Little Bear's In Elephant Central

I would recommend Little Bears to anyone looking for a nursery in that area the staff really seem to love their job and it's just so lovely to see!

We are very happy that we chose Little Bears for our son. We visited several nurseries in the area, and Little Bear’s was by far the most modern, well-equipped, and welcoming environment. The staff are warm and caring, and are always available to speak. Our son has some additional needs, for example around speech and language, and Little Bear’s have been wonderful in offering to work with him to support the work that his speech and language therapist is doing, which particularly impressed us. Our son has come on leaps and bounds, and he adores his key worker and the nursery manager. I can recommend this nursery wholeheartedly.

This is an outstanding nursery. You really feel your child is deeply cared for by the incredible team of staff. Everyone is friendly and warm, and all the staff know my child's name and he loves talking with them. They go above and beyond to support you and any additional needs you might have, and they are very understanding about sensitive issues – nothing is a problem for them. The manager is excellent. My child always comes home happy and excited about his day. Other great things worth mentioning: the pandemic challenges have been well and carefully managed; detailed monthly reports show a tailored approach to childcare and specific personal development goals; varied and nutritious meals with daily updates; engaging, fun activities; very high cleanliness levels; lots of bright open space and a garden; many opportunities to learn and grow. I highly recommend Little Bear's nursery for anyone looking for a special, caring place for their child.

My boys both go to Little Bears in Elephant Central and are super happy, so are we! All of the staff are wonderful - full of energy, compassion and genuine affection for the children. They take time to explore each child’s individual interests and tailor activities to help them develop and grow and ensure they love every day they spend there.

My son has been attending Little Bears nursery for three months now and he absolutely loves nursery! He has bonded so well with the staff members and my mind is fully at ease that he is receiving amazing care from the staff. During drop off I see the enthusiasm in other children to start their day in nursery and sometimes my son literally jumps out of my hands to hug his nursery teacher. He has developed and grown so much in such a short time. I can not express enough how amazing this nursery is. I have since recommended this nursery to other mums looking for nursery and one of them have actually enrolled their child ! I love the way my child is growing and this nursery has contributed in this so much! The food is very nutritious and freshly prepared daily which my son loves as he eats very well. They encourage independence but they are always there to support the child and ensure they receive the best out of everything. Thank you Little Bear’s.

Little Bear’s has been amazing with our son since day one. Our son adjusted immediately and has taken to his carers like a fish to water!

The level of attention and care has met our expectations on so many levels and our son cannot wait to attend nursery in the mornings. He is happy when he goes in and joyful when we collect him.

We have also observed new developmental milestones, particularly with speech. Our son is no longer anxious and frustrated with attending nursery and we will be forever grateful for the care, love and patience that our son experiences at Little Bear’s.

I am absolutely in love with Little Bear's Nursery. The quality of service is exceptional. The staff are friendly, caring and helpful. My daughter loves going to nursery and it's amazing how well she's picked up good habits since starting with the nursery. She has learnt so much in such a small period of time, and that proves to me that the nursery do all they can to encourage, entertain and support her. They maintain a clean environment, whilst ensuring to give you frequent updates on your child's progress daily and monthly. Feels like you're a part of their family. I'm proud to have my daughter attend Little Bears, and I will always recommend it.

The children's developmental and academic progress reports are thorough, which is also demonstrative of the dedication of the staff to the children's development. Our children have been thriving and have developed greatly at Little Bears in gaining independence, confidence, and curiosity, developing their empathy, learning to do simple and difficult tasks. In addition to what we teach them at home, our children's carers are kind, empathetic, and devoted to their wellbeing, and our children love them!

Our child is happy attending Little Bear's. He enjoys himself during his stay, knows all the staff by name and never mentions anything negative. He feels at home there. This speaks to the intimate environment created at the centre by management and staff. We are reassured by our son receiving this high level of attention and care.

My son has been with Little Bear's nursery for almost 2 years now. I’ve seen his abilities grow rapidly and consistently. He has amazing speech, his ability to listen to instructions gets better every time he comes home from nursery. His social skills are amazing and I’m very happy with his capacity to learn things such as letters, phonics, numbers and independence. The care workers are so patient and loving. We've loved our experience from day one.

My 3-year-old child started attending this nursery in January 2020 and I am really happy with his progress. When he first started he would cry and scream at the door, three weeks on he runs inside excited, happy and greets every practitioner by their names. My child has also learnt new things which he practices at home. The staff are really helpful, friendly and understand the needs of your child. An excellent nursery, I would highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending Little Bear's in Elephant for nearly a year and it's been an incredible experience for all of us!

We were concerned about making the leap from a fairly isolated (Covid lockdown) home life to nursery, but it was a very smooth transition. All the staff were (and still are) very supportive, patient and caring, which made things very easy.

The classrooms are bright and full of super fun activities, which has all helped with her learning and confidence, most notably in her language and use of crayons/pencils etc.

And it's all-inclusive, so great value.

The settling sessions went very well. Little Bear's In Elephant Central staff were very accommodating to how my son would be feeling on the day, which allowed him to settle in perfectly. The staff were very friendly, which made us both feel very welcomed. I can definitely see an improvement in terms of my son's development, he wants to talk more and communicate with expressions. The nursery is always finding ways to improve his self feeding skills and they communicate with me strategies they have tried using and what has worked well for them.

My little boy had a great settling time and felt comfortable very, very soon. He is excited to go to the nursery every morning and jumps around when we arrive there in the morning. Also, the staff are very considerate about his special needs and we are very happy to have chosen this nursery for him.

My son’s first day at nursery was great, he was made to feel very welcomed and he settled in like he had been there for months, the staff really came down to his level and supported and interacted with him for the whole day, he was sad to leave when it was time to go home. I looked forward to seeing his growth and development at this new establishment
