Maltman's Green School Day Care and Nursery for Girls

Our daughter absolutely loves Little Malties. She gets so much one-on-one care from her teachers and she's learning so much. She's speaking French and loves her music lessons, but she's also very outdoorsy and gets to round around the woods and be active in PE.

We couldn't be happier with Little Malties. After moving to the area, I was disappointed with the nursery options until I found LM. My daughter is a quiet, sensitive child, and the nurturing environment has been perfect for her. In just a year, her confidence has grown enormously, and she genuinely loves going in each day. The caring staff, structured routine and specialist lessons have made such a positive difference. We've been so impressed that our youngest will be starting when she turns two, and we've decided to keep both girls at the school through their primary years. Communication has always been excellent, and we've had nothing but a positive experience. A true gem of a school.

Little Malties has been one of the best decisions we've made for our daughter. She has truly thrived in the nurturing environment. The smaller class sizes and the wide range of activities-such as French, Music, PE, Dance, and Gym-have been fantastic for her development.

The teachers and staff are exceptional. They've taken the time to get to know our daughter as an individual, allowing them to support her growth, encourage her where needed, and nurture the activities she enjoys most.

We would highly recommend Maltman's Green, and especially Little Malties.

Both my daughters have attended Little Malties and Nursery (2-4 yrs). Whilst the facilities and activities speak for themselves eg. (woodlands, swimming, Music and French lessons), it is the experienced staff and leadership that has shaped our experience. They get to know your daughter and understand her needs and personality. The partnership with them has really made a difference when we have needed extra support, eg. with potty training, sleeping, eating and settling when things are hard, especially when they are 2! My daughter was petrified of swimming and her key teacher built trust and safety to give her confidence and within a few weeks, she was running in with her swimming bag! The communication is also excellent with a portal, daily diary, updates at drop off or collection and meetings whenever we have needed them. In summary I find the early years provision at Maltman's safe, nurturing, boundaries, environmentally excellent and a place where my girls have made memories for life.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone looking for an elite standard of complete care for their daughter.

My three-year-old daughter started at Maltman's Green School in September 2024. Since then she has been full of joy and thriving. She loves going to nursery every morning. Her speech and her social skills have come leaps and bounds. She always struggled with meal times but with steady and consistent encouragement from the nursery staff she has begun to try new foods and will often have had most of her lunch. We receive regular feedback from the teachers about her day and the activities she has engaged in. There is continued communication with parents which is reassuring and allows busy parents to feel involved in their child's development. The nursery also provides specialist swimming, music and French lessons which my daughter has been enjoying. They also get exposure to the rest of the school which makes the next steps after nursery feel a lot less daunting. I am so pleased we chose Maltman's.

Our daughter is thriving in this lovely, caring school. Her nursery teachers have really brought out the best in her, encouraging her to try new things and she always comes home happily chatting about all the fun activities they have been doing.

I cannot rate the experience my daughter has at Nursery enough. Her form teacher is so warm and welcoming as are all the teaching assistants in the class. Wednesdays are a particular favourite with the opportunity to go swimming in the big girls' pool! My daughter always comes out of nursery telling me how great her day was and how delicious the food was! The girls have the ability to play in the pre-prep playground which is fantastic having been recently revamped. They really benefit from wonderful facilities being linked to a school. The learning that the girls do through play and stories is wonderful and my daughter always enjoys telling me what she did that day. She is treated as a three-year-old toddler whilst being given the opportunity to learn independence. I know that even if she is having a bad day she will have cuddles if she needs them and having Matron onsite for any bumps, grazes and illnesses really does put my mind at rest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Nursery.

Maltman's Green School Day Care and Nursery is amazing. The teachers are so passionate about learning and the well-being of the girls. My daughter has become a more confident little girl and has started reading already! She also loves school and the lessons with specialised teachers - French, PE, music. I am very impressed with the school and believe my daughter will be well prepared for reception.

We have really enjoyed being part of the Maltman's Green School family and they have played such a special role in our children's lives setting them up.

We moved our daughter here 3 months ago as she was really unsettled in her previous setting. We were worried about how she would cope with moving but she has been so happy since day 1. Her confidence has grown, she jumps up and down at the door and she is so happy at the school. We get lovely updates throughout the day about all the amazing things she gets up to -music/French/p.e/swimming (even at 2 years old)! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school!

My daughter attended Little Malties for one year. Whilst the facilities at the school are amazing the staff are quite cold. If you are looking for a warm and nurturing environment then this nursery/school is not for you - the school is quite clinical and pushy. Two-year-olds are still quite young and the school does not allow for any behaviour that is less than perfect. There is a high turnover of both staff and pupils at the school and there is a reason for that - even after we left some parents have pulled their children out of nursery mid-year due to the school's failures. Since leaving this setting and going to another private school nursery setting my daughter has been thriving and we are happy with our decision to not send our other daughter to this nursery.

The nursery is absolutely outstanding in all aspects. The staff, especially the manager, are experienced, caring, attentive and sensible. Makes me feel so secure and happy that my child is in safe hands. There is a good selection of healthy food, excellent resources like swimming and French lessons!

My daughter has been at Maltman's during little malties and nursery and I am absolutely thrilled we decided to choose Maltman's pre-school and nursery.

She has truly flourished since being here and we have seen her gain such confidence, and really develop her personality it’s been a delight to see. She has also a great knowledge of both mathematics and English skills already which is fantastic.

Overall there staff are amazing and so dedicated to ensuring your child is happy and developing academically in a fun, safe environment. There is nothing to fault and I look forward to sending my youngest daughter here too very soon.

Our daughter has thrived in this environment. She has grown so much in confidence and has learnt a huge amount during her year at little malties. We have been amazed and sit back in awe when we reflect how much she has changed and developed.

I looked at a number of nursery places for my daughter in and around Gerrards Cross. Maltman's offer facilities that others do not; French lessons, piano/singing time, swimming lessons etc. The teachers are very capable and friendly. Great path to get my daughter ready for reception. My daughter has grown in confidence and skips to nursery with a smile, she can’t wait to get there each morning. There is a great social aspect for mothers too. Would highly recommend.

Since joining the nursery my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and looks forward to coming to nursery every day. Also, the nursery itself is a fun and loving environment and I think it provides the backup for more effective learning. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others!
