ESMS Nursery

Our third child has now joined ESMS Nursery, it is a wonderful and nurturing environment. The outdoor space is definitely one of the main attractions. I love that the children can spend almost all of their day outside if they wish, with the additional bonus of forest kindergarten sessions and regular welly walks in the wider grounds. The staff are wonderful and provide so many fun experiences for all.

ESMS Nursery is a wonderful nursery. My son has attended since August last year and he absolutely loves it. He has developed a close bond with the teachers who are all just fantastic. I'm always amazed at parent's evenings how well they know him, even though they have a number of other children to look after at the same time and he has met some lovely friends. He skips into nursery every day and comes home happy each afternoon and full of excited chatter about what he got up to that day. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents as a happy, nurturing environment where children thrive.

I have been incredibly impressed with the nursery at ESMS Nursery over the past year and two terms. My son attended Snowdrops and then the N2 Poppy Room. The staff know the children so well, are communicative and so caring. I feel they really balance important academic milestones like mark-making, with huge amounts of fun. My son feels safe, happy and loves school. The facilities are second to none and provide fantastic opportunities for the pupils to thrive.

The day my daughter started at ESMS Nursery was when I finally stopped worrying about whether she was happy at nursery. She loved it from day one, with an excellent transition using video messages and a virtual tour, this was during the first six months of the pandemic. In her previous nursery, staff turnover was so high and the stress of daily agency workers coming in meant no continuity in activities. Now we know she is seeing the same wonderful and friendly faces every day and that she is supported with kindness and in an age-appropriate way on her preschool journey. The teachers are not just incredibly well qualified, they are the most loving, kind teachers and really have a special heart for children of preschool age. Forest kindergarten is offered and was a huge hit, the outdoor and indoor facilities are incredible and anything from the curriculum to the quality of school lunches is outstanding. I couldn't recommend the ESMS Nursery more highly.

My son has attended the ESMS Nursery for the past two years and the standard of care and education has been exemplary. My son thrives on the range of activities on offer which change regularly. He is stimulated and happy, no parent could ask for more.

Our son loves this nursery and it is a joy to walk him up the pathway to nursery as he is so excited to get in and start his day. The staff are attentive, caring and we couldn't be happier with the environment that he has been in for the last two years at ESMS Nursery. Our son has been supported and stretched at nursery and has come out his shell over the past year. Thanks to this, we feel he is well prepared to start his primary education this summer.

The staff make the nursery at ESMS a wonderful environment for children. Their care, energy, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and determination to provide a safe and enriching space is evident on a daily basis. Our daughter looked forward to nursery every day and often asked if she could go at weekends. Thank you to all the staff.

My daughter has absolutely blossomed at ESMS. Her personality and confidence has been embraced and improved thanks to the guidance and encouragement of the staff. I have zero complaints and will be sending our younger daughter there so she can benefit too.

The nursery is a very welcoming place. All the staff are friendly and know a lot about each child in their care. During nursery time the children are able to experience a wide variety of activities of their choosing. It is great the children are able to go outside in all weathers. The highlight of nursery for my son has been Forest School and ICT, neither of which we had at his previous nursery. I really like the information sheet outside the classroom each day to give a snapshot of what the children were up to and also what snack was on offer as this sometimes differs from the child's information.

I think the nursery is wonderful, so nurturing, I feel they really know my child. The staff in the Thistle room are fantastic, so approachable. I feel my child is developing his knowledge and skills in nursery, in a lovely environment.

ESMS Nursery offers an incredibly caring and multi-faceted experience for the children attending. Staff are loving, communicative and well experienced in supporting the children's development. I cannot fault the nursery, definitely, great experience had by all.

Incredible teachers and facilities. Learning opportunities are fantastic. My little girl has developed and grown so much since joining ESMS. Outstanding teachers.
