they build on to promote more knowledge.

My daughter has been attending Sandhills since last July and I have never left her upset or picked her up upset and this is a credit to the staff that work here. She is happy and content. The staff know each child regardless of how many they are looking after that day. I love the fact that she has the
opportunity to spend some time outside and have fun. I can't recommend highly enough. Keep up the hard work you all do as it doesn't go unmissed. Thank you so very much.

I am so pleased with how well my daughter settled into nursery. Her development has progressed even more since starting nursery. She is a happy, sociable and chatty 22 month old. Nothing is too much to ask - members of staff have a great parent/carer relationship involving us as parents into her nursery
life. The outdoor classroom is a brilliant facility and gives children the opportunity to explore different areas and resources at the same time as exploring the great outdoors. Staff are fantastic.

Since my daughter has begun her time at the nursery she has come on a tremendous way. Always learning new things every day and developing to become a more sociable child with great interactions. While my daughter has been at the nursery I have seen many changes which have always improved the care or quality the nursery provide to the children. The new outdoor area is amazing and the children always have big smiles while they are outside. I would recommend this nursery as the standard of care

My daughters have both attended Sandhill's Day Nursery and have both thoroughly enjoyed their time in this setting. The staff and management team provide excellent care and compassion to the children in their care. As a mother I feel listened to and feel that my views are respected as a parent. The
nursery staff provide a variety of stimulating activities and the outdoor space has been creatively designed to encourage imaginative play. The semi-rural setting is ideal and both of my children have enjoyed walks to see the horses at the rear of the grounds. I would like to thank the team at Sandhill's again for their dedication and commitment.
